The Alta Views Glacier Hideaway is a centrally located townhome, just minutes away from everything that Whitefish, MT has to offer and is available for monthly bookings, making it perfect for your Montana flexcation. What is a flexcation? It's a longer, more flexible vacation that allows you to mix work/school with play! Whether you're here to get outside and ski at Whitefish Mountain Resort, boat on the stunning Flathead or Whitefish Lake, take a hike at Glacier National Park, or spend some time shopping and dining in downtown Whitefish, making it the perfect destination. This town home also allows access to a fitness center, seasonal hot tub, and clubhouse!

As you enter the home, you are immediately welcomed by the cozy master bedroom suite. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen-sized bed and has gorgeous windows that allow a lot of natural light in. In the attached ensuite bathroom, you'll find a beautiful vanity and large walk-in shower. Once you move up the stairs you are greeted by the open-concept kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen is light, airy, and equipped with everything you need to make a delicious meal. The dining area has a 4-person dining table and is perfect for entertaining friends. The living room is one of our favorite areas of the home, with a beautiful green leather couch, tons of natural light and views of Whitefish. You have access to the private balcony from the living room area, complete with a gas grill and beautiful views! On this main level, you also have the second bedroom, equipped with a queen-sized bed and another bathroom with a combo tub/shower.

As you move upstairs, you will find the loft area with views over the living area and more gorgeous views outside. The loft has a queen-sized sleeper sofa, beautiful art, fun cow-print ottomans, and a desk perfect for your work-from-home needs!

​​​​​​​In the winter, downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort provides 3,000+ skiable acres, 14 lifts with terrain for all skill levels and stunning views. The resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! There are plenty of other winter activities from snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and more. Of course, you'll also want to explore downtown Whitefish eateries and galleries and don't miss Winter Carnival with a parade and skijoring!

In the summer, enjoy all the watersports imaginable at Whitefish Lake, or any of the 100+ lakes & rivers within 100 miles, including Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Whitefish Mountain Resort also provides endless activities such as mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, ropes courses, alpine slides, and scenic chair or gondola rides (with Glacier National Park views). Speaking of Glacier National Park, it's only 45 minutes away from Whitefish! Don't miss the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! You'll also want to take advantage of the Whitefish Trail system with 43 miles of hiking & biking trails, as well as great restaurants, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, a train museum, golf courses and local events such as Huckleberry Days, farmer's markets, rodeos and Under the Big Sky music festival!

Getting around Whitefish and to Whitefish Mountain Resort is a breeze with the FREE snow bus! The snow bus is a free shuttle service during peak winter and summer seasons. There are stops all around town and on the mountain. Whitefish also has Uber, Lyft and Taxis.

Mid-stay cleanings are required for all reservations longer than 36 days. The first mid-stay clean is automatically included when you make your reservation. If your reservation requires more than one mid-stay clean, our Guest Service Team will reach out to collect the additional fees. Stay Montana will coordinate a day and time for these mid-stay cleans to occur to keep the loft clean and fresh for the duration of your stay.
