Bay Beach Cottage in Crystal Beach....perfect for a quiet getaway.

Bay Beach Cottage is a year round vacation property. Just a few minutes walk and you're at the crystal clear shores of Lake Erie, many food options, and the shops on Derby Road. It's only a short drive to the shops and fine dining found in Ridgeway. A bit further and you've got wineries and Niagara Falls!

This property is perfect for the family. A home away from home featuring a well-equipped kitchen and a large side deck with gas BBQ and room for dining or just relaxing. This deck also offers the perfect vantage point to watch a variety of games which can be played in the large yard. The front deck is the perfect spot to sit, enjoy a coffee and chat with the neighbours who walk by.

Inside the cottage is an open-concept living/dining area, filled with natural light, along with 3 bedrooms (queen, double and single bunk beds) plus a cozy front porch. The Kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, 2 coffee makers, toaster, baking, cooking pots, dishes and cutlery. Also featured is a 4-piece bathroom with a stacked H/E washer and a dryer. There is a smart TV and a variety of games and books for both young and old.

It is a beautiful mature property with 100 year old trees offering shady areas for reading or sitting or playing. We have a fire pit area with 4 Muskoka chairs (plus many other chairs on hand) and lots of open yard to play games. It's a wonderful property to enjoy your family holiday. Lots of kids toys and chairs provided for the beach and yard, plus a wagon and cooler to make the short walk to the beach that much easier.

In the summer months, six beach passes are included (kids under 12 are free) and if more are needed, they can be purchased at the beach daily for $5 a day (Mon-Thur) or $10 (Fri-Sun).

Guest access is easy as there is a Lockbox onsite. The driveway will fit 3-4 cars.

Fun times!

Second time staying in this cottage with friends. Kelley and Jason are great communicators, and they still continue to provide great amenities for their guests! We all really enjoyed staying here again. Feels like a home away from home.

Great Family Vacation Spot

It's not fancy, but we found everything we needed to stay cool and comfortable on the hottest days. An easy walk to the beach and main drag of town. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4.

Sympathique cottage

Très bien situé à 5 min de la belle plage de Crystal beach. Charmant petit quartier. Le cottage avait tout ce qu’on avait besoin, propre et accueillant.

Small is Beautiful

Everyone felt how suitable our holiday space, both yard & cottage, was to our enjoyment of a very special long awaited family time. The vision for family fun at the cottage and nearby beach was well thought out! Every thing needed for the beach, the beautifully treed yard (so nb in warmer weather)with fire pit, books & games for indoor fun, and with the provided walking umbrella's we could even 'sing in the rain' while enjoying the cafe's & shops close by...Thanks Kelley, the week was everything we could have hoped for :)

Functional Cottage, beach is nice

My wife and four kids 20, 18, 14, 10 stayed. There was plenty of bed space and the kitchen and living room were spacious enough to hang out. There are really good restaurants near by, the beach it a short walk and nice for a daily dip or two. The house was clean and functional. A couple of unexpected items though. The check out process includes doing the laundry for sheets and towels. Never had that request before. Had to add an hour to check out process. The TV had a hard time connecting to the house WiFi, so we just stopped trying. More time to talk with fam :). Overall our time here was pleasant.

Great host and fun cottage

We had a great time and loved walking down to the beach and into town for dinner. No question was too big or too small we had great advice and felt right at home.

Great Property!

This cute cottage home was perfect for all of my friends and I. The amenities provided made for a very cozy stay. The beach was only a short 10 minute walk away which we took advantage of daily. If you’re looking for a place to stay with friends or family I couldn’t recommend it more!

Perfect yard for Kids

Hosts provided everything you need for a beach holiday. My two grandchildren (7 and 5) enjoyed the spacious yard for playing and enjoyed our campfires. Comfortable beds and all amenities you need. Outdoor deck and barbeque were well used.

We are a family of four - Kelley, Jason and our 2 sons. Our home is in Burlington; both Jason and I are self-employed.

We wanted a place to unwind, close to friends and close to what our kids love....the beach, Safari Niagara, and ice cream! One of the reasons we picked this property is because it's close enough to the beach to get there comfortably (a short walk) but far enough away that it's quiet. It's a double lot so that allows the wide side deck still leaving lots of room for yard games and a fire pit (everyone loves s'mores). The cottage has a h/e gas furnace making it usable all year and although it's not perfect, we love it and are making it better each year. This is only our fourth year and already we have put in a brand new bathroom, a new washing machine, water heater and furnace and updated the plumbing, changed out the bedroom doors, repainted and updated the flooring in the enclosed porch. Oh, and we added a front deck! We have done all this and still kept the 'cottagey' feel.

As I mentioned, it's close enough to walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and market, but far enough away that it's quiet. Various attractions are a short drive away ... Safari Niagara in Stevensville and of course, the famous Niagara Falls. Nearby Ridgeway has some unique shops and fine dining. Also nearby is the Friendship Trail.
