Location, location, location! This Movie Colony luxury home has been freshly reimagined down to the frame and rebuilt to modern specifications. Just 2 blocks east of Palm Canyon Drive in the center of Palm Springs sits La Casa Rosa. This mid-century beauty with 3 large bedrooms (all ensuite) and 3.5 baths has a large open concept living/dining/kitchen with a wall of windows overlooking the stunning pool/spa/fire-pit with striking mountain views. The views are unobstructed and offer beautiful sunsets.
**Please not that this home is not pet friendly. No pets are allowed. The owner has cameras at the front of the property and will know if pets are brought on to the property and anyone bringing pets on to the property will be required to remove them immediately. No refunds can be given for lost rentals for those that bring pets in against this rule.
La Casa Rosa is set far back off the street, offering a private, large green grass front yard with mature trees, brick wall, gates, and a privacy hedge around the perimeter of the property.
The space
Welcome to La Casa Rosa where you’ll experience Palm Springs living at its best and decompress into full vacation mode as soon as you step inside.
The huge open concept living area, has a Samsung Art TV, large gas fireplace, multiple seating areas, dining & bar area, jumbo quartz island, stainless steel appliances including a Fisher & Paykel 6 burner stove. Right off the kitchen is a powder room with the home’s original mid-century 1950s Ming green sink.
Stepping outside the wall of glass from the living area, you’ll discover a patio area with lounge seating – club chairs, loveseat, and sun loungers with Sunbrella cushions, a fire pit for those cool desert nights, outdoor dining table and a Weber gas grill. All surrounding the large, sparkling saltwater pool with in-built spa.
Accommodations:
Primary Bedroom
The oversized primary suite features a luxuriously soft, hotel quality king-size bed. Its own private ensuite bathroom has a double vanity and huge shower, as well as a beautiful outdoor shower. The bedroom has a smart tv and a desk with comfortable work chair. There is a lounge area on the patio outside with direct access to the backyard, pool & spa and mountain view. Enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktail with unobstructed mountain views!
Bedroom 2
The generously sized bedroom is located down the hall from the primary bedroom providing ample privacy. This large room provides two full beds, large closet & dresser, a smart tv and a desk with comfortable work chair, mountain views and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 3
This bedroom located on the opposite end of the house from the other two bedrooms grants the utmost privacy, a luxury hotel-quality king-size bed, ample closet space w/ dresser, ensuite bathroom and its own separate AC/heating unit. This bedroom also has a smart tv and a desk with comfortable work chair.

**There is a camera at the front door (doorbell) that monitors the front of the house and a camera pointed at the side gate next to the garage. There are NO cameras in the pool area, the backyard or any private areas.

Guests have access to the entire property.
Guests have access to the garage. There is an EV charger in the garage. The charger does not work for Tesla vehicles. EV charging is available to guests.
Pool heat is optional and available for a nominal fee. Pool heat is suggested during the months of October-June.
The spa heat is included in the nightly rate and you do not need to heat the pool to use the spa. It is important to keep this in mind when comparing properties, as many others will charge extra to heat their hot tubs.
This home is a smoke-free and no-pets allowed property.

**By City of Palm Springs Ordinance, the following are required at all short term rentals in the city of Palm Springs:
1. Renter (responsible party) must be at least 25 years of age.
2. Responsible party must present government issued I.D. prior check-in and I.D. must be copied (photographed). A copy of I.D. is kept by management while guest is at property and will be shared with Vacation Rental Compliance Officials on demand as required by law.
3. Responsible party (renter) is required to sign a short term rental agreement (contract) prior to check-in.
4. All guests are required to print and sign their names to the document “City of Palm Springs VR Statement of Rules and Regulations” which confirms that the Good Neighbor Brochure has been read and understood by all adult occupants.
5. No more than 2 adults per bedroom are allowed to occupy the home overnight with 2 additional guests allowed during daytime hours.
6. No more than 1 car per bedroom are allowed to be parked at the house overnight with 1 additional car allowed during daytime hours.
7. No parties or events can be held at the house (defined as a gathering that brings more than the allowable occupancy level to the house)
8. Trash must be kept in the provided receptacle out of public view.

10. Outdoor music is prohibited 24 hours per day. It is further expected that noise created at the home will not be audible beyond the property line.
