The property is exactly as described. We spent a little over a month there and had no issues. The hot tub is great after hiking and the yard was perfect for our dogs to run and play (a bit of doggie heaven). The house is central to many hiking areas, breweries, etc. Would highly recommend a short or long term stay, especially if you have dogs.

What a gem in the Blue Ridge foothills! We had a wonderful weekend stay at this cozy home in Mills River, NC and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we booked, the owner's communication was exceptional — prompt, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease before we even arrived. The property itself was spotless. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained, which made settling in effortless. The hot tub with its valley views was an absolute highlight, and we spent more than one evening out there watching the sunset. The fire pit and the spacious fenced yard were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The location is a sweet spot — peaceful and private, yet close to Asheville and all the area has to offer. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway. We'll definitely be back!

The property was very clean and the host was extremely welcoming and responsive. We had no issues during our stay, but she did check in to make sure that we didn’t need anything. We absolutely loved the fully fenced in backyard for our two dogs. The hot tub, Foosball table and swing in the backyard were big hits with our kids. We also really enjoyed the waffle bar. Great location close to Pisgah national forest and downtown Brevard. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house for kids and adults

The game room was great for entertaining our kids and all of the adults. Great fire pit set up with the hot tub nearby. The property had plenty of wood for us to use so we didn’t have to worry about buying firewood. We definitely would stay again, great place.

Gosh, this really was the get away both myself and my dog needed It was so relaxing to hang out by the fire and sip wine while my sweet Gracie was able to wander and explore safely around the fenced yard. It’s not always easy to find a place that accomplishes both of those things. The house itself was great; the king bed was so comfy! The sheets felt amazing. I usually don’t sleep well when I stay away from home but as soon as I got in bed, I knew it was going to be a restful night. It was such a special weekend get away, Gracie and I hope to visit again.
So much space for Gracie to run!

Exceptional experience

The home was impeccably clean and perfectly located for our plans for hiking and breweries. The landscaping was beautiful and host was very accessible and welcoming. Top notch!

Great house and property!

The communication with the host was great! The cleanliness and the amenities were really nice. The hot tub on these cold winter nights along with the waffle bar and coffee station in the morning that were all included were such a nice touch. The fully fenced yard gave us peace of mind that our dog was safe and comfortable running around. Overall great stay and would definitely stay again!

The perfect getaway!

This home was the perfect getaway. It was super clean, had all the amenities of home and more, and centrally located to all the local attractions. You can tell they really care about their property and want their guests to have the best experience which makes a difference when renting a vacation home. Our family had enough space to enjoy and relax in without feeling on top of each other when we were not out and about. We will definitely be back.

Very Comfortable

It was very comfortable and set up well! The pictures were spot on and we loved the forrpit area and hot tub. It was nice to have a fenced in yard for our pup. There were really clear directions before and signage there which made it easy. Mills River Brewery was very close and was a nice afternoon spot with music and really good food. Would highly recommend!

Perfect location

Tucked in the quaint town of Mills River this property boasts beautiful views and amenities for the entire family. The house is older but you can tell the owner took extra effort to make it comfortable. This property had a huge fire pit and a hot tub. There are many breweries in the area for quick access or Asheville was only 30 min away. The beds were comfortable the game room and waffle bar were a favorite of our kids. Host had great communication! We will definitely stay at this property again and would recommend.

Exceeds expectations

My family and I stayed here for a few days and let me tell you, this was the best rental we have stayed in. We come to the area every April and this house by far was our favorite. The yard is so peaceful and large and well kept. We loved the swings the most. The sunroom was our favorite place to hang out at nighttime because of the comfortable seating and the large windows. The bathrooms are a bit tight but my 6’5 275lb father was able to use them so it was fine. I never felt like we were being watched or bothered. The host answered questions so quickly and grocery/shopping is less than 20 min away. I could go on and on but this place was the most wonderful getaway for our family. We barely left the property. We felt 110% safe. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Loved staying at this rental! I completely forgot that it came with a foosball table, games, and Pac-Man! Those really came in handy with our kids when the weather did not cooperate. Place was nicely decorated, had comfy beds, and had many areas to be together or apart. Waffles were delicious. Hot tub was great after going on hikes. Place is close to everything, but not so close that you can still hear nature and see the stars. We didn't bring our dog this time, but he would have loved the backyard. Our kids sure loved the swing out there! Communication with host was excellent, not bugging you during vacation, but still reachable quickly. I recommend this property and would stay again!

Absolutely awesome. Great location while still feeling secluded. The fenced in property has so many blooming flowers and large area for dogs to play. The sunroom was probably my favorite part! We got to listen to the rain and it felt like we were outside all while we watched a movie. The host very clear and attentive to any messages sent. Small details like a waffle maker with mix and syrup made the experience special. The beds were extremely comfortable and most importantly… very clean!!

This host was amazing to work with. Very responsive, kind, and informative. The property was just as advertised with a huge fenced yard for our dogs to play in while we enjoyed the fire pit. It rained a lot while we were there and we enjoyed sitting in the sun room and listening to the rain. There were several games to play while spending family time together and plenty of room to separate when we wanted quiet time. The coffee and waffle bar was a nice bonus too!The property is reasonably close to the Blue Ridge Parkway where we traveled for sightseeing and hiking. It is also reasonably close to Asheville. Less than 10 miles away is the Sierra Nevada brewery where you can do tours or have snacks at their taphouse. There are plenty of places to eat nearby so there is the convenience of being close to shopping and restaurants but the peace of being in a small community surrounded by trees and fields.We had a restful and fun family vacation here and can definitely recommend this location.

Great property! Super happy about the fenced in yard for a golden retriever. House felt quiet and secure. Potter was a nice bonus. Laundry in the basement very helpful. Loved the mattress in the master bedroom!
