Luxury 4-Bed Designer Home in Decatur — Minutes to Atlanta
Welcome to your stylish retreat in historic Decatur — a spacious, newly renovated home designed with families, large groups, and business travelers in mind. Nestled on a quiet street just minutes from Atlanta’s top attractions, this property combines modern luxury with warm, inviting comfort.
Step inside to an open-concept living space where sunlight pours in through wide windows. The living room flows into the dining and kitchen area, creating the perfect setting for gathering over dinner, a glass of wine, or a favorite show on the sofa after a day exploring Atlanta.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and conversation — with pots, pans, cutlery, baking sheets, and pantry basics. A fresh pot of coffee or tea awaits each morning, setting the tone for your adventures ahead.
Slide open the doors to your private backyard patio — a tree-filled oasis ideal for morning yoga, quiet reading, or evening drinks under the stars.
Retreat to one of four thoughtfully designed bedrooms. The main master suite features a king bed with ultra-soft linens, a private deck, and a spa-like bathroom with a standalone tub. A second master offers another king bed with its own half bath and desk space. Additional bedrooms provide both comfort and flexibility, with twin beds and a full bed for families and groups. Each room is appointed with plush bedding, 4K TVs, and workspaces when you need them.
Practical touches — including a large laundry room and parking for up to two cars in the carport — make extended stays easy and comfortable.
From this central location, you’re minutes from Emory, Agnes Scott College, downtown Decatur’s restaurants and shops, and only 15 minutes to downtown Atlanta landmarks like Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Georgia Aquarium. Midtown and Georgia Tech are just a short drive away, and the airport is 20 minutes from your door.
We recommend renting a car to enjoy the best of the city, though rideshare services are also readily available.
As locals living just down the street, we take pride in sharing this home with you and ensuring your stay is seamless.

Wow - what a great surprise! This is a beautiful, comfortable home with a fantastic kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and linens, a wonderful living/dining space as well as an outdoor deck with a table, chairs and umbrella facing a beautiful back yard. The property was absolutely spotless and it was easy to settle in and find our way around. This house is all on one level, and the primary bedroom shower is both huge and modern, as well as having a bench seat and an easy/safe walk-in just a small step into the shower - so for anyone with mobility issues or recovering from an injury, this house is a lifesaver. And it is incredibly peaceful and quiet at night for sleeping. For Emory families (or new families coming to visit), its less than 2 miles to campus and wonderfully convenient. Michael was a wonderful and thoughtful host, very communicative with clear instructions for checkin/ checkout - much appreciated! We couldn't have been happier with staying here for a special Emory occasion. Highly, highly recommend - nothing like this house in the area!! Fantastic visit!!

Super clean, very nicely renovated home. Very close to everything, and it made our trip even better since we all had our own rooms and space after long days at the zoo, aquarium, and Fernbank. Owner/Manager very attentive and wonderful to work with.

Wonderful family stay
This home looks exactly like the photos and the host was wonderfully responsive to any and all questions. No complaints whatsoever. My extended family stayed here for the weekend (in town for a Tech game/parent weekend) and it was super comfortable for all age groups. The outdoor space was great and the home was very clean. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in town!

I’m a proud University of Georgia grad (Go Dawgs!!!) and also studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Virginia. After school, I moved to Atlanta and worked in finance for several years before discovering my true passion: hosting.
I started back in 2015 by renting out a spare bedroom, which quickly grew into remodeling a basement and eventually helping friends and family design their own vacation homes. What began as a side project turned into Host This Home in 2018, where I now get to focus full-time on creating comfortable, memorable spaces for travelers.
I also serve as Treasurer for the Atlanta Metro Short-Term Rental Association, where I work with other hosts to keep Atlanta’s short-term rental community strong and welcoming.
When you stay with me, my goal is simple: to make you feel right at home while enjoying everything our city has to offer.

I fell in love with this home’s location long before we renovated it — tucked away on a serene, leafy street in historic Decatur, it feels like a quiet retreat yet is so remarkably close to everything that matters in Atlanta.
Just minutes from Emory University, our neighborhood is perfect for families or visitors with ties to the school. A short drive brings you to downtown Decatur — a walkable, vibrant area filled with unique restaurants, cozy cafés, local shops, and the charming campus of Agnes Scott College.
If you're craving big-city thrills, downtown Atlanta is only about 15 minutes away, giving you easy access to the stadiums, museums, and nightlife. Midtown and Georgia Tech are within comfortable reach too, so business travelers or concertgoers will appreciate the convenience.
This spot gives you the best of both worlds: a peaceful, homey feel by night, and the energy of Atlanta just moments away.

What makes this home unique is the way it blends modern luxury with a true neighborhood feel. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a space designed for connection, comfort, and retreat. From the moment you step inside, the open floor plan creates a natural flow between living, dining, and kitchen areas, making it easy for families and groups to gather. The master suite feels like a private spa, with its standalone soaking tub and private deck overlooking the trees. Guests often fall in love with the spacious back patio — a quiet, leafy oasis perfect for morning coffee, yoga, or an evening glass of wine under the stars.
Unlike many rentals, this home sits on a peaceful street in historic Decatur, just minutes from Atlanta’s top destinations. That balance of serenity and convenience is what sets it apart. It’s the rare property where you can enjoy the energy of the city during the day, then return to a restful, beautifully designed space at night. With thoughtful touches throughout — from luxe bedding and smart TVs in every bedroom to a fully equipped kitchen and generous laundry space — this home offers more than accommodation; it offers an experience of living well while being close to everything Atlanta has to offer.
