My husband and I rented the cabin for a week and it was a perfect home-base for our family reunion in Craryville. We also had a guest and her young daughter for a few days and it was very comfortable for the four of us - we much appreciated the building blocks and games! We cooked, had guests for dinner and very much appreciated the filtered water in the fridge door and the sink, strong air conditioning, and quiet evenings. With a little one, it was also great having the new washer & dryer. I loved sitting on the front porch watching it rain one afternoon - so peaceful! Located off of route 22 and walking distance to the Rail Trail, bike rentals and soft-serve ice cream across the road from a swimming hole - it was very convenient. A few nearby shout-outs that made our visit even better - picture from a boat ride on Copake Lake which is only 6-miles away, another picture of the inventory at the Copake General Store (3-miles down route 22) they have amazing produce, fresh bakery items each morning and a great selection of freezer and shelf staples (opens at 9AM, closed on Mondays). Finally, we enjoyed the restored Parker House (circa 1893) in Craryville for dinner with family twice - they were able to accommodate 8 and 10 people respectively. Great service, burgers, wings, scallops, Brussels and salads!
