Excellent Time in the Mountains

Cute home with everything you may need. Location on a main road, but is accessible to many other attractions - mountains via two wonderful parks, breweries and cute towns like Brevard, Flat Rock and Highlands. Extra bonus is the large fenced in backyard which was a blast for our dogs!

Very nice house

This house was very well laid out, lots of space and a very nice backyard. We did not bring a dog, but if you did, you would have no worries, leaving it in the backyard. It was very convenient to stay there and spend the day at the campground, about seven minutes away

The place was great!

This place was great for us! We didn’t bring the bikes with us this time but I can’t wait to come back on a riding trip. The location is right outside of PNF. The basement is perfect for stashing the bike and your gear. They have an awesome back yard that was great for our dog. She’ll be dreaming of it for a while. The coffee bar available was much appreciated as well.

Gateway to Pisgah and DuPont-- CHECK!

My adult son and I stayed 3 nights to do some hiking in the area. The home is just minutes from access to DuPont recreation area, and on the fringe of Brevard town limits. Home is beautifully updated and exactly as pictured. Kitchen is well-stocked and there are many thoughtful extra touches throughout the home. Beds are comfortable, and we felt right at home. Our pup loved the fenced yard, and we enjoyed the firepit every night!

Great MTB Trip House

We booked this house due to proximity to hub and mountain bike trails. House was perfect location, super clean and had all you need for a stay. House is off main road, which we knew, but traffic noise was not an issue at all. Big backyard, awesome bike storage in the basement, as well as a tool and cleaning station in the back yard. Did not use fire pit due to time and weather, but next time. We will book this house on our next trip.

Hi Lisa, thanks you for choosing our home for your stay. We appreciate your feedback because our goal is for all our guests to have no less than a 5-star experience. The house is located on a direct road that leads into the Pisgah National Forest (within 1 mile of entrance to forest). We love this for accessibility the house offers to the outdoor fun, and although the house sits pretty off the road, I can understand how the weekend you stayed being this years peak fall foliage weekend had more traffic than usual. I happened to be in the area that weekend, it was a beautiful sunny weekend with peak foliage and the amount of traffic was heavier than usual with so many people wanting to take advantage of the beautiful weather and scenery! Thanks for the suggestion on labeling the tv remotes, it's a great idea that we will implement! However, as seen on listing and photos, we only have one television in the house, and do not intend on adding more tv's to the home. We view this house as a comfortable hub for all outdoor adventures, however are believers that after an exhausting day of play the blue lights are off in the bedrooms and its time for a restful sleep of recovery. If Tv's in the bedrooms are a priority please do not book this home.

Hurricane cleanup

My family and a couple of friends stay at this home to help clean up after the hurricane. We booked the home knowing there was a chance we wouldn’t have power. When we got there, we noticed the other homes around had power. We reach out to Heidi and she was on top of it! They even called to see if a breaker had tripped to see about resetting it. The next day, we had power! This is a lovely home that met our needs. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely stay here again.

Spring weekend

This home truly felt like a beautiful retreat! Every detail the owners have poured into the decor, furnishings, mattresses, beautiful touches like top end appliances, coffee bar set up and food/water bowls for any pets, made our stay that much more enjoyable! Our mom was born in the area and we visit each spring and summer to spend time with extended family nearby and place flowers at our mom’s memorial. The location of this home was perfect as it is close to Pisgah Forest entrance, downtown and shopping. The sunset view of the sun going down in the national forest that you can see from the back deck is gorgeous! The large fenced in backyard provides great space to be outdoors when the weather is nice and plenty of room for any pets to roam safely. It was quiet at night and just a great, comfortable home! Of the houses we’ve rented in the area this has been by far the best for layout, comfort, location, sense of safety and communication with the owner. Would highly recommend if considering a visit to the beautiful land of the waterfalls.
