{Forget-Me-Not Inn} (Eagle Suite) Vacation Rentals is a beautiful waterfront vacation rental property in Sitka, Alaska. This one-bedroom apartment has the most stunning views! During your stay, you can admire the breath-taking view of the beach as you listen to relaxing ocean waves. Spot wildlife, see serene sunsets, and enjoy all of the beauty that Alaska has to offer from right outside your windows! If you're looking for an unforgettable view for your Alaskan adventure, this is the perfect place.

This one-bedroom unit is equipped with a small kitchen, equipped with a convection-oven microwave, stove-top burners, Keurig coffeee machine, etc. There's a huge 65" Smart TV to stream your favorite shows in the living room, with a Queen size sleeper sofa. A 50" screen TV in the bedroom, with a Queen size Sealy Hybrid bed. The bathroom has a shower stall, as well as wall-mounted mirror and hair dryer. All of the linens, towels, kitchen accessories, etc, are all provided. There's parking included, as well as laundry on site. And free Wifi!

This place was awesome and had one of the best views in Sitka. Very clean, tidy and cool with the ocean breeze. A rental car is ideal to have since it’s a little way from town. Would stay here again!

Great place

This is a great little place to rest and watch the water! Nothing fancy which is how we like it. We watched otters for hours out the window overlooking the bay, eagles flying by and many boats cruising around. We would definitely stay here again.

Great ocean view. Lots of eagles to entertain you. Apartment is quite nice and washer dryer access was super nice. We had a great time here. Location was perfect for us. Highly recommend.

Room with a beautiful view

We came to Sitka to visit our daughter, who is working there over this summer. We could not have asked for a better location. The room was very clean and had an amazing view!! If we ever have the opportunity to visit again, we would definitely re-book!

Great Place but Poor Communication

The place is great, very clean and even a bit larger than I expected. The views were absolutely spectacular. You will need a car if you stay here as it is a bit out of town. Plenty of parking. Only negative was the poor communication from the owner regarding check-in. I tried for about a week ahead of time to get the information and only after I contacted VRBO and they contacted the owner did they finally get back to me. Hopefully the owner can improve this because otherwise a fantastic place to stay.

Had a great stay here, the ocean view was amazing and saw a lot of wildlife, just wish we had binoculars! The "beach" below was fun to climb around on and check out the tide pools. There is very little actual sand, mostly rock. Everything inside was pretty clean and readily available for use.

Everything you could wish for!

We loved this quiet location with a beautiful view! The place was clean, bedding was great and kitchen stocked with all the necessities. Access to the laundry came in handy too! The host was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. You will want to get a car as cabs are sparse and it’s a bit out of town but it’s worth it for such a lovely situation and the freedom to explore a little farther in this iconic Alaskan community!

Sitka pre-cruise stay

Rooms great, shower unsafe, no handle. Commute to town difficult to impossible. Cruise ship passengers use all available cabs. View of bay incredible with eagles flying by and whales showing off

Nicer than expected. Blackout curtains in bedroom. Good size. Open the window to listen to the waves crash against the rocks in the evening. Laundry facilities on base level with complimentary soap/etc. Plenty of parking. Park nearby that's a short 3/4 mile walk. lots of eagles, both in the property (non-living) and outside (living).

Best place to stay in Sitka!

What a wonderful VRBO! My husband and I absolutely LOVED staying in the Eagle Suite and watching bald eagles, ravens, otters, fish, and more right outside our window! If we wanted a better look, we just went outside and explored. Forget-Me-Not is about a 12min drive from downtown Sitka so you get to see and hear more wild life away from the cruise crowd. The Eagle Suite was pristine inside and had everything we needed for 5 days, including a full fridge. The bed was super comfortable and TV was huge! We rarely watched it though because we preferred to stare at the beauty right outside the panoramic living room window. More over, our flight got canceled the night before we had to leave and the owner called me personally to make sure we would not end up without a place to stay. She was sooo kind! We will totally stay at Forget-Me-Not again next time we are in Sitka!

The view from the Eagle suite is stunning from the second floor of the building. The laundry room is very clean and convenient with complimentary soaps. The rooms are spotlessly clean, big fluffy white towels and nice bathroom countertop area. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast and coffee amenities were greatly appreciated. We were sad that we could not see the view from the sofa as the room is not arranged for the view. There is not enough seating in the suite for more than two occupants. The walls are paper thin so you can hear the other guest’s activity, and the traffic noise from the highway right outside the bedroom window is loud. There are no towel bars in the bathroom to dry those fluffy towels and the door is very squeaky. Also we could not locate easy access to the beach directly behind the inn. We did not receive instructions to operate the heater/electric fireplace nor did we know we could not operate the microwave and heater at the same time. There was not enough hot water for our showers.

Better than advertised

Photos don't do the view/property justice. Was very clean inside and plenty of useful ammenities (Keurig/washer dryer/dishes/wifi/etc). Has huge flatscreen TV but we actually never turned it on bc the view was so epic. Eagles/sea lions/otters/salmon galore. Really nice restaurant right across the street (Channel Club). Only minor wishlist item would be to be able to control heat from within the unit (we are warm blooded Hawaiians so 60 deg is cold:). Communication was great and they even let us late check out without any problems when our flight was canceled unexpectedly. HIGHLY recommend. Will be staying here again for our next trip.

Very Relaxing

The property is as described and the views are even better. Quiet place just outside of town, easy to access, and the wildlife in abundance is a plus. The new owner is a delight and communicates very well. I recommend this property above all others in Sitka.
