OCEAN FRONT - West End Home @ OIB on the Sound and Sea! Private Pool

Thank you for the positive comments about our home, location, pool, beach access, and seven bathrooms. I do want to clarify a few things for future guests reading this review. Our checkout instructions do ask that towels be washed and dried before departure. This is communicated to guests and is necessary with a home of this size to allow our cleaning crew enough time to prepare the property for the next family. Especially during the summer weeks where we only have a few hours to turn things around. In this particular case, we also accommodated your request for a later checkout so your grandchildren could spend some additional time enjoying the ocean before leaving. We were happy to do that for your family, which makes the complaint regarding the checkout process a little disappointing. More importantly, after your group’s departure we discovered a broken shower glass, scratches/damage to the flooring from furniture being moved, and a broken blind. Those are considerably more concerning to us than a few missing household supplies, as we work very hard to maintain this home for every family that visits. We appreciate the positive comments about the property and will certainly review the supply issue with our cleaning team. We simply ask that guests extend the same consideration to our home that we try to extend to them during their stay.
