If you’re looking for a great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood by the coast for a large family, this is it. The booking was easy and communication was great. I recommend this home. We were a family of 8 and had more than enough room. Amenities were great. Grill, games and access to a private pier.

Outstanding Stay

I was very impressed with the property and all the amenities. The host went above and beyond to meet all our needs. We didn't want for anything. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances. The bathroom was well stock with soap and towels. The beds slept great. There was nothing we needed that wasn't provided at the house. All of our family was impressed and enjoyed their time. It was very spacious and very relaxing. I will definitely recommend this location and hopefully be able to rent again.

Vacation/dance competition

Communication with the owner was extremely easy!! She was 1st rate!!! The fan on the patio went out & Jenny was quick to respond & have someone come replace it. The house was very comfortable and updated, even the kitchen appliances--blender, air fryer & Keurig duo coffee maker were awesome!!! The screened in porch was great especially early morning & evening when mosquitoes were out!!!! Our group of 8 had no issues in bed space & we easily maneuvered between the 2 bathrooms - and the master shower was amazing!! We would definitely stay here again even if we're not in Galveston for a dance competition.

Beautiful relaxing Bay/Beach House

The house was above and beyond our expectations. Great quiet location. Very spacious with all the amenities we could need. Jenny was exceptional and answered all of our questions throughout our stay with a quick response. We were greeted with a sweet welcome note and bottle of wine, what a great way to start our stay. We had 9 adults and 2 kids, and the space and location was perfect. We rented kayaks with easy access to the bay. We would ride bikes, that we brought, around the neighborhood and down to the beach. The beach was an easy drive or walk away. Enjoyed my mornings running along the beach. It was a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Galveston, but an easy 25min drive to get to the pier and shopping. We were able to easily enjoy both aspects of the area. The house was super clean and had all the necessities that we needed. If we had questions or couldn't find something, Jenny responded quickly or even accommodated. For example, the cleaning lady forgot to leave extra towels, and Jenny ordered some on Amazon to quickly arrive. I highly recommend the location, house and renting with Jenny.

So much of what you might need was there. A Tv in each room, internet, a working laundry, outside grill, just so many conveniences. The owner was available, but fortunately we didn't even have to contact her once we were there. Everything you could ask for in a great stay near the beach.

The overall appearance of the house was unkept on the outside. There was also major issues with the electricity. If you ran the microwave or dryer (any appliances), the lights would dim and flicker until they were turned off. For the high price of the house, you would think that the house would be comparable to others in the area. However, it was not. We were also inconvenienced by a police visit within the first few hours of our stay. Apparently the landlord and police discussed the importance of the removal of trash cans, but the owner did not move them. Dealing with someone else’s issues with the police is not a great way to start your family vacation.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. The electrical issue you experienced was the result of an unexpected problem with the utility service provided by CenterPoint Energy, not the home’s electrical system. Once we became aware of the issue, we immediately contacted CenterPoint, and the problem has since been fully repaired and resolved. Regarding the city Marshal’s visit, it was related to a routine city code enforcement matter concerning trash placement and was not a safety or criminal issue. We had already arranged for a private trash service to collect the bins, and the matter has since been addressed. We appreciate your comments and are committed to providing a comfortable experience for all future guests.
