We loved being right on the river. Although it was too hot to play pickleball it looks like a great space. Loved the tiered space down by the water. We sat on the swing every morning enjoying the quiet with a coffee & book & loved the sunsets in the evening. The covered patio by the beach was very nice for shade. The dock was great to be able to access the boat in the morning & park it in the evening at the end of a long day without having to take it out of the water. The current could be a little strong at times but we tied it down well & no problems. We were disappointed to have to take the boat to launch at Jack Smith due to the steepness of the launch ramp at the property but very happy to have the dock. The house was great. It was so nice to have 3 bedrooms although the bunkbed was close to the ceiling & not safe with the fan on. Our young adults felt a little claustrophobic. We loved all the space in the living room for everyone to gather. A few more supplies in the kitchen would have been nice like a crockpot, can opener, casual drinking cups, more silverware but we made due. And the front porch was nice to sit in the morning & evening with the fans. There was plenty of parking on the gravel for cars & the trailer next to the house. The owners were good at getting back when messaged & also friendly when saw in person. Oh & their dog was sweet & very friendly. Location on the river was perfect & easy to get to & felt very safe in the neighborhood with all the gates.
