Beliggenhed! 3 huse til stranden i havet.

Fernleigh er en smuk tre-værelses hytte, som ligger kun få minutter fra stranden. De grundejere var engang ejerne af den tidligere antikvitetsforretning i Seaside kaldet 'Fernleigh «. Selvom huset er fyldt med smukke antikviteter, det er familien venlige og glæder børn i alle aldre.
Hjemmet byder dig velkommen med en stor screenet-in veranda, der har en gynge på den ene side og gyngestole omkring et lille bord på den anden. Du indtaster i høj loftet opholdsstue med pejs, spil bord, spiseplads og køkken. Gangen fører til master bedroom med king-size seng har også en vaskemaskine og tørretumbler skab. Det forbinder Føreren bad har en gammeldags klo fod badekar med bruser vedhæftet. Du vil finde adgang til bagsiden veranda gennem både køkken og soveværelse.
Ovenpå du `ll finde den anden og tredje soveværelser med en delt fuld-bad (kun bruser) i mellem de to soveværelser. Soveværelset til venstre er en dronning soveværelse med adgang til altan. Soveværelset til højre har en tvilling daybed med trille pull-out. Dette soveværelse har også adgang til altanen med siddepladser og udsigt.

Our family of 4 stayed in this property this past weekend/week and overall, the stay was great! We had seamless check-in, comfy bedrooms, & great communication with the host rental company. But I think it is important to share the pro's and con's with the owners and any future renters. First the Pro's: the home has a fantastic location! We were a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to Seaside Town Center (where we rented the 2 complimentary bikes, which is a great benefit) AND a less-than-5-minute walk to the Savannah Pavilion private beach access just across 30A using our rental key fobs. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas through Cabana Man for each day of our stay, and we were SO happy we did - great service, great location, so easy...it was 160/day tip for 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. Complimentary fitness club and pool passes were also another benefit of staying here! Another Pro: the front screened-in porch...it was by far our favorite place to hang out while at the house! Now the Con's: while the house was clean, the house is also old with very dated decor and plumbing (both of the showers are super small). There was a very strong odor in the house when we arrived and it lingered throughout our stay...I asked the rental company representative about it, but he said it was just the smell of the older home. Overall, it was a good stay, but a few updates could really make this home a "5-Star" rental.

Seaside experience

We stayed in the Fernleigh cottage in Seaside. The cottage is very quaint and charming. The screened front porch is so inviting and we enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening cocktails there. We were attending a wedding and were able to walk to all the events. Location was perfect! Would highly recommend booking a stay.

Great location and house very clean. Lots of space for group at tables and great kitchen . The property mangers very responsive when we had a few questions. The only negative and it’s really personal preference. The bed in master is very hard. If you like that then all good. I would have preferred a mattress topper to soften it a bit.

Family Vacation

Cozy house in a great location with private access to the beach and a short walk to the square. Only used our car once to drive to Panama City to shop at Ron Jon’s Surf Shop. Only negative is way too small of a hot water tank for a family of 4 to shower, had to wait a while between showers for tank to fill up and the upstairs shower is very tiny Could use some updating but overall experience was great

Location! Location! Location!

This house is perfectly situated across the street from the Savannah Beach Pavillion (book your chairs at the Pavillion through cabanaman.com) and the "Square." Quiet neighborhood with onsite security. House was well equipped with all the necessities that you need to cook and relax. Be careful with tiny humans, as there are a lot of home decor items that are breakable. Thouroughly enjoyed the stay and the short walk to all things Seaside! Thank you, Fernleigh!

Quaint but uncomfortable!

This property was beautiful and quaint, filled with antiques, original pine floors and trim, and a perfect location. However, there was no comfortable seating in the house, only wicker love seat, a two seater wooden bench, and two very antique uncomfortable rockers. Other than that, it was great.

Outdated and Uncomfortable

The house is outdated and the furniture uncomfortable. We ended up leaving and staying with family in another house.

I'm sorry we are just responding to this review. We had a challenge with some reviews not flowing into our mainframe system. I'm sorry that Fernleigh was not a fit for you and your family. The owners' parents owned the first furniture store in Seaside which was an antique store. So, they do maintain that motif today. If you would like more information on a home, beyond the photos and description online, please do not hesitate to call our office. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house is ideal, but the house itself is not. The furniture is not comfortable, especially when the weather keeps you inside most of the day. The bathroom set up is not great either shower is very small, and the down stairs toilet sounds like it’s screaming. The bedrooms up stairs have no TVs and the linens are low quality. Of all the places we have stayed in this area this is by far the least comfortable.

Review of Fernleigh

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time at Seaside but the cottage not so much. The bathrooms need updating. The upstairs shower is too small and looks like a 1980s shower. The lighting was poor and the internet kept going off. There is way too much furniture in the cottage.

A sweet cottage with a perfect location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Fernleigh Cottage. The beds are comfortable. The location is a ten out of ten- close to the beach, close to the pool, close to town for restaurants and shopping..I would say the bathrooms could use updating. The upstairs bathroom has a very small stall shower, and the primary bedroom has a claw foot tub/shower- awkward to use if mobility is an issue. The furniture and decor is so cute but the couches in the living room should be more comfortable. We loved the screened in front porch! Kitchen was well equipped except we needed salt and pepper.
