We enjoyed our stay at Casita Playa! Hosts were friendly and helpful! The wine and restaurant recommendations were greatly appreciated. Well maintained and close to stores. Definitely recommend!

Best stay!!

They made check in was nice and easy! Kitchen was perfect for what we needed. The pull out coach was surprisingly comfy as was the bed in the bedroom. Access to WiFi was easy but a little slow, which was fine since we only used it at night. The drive to the beach was short and sweet, we drove it every day! It’s also located close to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. They had everything we needed for the beach; toys, chairs, towels, and even a cooler! I would book this place over and over!

We has such a great stay at Casita Playa. The condo was the perfect location to all our favorite spots from Clearwater to St. Pete's. The condo was fully equiped with everything we needed for our stay and the beach. Very clean! The pool was also great. I would highly highly recommend booking your next trip here.

Missed important detail

A charming condo with a great feeling of Florida. It met all our needs except one, comfort. I missed the fact that the bed and couch were memory foam. My wife has severe back deterioration and limited arm strength and that type of mattress is impossible for her to get comfortable and move in. Plus we found the couch uncomfortable after sitting for longer periods. It's close to shopping and the property is well maintained but you are basically in an apartment complex. The earplugs left are a clue that the person above you is a little noisy when they walk. Consequently we informed the host that we had to check out three days early and stay in a hotel that had a normal mattress ( with no refund of course) Lesson learned that reading the details matters. Not the hosts fault.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Warm and beach-themed decor, comfy beds and towels, and close to everything… who could ask for more? Wonderful communication with the owners, and it was a lovely neighborhood

Comfy home away from home

The condo was spacious for my husband and I. Very clean and supplied. The bed is very comfortable. Washer and dryer was nice to have, they even included washing pods and dryer sheets. I loved that they had a full length mirror. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning outside in the screened in patio. Pool was clean and the bbq grill was easy to use. Location was centrally close to everything.

Sweet Condo!

Stayed for one month at Casita Playa and absolutely loved it! Condo had everything we needed and Carl was very responsive and so helpful. The one drawback was a thin ceiling and heavy footed upstairs neighbours - but they were very respectful and the noise never bothered us at all. Beautiful area - so easy to get around, great amenities and the most breathtaking beach (Indian Rocks Beach) just a 10-minute drive away.

Visiting friends

Decided to visit friends and Loved our stay the first time we had to come back. Our hots are very responsive during the rental process and during the stay. It was a no brainer where we wanted to stay. The condo is exactly as described and couldn’t be more accommodating. Can’t wait to return. It’s such a comfort knowing where we will be and what to expect. So close to beach and pool is a bonus.

Perfect for our family!

This condo was a perfect location for us. It was an easy drive to the beautiful Indian Rocks Beach! It wasn’t super crowded any day we were there. The owners were very prompt in asking any questions we had. We especially appreciated the starter set on laundry supplies!

Exceptional hospitality in Largo

We chose to stay at this property for our first visit to the Tampa area based on the excellent reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. The condo is in an excellent location in Largo, very easy to get to from the airport, and close to Indian Rocks beach, Dunedin and surrounding attractions. We were able to walk from the condo to the walking trails at the John Buehner Nature park on the coast (about 20 minutes). The condo itself was very clean, modern and well laid out and had a wonderful atmosphere and all of the amenities we needed. The check in process was very easy and the owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and responsive. We had such an amazing experience during our visit that I would highly recommend this condo to anyone considering a trip to the Tampa, St. Pete’s or Clearwater area.

Great Home Base

My family and I recently stayed at this property. It was perfect for two adults and two children to use as a home base; the property owners take great care of the unit and invest in special details that aren’t always seen with rented properties. For example, there were toothbrushes and toothpaste left for our use; earplugs were provided on the nightstands too. (I would guess that this was in response to other reviews indicating they could hear footsteps from the tenants upstairs. We could also hear the tenants upstairs, but we weren’t very much bothered by it.) The unit was extremely clean, and we loved that there were pool and beach toys for us to borrow. My only wish would be that the pool was heated, but my children didn’t seem to care. :) Excellent hosts…I would stay here again.

Fantastic

The Casita Playa was the cleanest lodging we have EVER stayed at. In addition to the cleanliness, the attention to detail in amenities and decorations is unsurpassed. The grounds were well kept, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. The only negative has been addressed in other reviews, sounds from the upstairs unit are very noticeable. I believe it is due to how the unit was constructed rather than the activities of the upper residents. We highly recommend the Casita Playa and will stay there again if ever in the area; thank you Carl & Kandi!

Playoff stay!!!

My husband and I came in town for the playoffs Go Buccs!!! Largo is home away from home. Our stay was very pleasant! The bottle of wine was nice! Location was everything we were close to family and in my husband childhood neighborhood. Carl was very welcoming and pleasant. Overall a great time was had!
