Wonderful Getaway

We had a perfect little getaway from Wednesday through Saturday. The place was clean and well-stocked with all the little necessities that make a stay comfortable. The dock was great. We really enjoyed the fishing, though unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for kayaking. Hated to leave, but we’re already looking forward to future visits

Cottage Stay

Can’t say enough about how nice this little cottage is! It was so clean and welcoming. It has everything you could possibly need included. Everything is extremely well stocked. It’s right on the lake. Nice porch to sit on and watch the activities on the lake. Unfortunately we were there during the current heatwave and really didn’t spend the time outside that we would have liked to. That being said we certainly enjoyed being there. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Chautauqua Fishing Trip 2025

Great view of lake, great updated kitchen and appliances. Dock was good but had no electric for trolling batteries. Did not bring long enough extension cords and ran out of battery on day 2. All else was great!

Great place to stay to fish.

This cottage could not have been more equipped and clean. The owners family lives next door and available for anything you could need. We couldn’t have been anymore comfortable. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful weekend

Property was clean and welcoming! Great location right on the water, with beautiful views and close access to anything you could and/or need. Check-in and check-out was super easy.

Lakefront Cottage

Beautiful little cottage right on the lake. Every little detail was thought of and sitting on the covered lakefront deck was great. Hope to do a longer stay next time

The perfect spot for a family get away

The location is perfect if you’re planning to boat on the lake. There are multiple boat launches close by. The house was well stocked with anything you would need. Would book again!

Perfect lake getaway

We had a wonderful getaway and the views were amazing. I can't recommend it enough. Everything was clean, as described, and we felt very comfortable here. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing place

Had a wonderful stay. Great location with a short drive to bemus and Lakewood. Everything was just as listed and clean. Owner was very responsive to all questions and even offered to have firewood put out for us. Would definitely stay again.

Quaint lake side cottage

We reserved this nice lake side cottage for a weekend of fishing. Everything in was in great shape, furniture and beds were very comfy. Kitchen very modern and user friendly. Great for a few guys or small family to enjoy Lake Chautaqua.

Beautiful Chautauqua Cottage

This homey cottage with a lovely view of the lake made for a perfect getaway. A quiet neighborhood, conveniently located close to Jamestown. My wife's first stay at Chautauqua and she loved it! I spent every day on the deck or dock having my coffee as the sun came up. We will be back!

Beautiful

This property was exactly what we were looking for. It had its own boat dock which was important to us. The property manager was quick with responses. This was cozy, and very clean. The view was great. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. We enjoyed our stay!!!!

Clean, Classic, and Comfy

Great lakeside stay, and a classic cabin. My wife felt so at home, very much like her beloved family's lake side cottage. Peaceful and beautiful, and convenient to Jamestown, the Chautauqua Institute, and everything else the area has to offer. We hated to leave! Chris was terrific and a great communicator. We can't wait to go back, next time we'll hopefully be able to stay a lot longer.

Beautiful View

Enjoyed our stay very much. although we didn't have the greatest of weather. Would have really enjoyed the deck more but too windy and cold. Very neat and clean cottage and enjoyed everything being on one floor. Hope we can return. Lorraine

Wonderful

The cottage is right on the lake with beautiful views. Very cozy on the inside with a large king size bed in first room and 2 twins in the second room. very nice kitchen with all the amenities and comfortable living area. We enjoyed the fire pit which is right by the lake, thank you to our host for supplying us with wood. Such a Great place, we will be happy to return again soon!

Was looking so forward to this week & unfortunately on the first day my husband had to go to hospital for a few days. Joe next door was a wonderful help with everything. Made the bet of the week even though weather was very windy. Would love to return next year.

Hidden Gem! Just bring your clothes and relax on the lake!

This place has everything you could want! Its centrally located to Bemus Point, Chautauqua, Lakewood and Jamestown. Southern Tier Brewery and Ashville General store are right up the road! The location is tucked back off the main road, giving you privacy and the amount of lakefront makes you feel like your the only ones there! The hosts were amazing to deal with, communication was very quick and they even had firewood ready for me when I got there! Everything, from the linens and towels to a fully stocked kitchen was provided. All you have to do is relax! The 2 window air conditioners did a great job of keeping the cottage cool on the hot days. I enjoyed waking up every morning and having my coffee on the back patio, watching the beautiful sunrises. At night, sitting out on the dock or by the firepit you have some great views of the sunsets. A propane grill is also provided for any cooking out you want to do. This is a awesome place for couples who are looking to get away and have some privacy, while still enjoying all that Chautauqua County has to offer. Having a washer and dryer on property is a plus, as I hate coming home to a ton of laundry. We will definitely be back!
