Wake up to the elk enjoying their breakfast, the turkeys trotting, or the buck surveying his kingdom, all common occurrences here at the cabin! This romantic gem amongst the Swan Mountain range sits on 19 acres, it abuts State and Federal land. From this 4,600 ft. altitude property you can access the renowned Strawberry Lake Trail which also connects to the Jewel Basin and the Alpine Trail 7. Leave the buzz of the city behind and come enjoy the tranquil serenity of Heaven on Earth. Please note, the road is a forest service road. It is dirt. We do not have any control over it’s condition. We recommend a AWD or 4WD vehicle in the winter.

Quaint little cabin, perfect for a getaway away from it all. Close to all the sites you want to see, but away from the crowds. We had a wonderful time!

It rained every day during our stay and that didn't dampen our spirits or fun one bit. We saw bears, deer, turkeys, and a host of other interesting birds. The view from the cabin was amazing, even better than what any photo could show. Everything we needed was there, and the location is convenient to Bigfork and surrounding sites. Love the place and look forward to returning.

Great little cabin

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was convenient for all of the places we wanted to visit on our short trip. Really appreciated the heads up on places to eat and shop.

This was a super cozy cabin! Our host, Heather was quick to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed the location as it was equal distance to Big Fork and Kalispell. We spent a whole day at Glacier National Park and spent a lot of our time hiking to different lakes and trails with our two Labradors. Overall a great place to stay!

Sweet Cabin

We loved our stay at this little cabin. Very clean, with an awesome view. The bed is extremely comfortable! Everything was just as the photos show. Check in so smooth and having the air conditioner on for our arrival was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

As advertised this place has wonderful views. It was a great place to watch 4th of July fireworks from a distance and see all the different firework shows. However, I booked this cabin as a midpoint in a 4 week roadtrip specifically because it was advertised as having WiFi and laundry so I thought it would be a good place to reset, get a little work done, and recoup in a place that feels remote. When we got here we found out there is no WiFi and no laundry. When I brought this up to the host she said that I could use my cell network as an hotspot and directed me to laundromats in the nearby town. An acknowledgment, apology, or some kind of accountability on the inaccuracy of the listing would have been nice. So all in all this place gets a 3 for inaccuracy and poor communication while also having amazing views and offering a quiet and private getaway. As a side note the AC unit is small and loud and cannot keep up with 80 degree weather.

Hi Anais, Thanks for your review. I’m sorry that you were expecting WiFi and laundry. We have never advertised as having these amenities nor have we ever had anyone ask for them. This is a 280 sq/ft cabin in the mountains of Montana and we have great cell service up there. The ac unit is meant to cover 1000 sq/ft and does a fine job of cooling the cabin within minutes. It also cools into the 50’s at night and if you prefer fresh air the wind starts blowing the minute the sun goes down so opening the windows works wonders. I believe we did a great job letting you know where you could wash your clothes.

Amazing Experience with Awesome View

Great stay at Heather’s cabin! The view is awesome and the property was clean and comfortable. Heather left lots of little touches for us like fresh honeycomb and eggs that were delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Great hidden cabin

Beautiful little cabin in the forest/mountains. We wanted a cabin away from the main road with nice views and close to hiking. This cabin had all of those things, so we booked it. The host was very responsive anytime we had a question, and we would have loved to stay longer. The road to the cabin was **bumpy** but our sedan rental car did surprisingly fine. Would stay there again for sure.

Perfect secluded getaway

The property is amazing and very homey. We enjoyed the patio/deck area every evening, enjoying the great view of the sun setting over the mountains. On the roads to the cabin we saw plenty of wildlife, so there's a good chance of seeing things near the cabin! The last mile that leads to the property is a little rough, but it's worth it!

Cozy cabin

Great little cabin for 2 with great views into the Flathead valley - can even see Flathead Lake in the distance from the deck. Only improvement it needs is a better walkway from the parking area to the cabin, but thats a minor thing compared to the cabin and location. Heather responded quickly to us when we messaged her.

Incredible view and secluded feeling

We loved the peacefulness of this propery, being located up on a mountain and surrounded by trees. This house had everything we needed to be able to just stay put and relax for a few days. The kitchen was handy, with a fully functioning oven/stove and a mini-fridge. We loved our stay! The only reason I marked it 4/5 stars for accuracy of listing is that the "king" bed was actually two twin beds pushed together. Wasn't too much of an issue for us, but there would be somewhat of a divide between the beds by the morning.

We had a lovely stay during our trip to Glacier National Park. While there were other options closer to GNP, we wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else! The cabin was quiet, cozy, clean and had everything we needed for a week long stay. Great views and a great place to stay!

Charming Cabin
