The Anna Maria Island Get-A-Way at Bradenton Beach is a 4-minute walk to the beautiful sugary sunset beach. Relax in this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom located in a quiet section of Runaway Bay. Unit 280 sits a few steps away from heated pool with no street traffic noise. The enclosed lanai balcony overlooks the scenic lagoon pond. The kitchen opens up to the dining/living room with beautiful tile floors in kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs!
All beach and pool needs are included: four chairs, beach towels and some toys for the kids. Runaway Bay has the largest heated pool on Anna Maria Island with tennis court, pickle ball, workout/gym room and party room. The large fishing pier on the bay and closeness to the beautiful beaches on Anna Maria Island make this ideal for a family vacation or a romantic getaway!
NO CAR NEEDED! Leave your car in one of the two covered parking spaces and walk or take the free trolley up and down the Island exploring sunny beaches or unique beach watering holes and restaurants. Included are 4 beach/pool towels, 4 beach chairs, beach toys for the kids.
Walk or take the free trolley up and down the Island exploring sunny beaches, restaurants, watering holes, and musical entertainment. Pharmacies & grocery stores are on the island (Instacart delivery is available from Publix grocery store). Unit is located a leisurely 1/2 mile walk from the famous Bridge Street shopping/restaurant area which also includes mini golf, ice cream, gourmet donuts and more.
Numerous golf courses, many of which are 5-star, are nearby such as Bradenton Country Club, Timber Creek Golf Course, Manatee County Golf Course, IMG Academy Golf Club, Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Club, and Legacy Golf Club – Lakewood Ranch.

This condo was perfect for our group of 4, we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Beach chairs, cart, umbrella and pool toys were all available for us to use. The view of the lake w/fountain that was off the balcony was really pretty and relaxing. The location was great - short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time on Anna Maria Island and are already looking forward to returning. We would certainly consider staying at this property again in the future.It was just my wife and me during our stay, so the condo provided more than enough space for the two of us. The unit was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We brought our own fishing gear and beach equipment, but it was a very nice surprise to find that the host also provided fishing gear, beach chairs, and umbrellas for guests to use.The pool was unfortunately out of service during our stay, but even without access to the pool, we felt that the property provided excellent value.We also had a rental car, and parking was easy and convenient. The property was within a short drive of our favorite beach and several other attractions. One of the biggest conveniences was having both northbound and southbound trolley stops located right at the entrance to Runaway Bay, making it very easy to get around the island without having to drive.We also enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the area. During our early morning walks, we had the opportunity to meet several people who appeared to be local residents, which added to the welcoming and authentic feel of the neighborhood.Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily recommend this property to others. We look forward to returning to Anna Maria Island and would definitely consider staying here again

Unit not as advertised; watch out for post-stay feesWe checked out of this property recently and were disappointed to find that it did not match the listing description. The master bedroom was advertised as having a Queen-size bed, but it only contained a Full-size bed. When we messaged the host about this during our stay, they did not deny it and responded that they are planning to upgrade the bed later this fall during a rehab of the unit. Additionally, several items inside the unit were broken upon our arrival. The pull-out sofa was broken and did not pull out at all. The TVs in both bedrooms did not work. One of the cabinets in the kitchen was hanging off the hinges. The AC also did not reach the front bedroom and the kids found it difficult to sleep there even after we purchased a fan (the fan in the closet was broken). Two days after checkout, the host attempted to charge us a 300 extra cleaning fee, claiming the unit was left excessively dirty. We left the property in standard checkout condition. The host has not provided any photographic proof or line-item receipts to justify this charge. Be aware that the listing details regarding bed sizes may not be accurate, and watch out for unproven post-stay fees.

Great place

We had the best time staying in this property. It had everything and all of the space we needed. Great location for the beach and restaurants near by. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Anna Maria Island!

An amazing beach vacation!

Home Away From Home

The condo accommodated two couples very nicely! Everything from cleanliness, decorating, communication and location was excellent. It was an easy walk to the beach and we also enjoyed the nice pool.

Great stay!

Very nice condo seamless stay great location but a little further than we thought to walk but overall an easy walk to the beach. Pool never crowded. Couldn’t have asked for anything better with short notice of a couple of weeks.

Had a wonderful time staying here. Appreciated having a recliner in the Master bedroom. The pool in the complex was wonderful. Definitely would stay here again in the future.

Tim and I grew up in Bucks County, PA where our family of ten (7 boys and 1 girl) spent many summers vacationing in Avalon, NJ. Our parents provided a great setting for great memories spending long summer days at the beach. When Tim and I visited Anna Maria Island in early 2022, we felt like we found the perfect place to again create great memories with our families. We are glad to provide a place for you to create those special moments with your families.

Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island is the perfect place to slow down for our families. Runaway Bay is centrally located between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercoastal Waterway/Bay allowing for easy access to beautiful water. Runaway Bay has great amenities for young families and couples looking to step away for a short retreat. The pool feels like you are at a resort. Being able to walk or take the free trolley to dinner, entertainment, shows, and mini-golf near Bridge Street was important for us. Spending late afternoons on the beach and having dinner with the sun setting over the Gulf is a perfect way to end the day with your family.

Runaway Bay is perfectly located to slow down and enjoy sugary-sanded beaches, turquoise water, and beautiful sunsets. Lounging at the pool or conveniently walking to the beach is essential. Enjoying the entre island is easily done by walking or taking the free trolley, which means not contending with driving. For active families, having many amenities and activities near by, such as the pool, tennis courts, paddle board, kayaking, and golf near by, allows for many convenient options.
