Welcome to The Blue Cottage on Lake Lanier! If you are looking for a romantic couple's getaway or a week or weekend with a few friends this is the perfect cottage for you.

Situated less than 15 minutes north of vibrant downtown Gainesville, Georgia and 23 minutes east of downtown Dahlonega, The Blue Cottage is the perfect Lake Lanier vacation destination for your family and friends. Whether you need a long weekend away or a week-long summer vacation, this house will not disappoint!

A quaint little cottage on the outside, you will enter through the front door to an expansive 3,500 square foot home. There is a beautiful eat-in gourmet kitchen with separate wine and coffee bars. The kitchen has been thoughtfully stocked to include all essential items for your home away from home. It includes an induction range with double ovens, or it can be used as one large oven with air frying capabilities. Beyond the kitchen is the enormous, yet comfortable, great room with a 70” inch smart TV, additional dining space and conversation/game areas. A large screened-in porch is accessible from the great room to enjoy relaxing lake views or an outdoor meal.

Downstairs you will find a TV/game room with a pool table/ping pong table and 70” smart TV with a comfortable seating area.

Walk down the gentle path to the two-slip boat dock with party deck! You can rent a boat from a local marina, enjoy the provided water toys, or just relax and enjoy the lake and gorgeous sunsets. If you are bringing your own boat, there is a boat ramp conveniently located just minutes away.

Bedroom is furnished with smart TV for your enjoyment. Plus, just in case you can’t get away from work for the week, there is a desk with monitor for your convenience. Don’t forget to bring any required specialty cables, HDMI to HDMI is provided.

Our family has rented vacation homes for years and wanted to bring elements of our favorite places to this home. We can assure you that The Blue Cottage will be ready for you to relax and enjoy! If you have any issues, we are a call away.

We will provide a starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, dish soap & K-Cups at check-in. Kroger is less than 2 miles away and a new Publix approx 4 miles away for any other needs.

PLEASE NOTE: Jet Skis located in the dock are NOT available for guest use. Jet Skis can be rented at local marinas. Also note that you must go under a low clearance bridge to access the property by boat. Depending on current water level, some vessels may not be able to access the area.

Nightly rate is based on double occupancy. There is a $50/per person, per night charge for additional guests. The number of guests must not exceed the number of guests included in the reservation.

Please note there is an exterior Ring Door Bell (camera) attached to the front porch. Only registered guests are allowed at the property during your stay.
