Parkside Retreat is located in the quaint city of New Holstein, right on the city’s largest park. The Aquatic Center, basketball/tennis courts, ball diamonds, fishing pond, and walking paths are located just steps outside. Just 10 miles away from Elkhart Lake and Road America we are close to everything yet tucked away from the crowds. Enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer, then settle in for a relaxing evening at Parkside Retreat.

The host lives and works above the rented space with his sweet, old dog. We might see each other here or there on the patio, the garage, etc.

Parkside Retreat is close to beautiful hiking in Kiel. (Walla Hi), Elkhart Lake (La Budde Creek), Greenbush, and High Cliff State Park. Mountain Biking trails can be found in Sheboygan and Greenbush. Multiple kayaking spots also are nearby.

Fine dining in Elkhart Lake, Sheboygan, and Kohler. Multiple Supper Clubs just miles away. Area staples Parker Johns (Kiel), Isaacs (New Holstein), and Brown Baer (Elkhart Lake) have menus that satisfy any appetite.

The area is well known for Kohler's premiere golf courses, Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run. Many other courses exist nearby, such as Hickory Hills (Chilton), Autumn Ridge (Valders), and Quit Qui Oc (Elkhart Lake).

Dog parks exist in Kiel, Sheboygan, and Plymouth.

25 miles from Kohler, 27 miles from Sheboygan, 35 miles from Appleton, and 13 miles from Lake Winnebago;

This apartment is a mother-in-law suite located in the lower level of the main house. You'll have your own entrance through the main garage of the home. This unit functions as its own space with a kitchenette, refrigerator, two burner plate, toaster oven, full bath, dinette, 65" smart TV and sitting area.

You'll have access to the grill and main patio during your stay.

You'll need a car to enjoy the surrounding area.

This apartment is a mother-in-law suite located in the lower level of the main house with its own private entrance.

We are Pet Friendly (1 pet max) here and we ask that you pick up your dog's waste and a leash is a must in the park.

Great place

This was our 2nd stay at Parkside Retreat, but surely wont be our last! The property is immaculate, nicely furnished, and well maintained. Conveniently located in a quiet subdivision by our grandsons favorite park, but close enough to amenities and local attractions. We are lookong forward to our next visit!

Lovely apartment loaded with amenities

We enjoyed our stay a great deal. The couch and bed were very comfortable. The amenities were over and above, including water and beer plus a fun little basketball hoops game we both enjoyed playing. The location was in a nice quiet neighborhood and was conveniently located to where we needed to be. Overall, we were very pleased.

Wonderful place!!!

We absolutely loved Parkside Retreat! Nestled in a residential area, yet still close to everything. The home was immaculate, both inside, and out. Beautifully furnished and decorated. The bedding and beds were very comfortable. The owners thought of everything. They stocked they home with games, toys, coffee, snacks, toiletries, personal care products, refreshments, even dog beds and bowls for your pet. We could have packed only our clothes and not needed a thing more. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Great Stay

This was by far the nicest rental we've had the pleasure of staying at. The decor is so cute and funny (my favorite is the applebees plates). It's incredibly spacious and amazingly clean. Some water got spilled on the floor and when I cleaned it up the papertowel had no dirt on it, which isn't something I can say is possible at our house with 2 dogs. The park is literally in their backyard so if you go with a dog or kids they'll probably get great use out of it. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. If we ever have to rent in the area again this will be our go to!

Fun location; Great accommodations

Our group of 3, plus 1 dog, have only positive things to say about our stay here. Being on the walking path which winds through the park and the beautiful woods was perfect for us. The apartment was comfortable, clean & spacious. It smelled clean & fresh. The hosts made it extra comfortable by providing nice quality bath towels, quality toilet paper (yes, that matters to us!) and plenty of appliances in the kitchen. The beds were wonderful. Icing on the cake was the basketball game, which gave us and our parents many laughs! The directions into the apartment were easy to follow. Security locks were well-placed. We will definitely book this location again when visiting New Holstein. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
