Family Lake House, Two Minute Walk to Lake

This family friendly, beautifully decorated, and fully updated cottage nestled in the trees just above Lake Arrowhead is perfect for year-round lake and mountain fun for the entire family.

Built in 1940, this home is bright, cozy, and lovely. The cabin is beautifully situated in nature and is peaceful, quiet, and private, perfect for a restorative mountain getaway. The home is located on a quiet street, in the gorgeous Palisades neighborhood. The location is ideal, just one street up from the lake. Lake Arrowhead Village is a quick mile and a half drive or leisurely walk, and close proximity to all the local amenities Lake Arrowhead has to offer. Also enjoy nearby shopping, restaurants or just stroll the charming neighborhood and enjoy the ambience, fresh air, and the Lake Arrowhead lifestyle!

The home has four bedrooms, as well as additional beds for the little ones, and three bathrooms, and can sleep 8 adults plus children. The home also is equipped with most baby/child necessities (travel crib, pack and play, child gate, booster seat, kids’ books and toys), so pack light, or make room for other stuff!

A small flight of stairs leads down to the front door from street level (with parking for 3-4 cars). On entering at ground level, the living room greets you with gorgeous views of the trees. Relax and take it all in - curl up on the couch and enjoy the gas fireplace with a book, or chill out with the flat screen smart tv equipped with Roku to watch cable or connect to all your apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. etc.).
The bright kitchen is open to the living room and features a gorgeous vintage range, Corian countertops, and everything you need to enjoy a meal with the family. There is also dual access to the deck, from both the living room and the kitchen. Sit outside and enjoy the trees, the mountain air, and the starry sky. Turn on the string lights and enjoy the evening! Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, and air conditioning is available for those hot summer days.

Peek through the trees for glimpses of the lake from the deck and the lake-facing upstairs bedrooms!

Please note that Lake Arrowhead is a private lake, with access limited to property owners. Guests can visit the ALA STR office to purchase wristband for access to the lake trails during their stay. Ask me for details.

The lake can also be enjoyed from the Lake Arrowhead Village, where you can ride the beautiful vintage Arrowhead Queen paddleboat, or get on the water and cruise around with McKenzie Water Ski School. Lake Gregory, which is just down the road in
Crestline is another lovely lake with lots of water activities, including boat rentals and play areas. The Rim of the World Waterpark inflatable play structure is a blast for kids of all ages!!

1 - The ground level bedroom has a queen bed, and access to a bathroom with shower
located just off the kitchen.
2 - The master bedroom is located upstairs and features a king bed and ensuite
bathroom with shower, as well as a toddler bed.
3 - The second bedroom upstairs (the family bedroom) has a king bed, a full bed, and
a twin loft bed, and is stocked with toys.
4 - The third bedroom upstairs features a queen bed.
The second and third bedrooms upstairs share access to a full bathroom.
All bedrooms are equipped with a flat screen tv with Roku, allowing for cable as well as
streaming apps.

This is the perfect mountain home for a getaway with family and friends!
