Rustic cabin oasis on 1 acre with a fishing pond

Your private 1 acre oasis includes one rustic cabin and one super cute RV for lodging. Got family? Bring your own RV for a boon-docking spot! But wait did we mention our private pond stocked with Bass, Catfish, and Bluegill. Surrounded by Rockport Beach, Copano Bay, Redfish Bay, Aransas Wildlife Refuge, and only a 15-minute drive to Port Aransas!

You will enjoy a serene 1-acre property all to yourself. You can sleep in the rustic (adorably quirky) one bedroom cabin that sleeps four. In the bedroom we have included a comfortable queen size bed and a corner workspace for all those who cannot quite leave the office! There is a fully equipped kitchen - but bring on the suds there is no dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower and a full-sized washer and dryer. The living room has a smart TV, Wi-Fi and a pull-out couch that sleeps two (the couch is smallish).

In the morning grab your cup of coffee or in the evening get some ice for an adult beverage in the fully enclosed wrap around porch overlooking the pond. Need to get a little more work done? There is another workstation outside in the fully enclosed wrap around porch -- but enough about work. Outside is a deck and patio with a charcoal BBQ and picnic area. You can also sit around a fire pit and solve all the world’s problems into the starry night. Do not forget there is still room for your boat.

On the same property sits a real cutie! A studio RV with its own bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Bring along your furry friends for an added pet fee.

We were not able to stay in one of the “rooms”because the sewer smell was so bad (trailer). We also did not expect a futon type mattress on the bed in the trailer another reason we could not stay there. Fortunately we had another option for accommodations for some of our family. It should be represented as a 1/1. The screened in deck was very nice and it was quiet.

Perfect spot!

Great little place, close enough to get in and see all the beach attractions, and far enough out to be able to just relax and enjoy the day, whole family truly enjoyed out stay here! Will definitely stay here again.

Family spring break trip

House was cute and clean. Rv was nice for added sleeping. Pond was nice and big. But had no fish which was one of the major reasons we picked this cabin to give the kids something to do during the day.

Relaxing get away spot!!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It is a hidden gem for sure. We have always stayed on the island so this was our first stay in Aransas Pass and the commute to the island was worth getting to have such a beautiful place to stay. The cabin is perfect for a couple, with extra room available in the RV for other guests. Everything was perfect..a fire pit, comfy cabin and a fenced yard for pets. Definitely reccomend!

Perfect Stay

Stayed for a week and had no complaints! Such a nice cabin with all you could need. Short drives to get to anything thing you may need, Rockport, and Port Aransas. Pet friendly! My pups loved the open land and felt comfortable with the surrounding fence. Will be back!

Great Place Off The Beaten Path

This place was great! It was easy to get to, easy to navigate the sights from, close enough to the beaches and groceries and Starbucks. The cabin and RV were spotless and there were plenty of kitchen items to cook with. All our kids enjoyed fishing the pond and even caught a few nice bass. Definitely would stay again!

Memorial Day Weekend

Overall, I would rate this VRBO three out of five stars. The reason would be first based off of check-in process. There was no email communication or communication prior to checking in which stated 24 to 48 hours to get into the house. Had to call the owner/host several times before they answered, and then was given the correct way to check into the property. The description made it sound like the property could handle a lot more people, but based off of availability of sleeping space only two people in the RV and two people in the actual house itself. Cleanliness was great. I will say that if you’re not used to the beach or being in Port Aransas/Aransas Pass that the grounds around the property are as well as have a lot of furs which we had dogs and so slight detail. During the process the air conditioning does take a while to cool down the property , which the property was run off of mini split AC units. The RV when we went in there to turn on the AC unit was over 90°. So that did take quite a while to cool down. The light in the bathroom was out. The owner fixed it within 24 hours. there is a gated area around the property so the dogs were able to free room with no safety concerns. The host were great. I would just say that overall communication could be better.

Exactly what I expected quiet and away from everything.

Having the 2.5 acre lot was peaceful. We did fish the pond, a few bites. Cabin was cute and clean. Rv was nice! The deck is big with good shade. Sitting out with the breeze was nice.

Loved our stay!

The cabin was very clean and so cute! The RV was also very nice. Quiet and comfortable. The fishing pond was a bonus too! The hosts were also wonderful and very responsive. A great place for a getaway.

Three Bass Cabin was awesome!!!

Check in was easy and the property was awesome!!!! The fire pit was perfect for the cold night and the fishing tank kept us busy.

Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. Both the cabin and RV were comfortable. As well as stock pond.

Renting was made very simple thru VRBO.

Great stay!

My family & I loved this little cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out by the fire at night, plenty of seating for everyone. We grilled food outside and the kids had a great time playing in the large yard. It was great having peace and quiet, away from the busy town. The host was very attentive to our needs. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Bring them along there is room at the cabin for a full-sized RV with full 50-amp hooks up with for an added fee of $65 per night. Do not forget there is still room for your boat.

On the same property sits a real cutie! A studio RV with its own bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The RV also sleeps four with Wi-Fi and TV. You can bring an added boon-docking RV in this space for a $45 dollar per night rental. You can fill up your RV with the well water if needed (but there is no power or sewer for this spot). This space has its own picnic and BBQ area. I addition to another fire pit area also overlooking the pond. Do not forget there is plenty of room for another boat or a couple of tents for the kiddos. Bring along your furry friends for an added 25$ pet fee. Please do not leave pets or children unattended.
