The community of Plantations East is a delightful neighborhood with a relaxed vibe and friendly people. The unit itself is quite spacious with plenty of room to spread out comfortably, for up to 8 occupants. There's a Juliette balcony off of the master bedroom, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. It provides a relaxing view of the pond, which offers glimpses of ducks and blue herons, as well as other shore birds. The screened-in porch and adjacent deck allow for rest and relaxation, while taking in the lovely views. On the deck, there are places to sit and enjoy an outdoor dining experience.

For your convenience, there are smart TV's that may be used with guest's streaming services located in the main living room area, the master bedroom and the first floor office. Wifi is included for a speedy internet connection. Also, located in the cabinet of one of the bookshelves are some games and puzzles for guest use. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs with the option of using the 1st floor office as an additional sleeping space (2 cots located in the coat closet). The condo has 3 full bathrooms, with the master bathroom outfitting a jetted tub. Located in the garage, there are beach chairs, a small beach umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys for your use. There is a "Welcome binder" located in the living room which provides recommendations for restaurants, activities, and sights to see. The unit provides all the comforts of home.

*The property has no barrier between the yard and the water's edge. Child supervision is strongly recommended.
*There's a doorbell camera on the front door and a security camera outside of the garage door for security purposes only. *Guests must provide their own linens and towels.

The pond allows small water crafts of up to 15' (kayaks; paddle boards). Catch and release fishing is allowed on the pond as well, which is located right in your backyard. The neighborhood provides scenic walking paths and bridges that cross over the pond, as well as bike paths to take in the sights from various vantage points.

Located in the development across the street, there is the option to use the amenities at "Dave Marshall Tennis & Fitness" which includes pickleball courts, tennis courts, and gym facilities for an added fee. Staff is very friendly and will give you a tour and explain all the options available.

Overall, most places you may want to explore (beaches, Cape Henlopen State Park, Downtown Lewes, outlet shopping, restaurants, museums, grocery stores, Rehoboth boardwalk, farmers markets, etc) are located within a 5-15 minute drive.

The Lewes/Rehoboth area is home to countless wonderful restaurants which would be quite a treat for any foodie desiring to satisfy their palate. There are always events and activities to choose from, for various age groups with any array of interests.
