Peaceful Moose - Quaint LOG -Home On 3 Acres ~ Great View ~ Screened-In-Porch!

For 2026, we are flexible with a 3- night minimum.

Located on over 3 acres.....Our LOG HOME is close to parks, art and culture, restaurants and dining, the beach, and great views. You’ll love our home and its privacy and peaceful atmosphere. All with an unbelievable view of Lake George, and your still only less than a 3-minute ride to the center of Bolton Landing.

Our home is an Adirondack atmosphere dream! From the moment you enter you melt into the logs, are intrigued by the wood and the dining area's chandelier. Each room has a unique quality to it, from the stone wood stove backdrop - to the awesome view from the Master and Bear Lake Bedrooms. Our Loft bedroom's Queen Bed is perfect for kids or adults. There is no denying where you are as you enjoy quiet time, read a book or sip on wine from the deck while you smell the Adirondack Air and listen to the quietness of being here! You are also welcome to bring an Air Mattress.

Close to many attractions and activities in the Lake George area and only a 3 minute ride to the center of Bolton and it's many shopping and culinary opportunities - you will cherish the time spent here! PLEASE NOTE that you are in the Adirondacks, where an occasional insect or fury friend are looking for room and board.

The entire home is available to guests !

There are a few owners storage closets - but there is still plenty of closet space for our guests! And plenty of space for quiet time.

Be sure to check the transfer stations schedule for hours of operation. All garbage needs to be removed from our Home when departing. One small oddity is the deck light is located in the basement of the home on the right as you exit the basement back door.

Peaceful Vacation

This home was a beautiful space! We loved the log cabin, the scenery, and the peace and quiet! Our family had a wonderful vacation, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful!

The house was very spacious for our two kids to play in and all the bedrooms were big in size. Very close to the downtown area.

We spent four nights with our two adult children and one grand child and had a wonderful time. The cabin is very nice and we were very happy overall — quiet, beautiful lake view, close to Bolton Landing, close to hiking, the deck and fire pit were enjoyable. While we did not need the basement bedroom we would not likely have used it. The two bedrooms on the second floor could have used a window A/C unit in each, but Tony was extremely responsive in bringing us fans that helped quite a bit. I would suggest replacing all of the old carpets (especially in the kitchen area - should be linoleum). But the kitchen itself was nice and the living and dining areas very spacious and comfortable! Overall all we are quite pleased about our stay here!

Very Peaceful

Good experience, good location, quiet setting. The twin beds in the basement were inconvenient for the younger children, but our family would rent the Peaceful Moose again. Additionally, the owner’s communications were very good and helpful.

Spectacular Bolton Landing Log Cabin

We had a fantastic stay at the Peaceful Moose in Bolton Landing! The log cabin is everything you’d want in a mountain retreat — warm, rustic charm with plenty of space for the entire family to relax and spread out. The views of Lake George were absolutely spectacular, and we were just minutes away from boating, swimming, and some great local restaurants.Frances and Tony were wonderful hosts — friendly, responsive, and always available for any questions we had. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, which made everything easy and stress-free.If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a true Adirondack feel, close to all the action but tucked away enough to unwind — this is the place. We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful Lake House

We really enjoyed our week at Peaceful Moose house. The house is very cozy, with lots of space for our party of 6. The first floor master bedroom is so amazing, with a view of the lake. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The kids enjoyed making smores on the firepit. Tony was a great host and went above and beyond for us. We miss Lake George and Peaceful Moose already and hope to be back!

We made a last minute decision to vacation in Lake George and found the "Peaceful Moose" available. What a pleasant surprise! This neat log cabin style house was more spacious than we thought, perfect for our 5 adults. It has a beautiful view thru the trees of the lake, and is perfectly situated in Bolton Landing. It is only a 5 minute drive to the downtown area with restaurants and shops as well as access to boat rentals on the lake. We loved grilling and sitting on the deck by the firepit. It truly is peaceful! Our interactions with our host Tony were commendable. He is responsive, helpful and kind; he really went over and above!

Gorgeous View of the Lake - Charming Log Cabin

Just wrapped up 5 glorious family vacation days at this lovely Log Cabin in Bolton’s Landing. Ditch the chaos of the town of Lake George and go just a tad north to the best parts of the lake and a darling downtown. This home has all that one looks for out of a lake vacation. Both an open deck AND a screened in porch with a SPECTACULAR view of Lake George. Lovely living room, great dining room table for eating and playing games and a very nice kitchen to cook and socialize in. The beds in the rooms and loft are very comfortable with good mattresses for an excellent night’s sleep. The living room layout is perfect and the stone wall and wood burning stove a great bonus. The peace and quiet of this property cannot be overstated while Lake fun is literally under 5 mins away by car. We had a lovely relaxed and fun time! Thank you Tony & Fran.

Cozy home but the upstairs was not clean as evidenced by dust and spider webs. The linens were terribly old and ratty. Only 1 washcloth for 3 people. The sheets and pillowcases were wrinkled and questioned the cleanliness. Upstairs shower was unusable due to slippery tub. No soap was provided. The porch and deck had not been swept. 1 ply toliet paper was annoying. No welcome / orientation book.
