Our colorful, lively 3 bed, 1 bathroom, 1 outdoor shower, solar powered house is located in the hip, artistic Santurce neighborhood; the heartbeat of the island. 4 AC Units including 1 in each bedroom. Less than a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the BEACH (that's 1 mile away!), and less than 1 mile to the famous nightlife of La Placita, Calle Loiza, downtown Santurce, Ocean Park, Isla Verde & Old San Juan. These vibrant colorful streets are filled with local art, murals and historic buildings dating from the 1500s. Less than 10 minutes from airport SJU! We know you will enjoy our happy, colorful home on Isla del Encanto!

We had such an amazing experience!! It is a beautiful decorated house, very comfortable and with more items that you’ll ever need.Only issue is if you decide to rent a car, parking is not very accessible and you will need to park on the side streets. The streets can get very packed as that’s where the cars for those house park. The right side of the house is easier as the other side is very tight and has more house.Our hosts were more than accommodating, had some snacks for us, and were amazing! Absolutely recommend and if I return to San Juan, I will definitely stay there.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming San Juan property! From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were incredibly responsive, provided excellent local recommendations, and truly made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our entire visit.The house itself is absolutely adorable – beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The location couldn't be better! We were able to walk to so many amazing restaurants, cafes, and attractions. Being within walking distance of the hot spots meant we could easily explore the vibrant neighborhood without worrying about transportation. It was the perfect home base for our San Juan adventure.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting San Juan. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Wonderful!!!!

Great house, very clean!!!, multiple AC units and fans, short drive to airport, beaches, old San Juan, full of character, and more! Parking in side streets took practice but doable. The whole family (3 generations) loved this house!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom home in San Juan! The house was spacious, clean, and exactly as described in the listing. Each bedroom was comfortable and well-appointed, and the common areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.Highly recommend this place for families or groups of 3 looking for something other than a high-rise stay or apartment in Puerto Rico.

Breather in Santurce

Amazing time we had in San Juan. Santurce was super fun and fun. Really close to a lot of places we visited (Calle Loiza, Old San Kuan, Condido, Isle Verde, Loiza). We rented a car so it was easy to get around. Carrie and Ryan and baby Nolan were great hosts even leaving us the kindest note and dulces. My personal favorite part was the outside shower. Their home was neat and clean., Everything was so great and perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

Best Birthday Ever !

I absolutely fell in love with this house the moment I laid eyes on it ! The amount of creativity and personality this house has inside and out is amazing . So much art and funny signs that made me smile or laugh everyday . This house had EVERYTHING we needed and as someone who loves to clean and is OCD it made me so happy to see all the cleaning supplies the house came with including beach items . I didn’t have to buy much but food . Location wise this house is super convenient you can walk or take a quick 5-10 minute Uber to a lot of locations such as Calle Loiza (amazing breakfast spots) . I also felt very safe my whole stay here the neighborhood is very friendly and if you have any question people are more then happy to help . Thank you again my amazing host for being so thoughtful and always communicating back .I will definitely be booking this house again !! See you guys soon

Great place!

We had such a wonderful time at this home! It was immaculately clean and stocked with everything we needed, from household essentials to beach gear, making our stay so convenient and stress-free. The neighborhood was vibrant and easily walkable, with a couple of corner stores, local restaurants (check out El Huevo for breakfast/brunch you won't be disappointed!), and even a bar just a 5-minute walk away (and yes, $5 drinks!). The area itself is lively, with locals playing music throughout the day, which added a fun cultural vibe. Thankfully, the noise usually quieted down just in time for bed, so it didn’t interfere with our rest. The house was exactly as shown in the photos—absolutely adorable and thoughtfully decorated. A quick note: the avocado bedroom does not have AC but does include two fans, and if you keep the door open to the living room, it stays comfortably cool. Parking was a bit tricky to find, but that seemed to be a common theme throughout the island, so just a heads-up if you’re planning to drive. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend this gem if you’re looking for a great mix of comfort, convenience, and local flavor!

Great Location, VERY load area & NO Parking

The house is very cute. Floors were dirty upon arrival. It's right in-between a mechanic shop that starts working and making noise right at 7am and a store/bar that plays load music until early in the morning (about 2 or 3am). Listing stats there's AC but its not in all rooms. There is AC in the living area and 1 of the 3 rooms. The other rooms where very hot and uncomfortable. There is absolutely no parking for this home. Listing says you can on the side streets. Those are all blocked off (locals put cones or trash cans to save parking for themselves)and for the people that their houses are on that street. We were left a note from one resident telling us not to park there and another day one resident came out when I went to get the car and started harassing me about parking in front of her home. All in all its in a great area but it's very load & if you have a rental pick another place because its going to be a hassle. We noticed our moods would change when we were getting back to the house because of the parking situation... not knowing if someone was going to waiting for us to harass us about parking there.

Exactly as advertised!

If you’re looking for a unique, Puerto Rican flavored, clean, three bedroom, nicely stocked kitchen home, well this is it. My family didn’t want to stay in the sterile American resort area. We wanted to get a truer feel of Puerto Rico. The neighborhood is older and one of the poorer In the city, but we always felt safe even with our two young beautiful daughters. The only negative of the home is the street in front that can be very loud at night. I would use the fans in the middle bedroom closet as white noise mostly for the front bedroom, which is closest to the street. For our week there, we rented a car and traveled all over the island. We found the people be extremely kind and hospitable.

La casita Verde

My family & I stayed here it was a group of 5 . They had everything we needed . Sunscreen , towels , water . Gave us complimentary Jell-O shots they were amazing along with a six pack of beer . Everything was very clean . The two rooms towards the back were very hot no AC units in them but we bought fans for both rooms & it was fine . Parking was alittle difficult to find but we made it work . Would definitely recommend anyone to book here . Can’t wait to come back . Everything was very close to us . 10/10 experience.

Getting real in San Juan, PR

The perfect place to land for our adventurous, long weekend! The colorful green house is super tidy, well appointed and just as cheerful as advertised. Centrally located to all of our activities (rainforest, beach and Old San Juan), it was a pleasure to be immersed in an area that was more genuine to experiencing Puerto Rico rather than a sterile resort area. Just a note for light sleepers - the house sits close to a busy city street and sometimes vehicles are not so quiet as they pass by so be prepared! A genuinely fantastic experience my sisters and I would be pleased to repeat.

Green Adventure

From the start of planning this trip for my family I called our trip the Green Adventure. This was our first time in Puerto Rico and I wanted for us to experience the culture and the locals. I’m glad I made the decision to choose this unique green house in the heart of the community. Upon arriving we were giving our check in information and it was clear to understand. The host left us a card showing their appreciation for us booking there. The house was clean and very colorful and Artsy. The house was about a 7 min drive to the beach, 12 mins from Old San Juan, 8 minutes from Walmart and a good amount of local spots walking distance. The outdoor shower is a must try and a great experience with the neighborhood music playing while showering. There’s a store right next door that sells food, liquor, and great people that we had a ball with. My family and I felt very safe there and we walked around the neighborhood several times as well and never felt unsafe. Parking was the only issue but not one where I wouldn’t come again. You do have to park on the side street and it tight you got to drive like a city driver. LoL! Last thing they had everything you need there from games to beach towel, cooler, even writing paper and pen. Stocked with all household items and kitchen supplies. Great little local spot

The house was very clean when we arrived, it looked just like the photos, so cute inside! Everything we needed with a laminated printout of instructions for our whole stay and checkout (which I loved so you don’t have to be guessing). Messaged R&C a couple times and they got back to me in a timely manner. This house is on a super local street, you have the auto shop next door, the food truck on the other side and a little bodega type place that plays music the whole street jams too every evening! It’s definitely a vibe! I was worried the music was going to play all night but right about 10 pm the street goes quiet do everyone can sleep 😊 We easily took the bus to Old San Juan and the airport is only a $15 Uber. We rented a car and although there’s no parking at the residence, we never had to look very long to find parking on a side street. I felt safe here. I LOVE outdoor showers so the fact this place had one just sold us. There is a camera on the neighbors property and you can’t really tell if it points into the backyard but no biggie as we just put a towel over it for the whole trip.

AWESOME is an under statement! Way COOL!!

Carrie and Ryan are the best hosts I've delt with during my first few years of retirement and traveling. Your place was very clean, with everything you could use that you forgot. Very cool murals and beautiful interior. Makes you smile and Comfortable beda I would highly recommend you explore this opportunity. A 10 out of 10 from me, my 2 grand sons and their father. Great home, everything as described

The home was great, very clean and as described. The 1/2 bath is an outdoor shower. Our own fault that we didn't read it better in the description, as we were 3 couples one bathroom to share was a challenge, but nothing to do with the home itself. We just didn't read that part! The owner was easy to chat with on access, the place was immaculate and clean, air conditioning worked excellent. My only suggestion to other guests is research the area to ensure it has the restaurants or bars you are looking for, though Uber is a fantastic option for getting around if you aren't finding the food or bars you are looking for in the neighborhood.

Good place to stay

Our stay in the home went well. There was an unexpected problem with the plumbing but the owners responded right away (their plumber was a great guy). The neighborhood is nice, with good coffee and ice cream shops walkable distances away. There was loud music in the evening but not late into the night. The house is so stocked as listed. I strongly recommend frequent use of the outdoor shower.

Love the color!

The whole family enjoyed our stay at this unique home. It was exactly as pictured and described. We really enjoyed the themed rooms, avocado and banana were a lot of fun. We are a picky family and we all thought the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for our needs!

Travelled with myself and 2 other friends for a bachelor party, the location was perfect for our needs but I could see how it might not be for everyone. You are very much in a local neighborhood away from most of the major bars and restaurants but had plenty of local shops and convenience stores around to grab quick wares. Ubers are super cheap and everything was pretty close so honestly not a big deal at all. Never spent more than $8 or more than 15 minutes. The places itself was perfect for relaxing while still having some privacy (the hammock in the morning was perfect haha)
