The unit can use a deep clean. On the surface it looks appealing. The kitchen has all the basic necessities. The beach / ocean view is truly breath taking. For your beach and park visits, it is fully equipped. The A/C must be older as it doesn’t work real efficiently. We made adjustments, keeping the shades pulled down, using the floor fan continually, and were warm most of the time. The biggest issue we had to deal with was not with the unit itself but with the elevators that service all ten floors. One was non working the entire 2 weeks and the other kept breaking down. While we acknowledge that the listing says the realty company is “not responsible for mechanical failures to any common elements on the property” you also shouldn’t expect any help with a resolution. The condo office insists that you have to contact the realty company you rented throughand the realty company insists that they aren’t responsible to do anything. For people with a disability this can be an impossible situation. We were also told that the listing does not say it is handicap accessible but it is not an unreasonable expectation that a unit on the 9th floor would be. In review, the view, the aesthetics, and what it is equipped with are the pluses. The age of the building with its A/C and elevator system to support ten floors are not working their best. You have to weigh out how important those items are to you.

We understand how frustrating the elevator situation must have been, especially during an extended stay. Great Location, AMAZING VIEW!

Everything was as described, but the view, WOW, it doesn't get any better. We saw dozens of whales each day from the lanai. Also, check out the food trucks just a few minute walk from the condo.

The unit was as nice as advertised. Magnificent oceanfront view with access to the beach. Very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Having the beach cart, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, beach towels and swim fins were an unexpected surprise!Know that the a/c thermostat can only be set as low as 74, but the unit included multiple fans that you could place as desired. If you want a nice, quiet place in a great location, this is it. So many of the nearby properties are very large, and Maui Kai is the perfect place if you want a smaller property with a short walk to the pool, beach or parking.

Great place in Ka’anapali

Newly remodeled, clean, very nice corner unit condo with an unbeatable oceanfront (almost in the ocean) view. Islands visible to the west, perfect sunsets every night. And the snorkeling on the beaches immediately to the right and left of the condo is a green sea turtle paradise.close proximity to food, food trucks, shopping, and adjacent areas like Napili Bay and Honolua Bay. We will absolutely plan our next visit to Maui when this place is available.

Amazing view

Anniversary

Very relaxing and view and sunsets gorgeous. Low tide at 1000 hrs with turtles was amazing.

From sunsets to turtle visits, this condo offers it all and is why it is such a highly sought after unit. This one bedroom, one bathroom features new furnishings and upgrades throughout. The central location makes dining, shopping and activity excursions very convenient. Located on the famous Kaanapali Beach strip, there is amazing stretch of beach to experience great snorkeling and swimming. Just a short drive away is world famous Napili Bay and Whalers Village for shopping and dining experiences. We do our best to provide all the home away from home feels for our guests and provide the Aloha Spirit to enhance our guests Maui vacation. A Hui Hou (until we meet again), Mahalo Nui Loa

You cannot go wrong staying here. The decor and ambiance inside was so welcoming and beautiful. The views were spectacular. Do yourself a favor and book this spot. It will definitely be our go to when staying in Maui. It was our first time in Hawaii and everything was smooth from the start. Love, love, love it here!

Clear views in Kaanapali

My partner and I truly enjoyed our stay in this unit. The views of the coast line up to Kapalua, the neighboring islands and the turtles swimming around were all fantastic to see while drinking coffee and having dinner on the lanai. Bring your snorkel gear because right out front of the building there is a lot to see. Highly recommend staying here.
