Everything about this cabin is great except the tub. The bed is incredibly comfortable, with multiple types of pillows and blankets with different textures - definitely honeymoon worthy. The couch is comfy with good pillows and blankets (TV is a bit high but there's not a better placement in a little cabin), the kitchen is fine, the heating/AC was great even in multiple temperatures across our stay and it's close enough to town to be relatively convenient. But the water in the tub is straight up yellow and gross so if you want to be able to soak, I don't recommend this listing. Other reviews mentioned this as well so I know this wasn't just a one-off, unfortunately.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was wonderful and seeing wildlife in the morning was great! It was close enough to Eureka Springs to be convenient but far enough for the privacy we wanted.

The cabin is cozy and tucked out of the way, so you are able to find peace and quiet. Although our weekend hiking plans came with rainy weather, we still had a great time. The cabin is warm and inviting. The fireplace, furniture and wood walls create a relaxing environment. The kitchen is well-equipped and the outdoor grill and fire pit are perfect for just relaxing and spending time with family or friends.

The first thing you notice is how immaculate the cabin is—styled with great thought and care—and how CLEAN it smelled. Doesn’t matter how nice something looks, if it smells, it’s going to kill the experience. The king size bed and pillows felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. We had A/C and heat and access to a Roku TV with wifi. The host instructions were timely and thorough. We had a fantastic extended weekend for my teacher bestie’s wedding at the Thorncrown Chapel—only 10 minutes from the cabin. And if you like fish, we highly recommend eating at The Angler’s restaurant. So fresh and delicious.

Our stay at Hoot Owl Cabin was very peaceful and quiet. We were only 15 to 20 minutes away from the busy downtown area, which was why we had such peacefulness. The cabin itself was well kept and very comfortable. This was an excellent trip to Eureka Springs to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!! Thank you to the owners of this cabin for opening up your property to all of us who choose to visit this area.

Great spot to stay! Hoot Owl cabin is very cozy and had all the necessities to make it a great stay. The perfect size for my wife and two children. Saw a couple deer walk right through the property. Conviently located close to Eureka Springs, Branson, Springfield and many attractions in that area. The hosts were always very helpful and available through the entire process. Would recommend staying.

Exactly as listed and it’s perfect

This cabin is absolutely perfect! Less than 20 min drive to downtown but it feels like you are very secluded which we loved. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Kitchen has all the essentials! We appreciated the grill, fire pit and covered outdoor area during the rainy days! Will def stay again.

Cabin in the woods

The cabin was really cute. Decorated and furnished well. The beds along with bed linen were extremely cozy and comfortable. The couch was wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking stuff. The description for accommodation lists jacuzzi tub as well as hot tub there was no hot tub, kiddo was super bummed about no hot tub. The water in the jacuzzi had a yellowing color. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

Just what I needed

I absolutely loved my stay at the Hoot Owl Cabin. I needed to get away for a few nights and enjoy some peace and quiet. I loved the cabin (very clean and had everything needed). I took my dogs with me and they loved going to the Lake and hiking during the day. Perfect stay! I will be back

Great little cabin

Very Clean and cozy - great location near Eureka Springs! We did the Devil’s Eyebrow trail just 10 min to the West. We also built a fire two evenings and roasted s’mores. Great trip

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils so that we could stay in and make dinner. We had a good time finding local trails to walk on. and it was always nice to come back to the cabin and get the fireplace going while watching a movie and playing games at night! A very nice and relaxing stay.

Quiet & Quaint

The Hoot Owl Cabin is a quiet & quaint cabin nestled in the trees. It is perfect for our little weekend get-away. All the pictures are exactly what it looks like. The host were very nice & quick to reply when we contacted them. We saw deer & even heard a Hoot Owl while there. The name of the cabin is a perfect fit. Highly recommend this cabin.

Great relaxing stay

Had a wonderful time. It rained while we were there and sound on the roof was very peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loved the toy bucket and walking the treeline. The kitchen was nicely equipped. We absolutely loved the fire pit and would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was quiet and secluded, which was just what we wanted. Owner was responsive and accommodating. A lovely place and we highly recommend!

Matt and Dianne live in Texas however Dianne grew up Arkansas. We spend our days with our kids' activities, with football and horseback riding, our chickens and dogs.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

Dianne grew up in Northeast Arkansas and spent much of her childhood traveling all over the state. Knowing the beauty that NWA offers it was a no brainer to purchase Hoot Owl Cabin and share the experience with others. Living in a city, we thrive on getting away from city life to make time to relax and listen to nature that is offered at Hoot Owl Cabin.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Originally a paper tarp house built in the 1800s, Hoot Owl Cabin holds a rich and intriguing history. The Spaniards were known to hunt from the rafters of this cabin, and rumor has it that treasures are buried around the property.

In the late 1900s, the cabin was transformed into a functional and habitable home for a family to live in. Our street boasts only five homes, each nestled so uniquely that you have to look hard to see the neighbors.

The constant presence of wildlife 24/7 is a beautiful reminder of what this property and our earth have to offer. Being away from the busy traffic of downtown Eureka Springs is a constant reminder of why we love Hoot Owl Cabin. It's a perfect blend of history, nature, and serenity.
