Come relax in Alpine AZ, and stay in this quaint, rustic cabin along the famous Coronado Trail. The Coronado Trail Cabins have been newly remodeled for a comfortable and inviting stay. They are beautifully situated on 5 acres surrounded by tall pines where you can enjoy wild life sight seeings. The grounds offer a common fire pit area for an enjoyable night with friends and family. Enjoy the outdoor gathering place on site or get out and explore the nearby trails and outdoors.
The space
Rustic Charm Cabin is 1 of 5 cabins that are scattered among 5 acres of tall pines where each cabin is situated in its own little locale with plenty of space in between each cabin. The cabin is studio style and features 2 full beds, a kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with 2 arm chairs for relaxing. The kitchen provides a stove/oven, fridge, and microwave. A coffee maker and filters are also provided, just bring your favorite coffee! The kitchen provides minimal cookware, such as pots, mixing bowls, plates, cups and mugs, silverware, and cooking utensils.

We were scheduled to check in on July 2 but requested to arrive one day early, and the property accommodated that request. Unfortunately, that was one of the few positives.The first cabin had a toilet that ran on and off all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. When we reported it, the cleaning staff admitted they already knew about the problem. If management was aware, there is no excuse for renting the cabin without repairing it first.The second cabin had outdated electrical service. The kitchen only had a limited number of usable three-prong outlets, with an extension cord draped across the window and down near the stove. Running more than one appliance repeatedly tripped the breaker. The bathroom also contained heat-lamp bulbs installed in a standard light fixture, producing excessive heat and creating an uncomfortable environment.We intentionally brought food to cook because the property advertised a grill. We were told it was a charcoal grill and that Stage 1 fire restrictions would allow its use. After arriving, the general store informed us that no fires of any kind were permitted. The local fire station confirmed that information. Because of the inaccurate information provided by management, we had to drive to Springerville and spend approximately 100 on a portable propane grill and tank just to prepare the food we had brought.The listing stated that pets were welcome, but there was no clear disclosure of a 60 pet fee during booking. Hi Ray, Sorry that your stay at our property wasn't a good fit for either of us. During your stay we had 2 other guests complain about you and your company, which is crazy, because I've never even had 1 complaint about a guest from another guest, let alone 2! I then had to contact your party to ask you to please abide by the rules. VRBO gave me the option of making you leave the cabin, but I decided to let you stay as it was the 4th of July. You could have also left, and I would have been happy to refund you if it wasn't working for you, but you chose to stay 5 nights! The first complaint was because of your dog. If you would have been honest when you made your booking and checked 'I am traveling with pets', it would have added the pet fee to your booking. I don't know how to be more clear. The second complaint was about the manner in which you were driving your UTV within the cabin park, even though it's in the house rules and there are signs posted- 5MPH, and no UTV's to be driven in the park. Next, it seems you may have forgot about the phone conversation we had BEFORE you arrived at the cabin about stage 1 fire restrictions. Carolyn said she would bring an outdoor electric grill, and that wasn't an issue, so unless your electric grill wasn't working, I don't know why you chose to go to Springerville. Lastly, the condition in which you left the cabin with large black stains on the bedding, and dirty dishes all over was a treat! The charge back of your stay with your credit card company is wild! Wishing you the best!

Fabulous!!

We enjoyed the little cabin. It was just perfect for us. If you do not like hard beds, bring something to soften the beds.

Cute place but it needs some help in the kitchen area. And it’s not the owner’s fault but VRBO is a pain to deal with. Probably won’t be getting a vacation spot through VRBO ever again. Communist HARD and I do not want the app. So I’m DONE

Cute Little Cabin!

Very quiet park, clean little cabin. We had a great weekend! Courtney was great and responded so quickly to any of our questions. We will definitely be back.

Rustic cabin in the woods

The property is rustic and nice but has no TV. The owners are nice and responsive. VRBO on the other hand just lost my business with a significant add on charge or a damage insurance policy for the same amount... Neither we nor our dog have ever done any damage and I feel like we are being forced to subsidize younger renters who are holding parties and damaging property.. We have traveled a great deal and this is a new unwelcome first for us. Be aware that the amount charged with all the add ons is far greater than the amount advertised.

Thanks for the review Kenneth! TV's may be an accommodation in the future if we can get better internet coverage in the area. Also, VRBO gives us maximum exposure and has been great to work with as a host. I am sorry if you feel the fees are too much as a guest. We are working on a website of our own to give our guests options of how they book, but will continue to work with VRBO for those guests that like this option. Happy traveling!

Come stay in the cool pines of Alpine Arizona, where you can cozy up and relax in your own snug country haven. Wake up an enjoy your morning coffee out front while looking for wildlife in the crisp morning air. After an early hike or fishing trip don't forget to take in the sights and smells of a good afternoon rain. Enjoy the outdoor gathering area on site or get out and explore the surrounding areas while coming back to the cabin for a warm shower and a home cooked meal. The lamps in the cabin give just the right ambience to wind down after the day and enjoy good conversation with family and friends.

Newly remodeled with just the right amount of rustic charm to give you that country cozy feeling. Some of the only, if not the only, little cabins left to still be situated in the tall pines and have an outdoor gathering area with a fire pit for the ultimate cabin experience.
