It is a beautiful property, very spacious and with all the facilities including the pool, views and walk up beach. Awesome host, manager, chef and staff! Would highly recommend this to any visiting Akumal with family! Even my senior parents loved this Casa for heading to beach just a few steps away and spacious downstairs bedroom. Waking up to sunrise on the ocean was truly memorable! Kayaks on the property - such a delight for my sons to go out into the ocean!! And of course, experiencing chef prepared meal was truly a highlight of the special dinner and service! I would stay here again at my next visit! Thank you to the host and staff!

If you're hesitating to book this wonderful place, don't! We stayed here for my partner's birthday with 2 other couples, and the property was a dream. Clean, huge, right on the beach, quiet, and absolutely spotless. Kim is an amazing host who went above and beyond for us providing snacks and a cake for his birthday. We loved every minute here enjoying the pool and other fantastic amenities this property has to offer. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

The house was just as listed and well maintained. The owner was responsive to questions and the onsite staff was very helpful. The location was great with easy access to Tulum, snorkeling with sea turtles, and numerous cenotes. The little reef just inside the breakwater (dark spot in the water) was good for a short snorkel.

Amazing location, beautiful home on the beach, attentive staff and a very thorough and responsive host. Our family had an amazing trip to Akumal, yours will too.

The house and property is amazing — just as described — beach front with the pool. There was tonnes of space for everyone (9 adults in our group). Kim was amazing with coordinating our holiday and answering any questions while we were there. Ángel, Fabiana and Edgar were always helpful and made the best food during our stay. They made a special meal for my daughter’s birthday with decorations. The weather was great with the only hiccup being the seaweed on the beach but you can’t control Mother Nature . Didn’t stop us from enjoying the kayaks to explore the reefs.This was our first visit to Mexico and would definitely go back without hesitation.

Fantastic House in Akumal

This house exceeded our expectations and provided a beautiful home base for our Tulum area vacation. The pool was great to hang out one thing that was a little unique to this house was that there is more of a private beach with the cabana and hammocks than other houses on that section of beach.

Fantastic home, just as pictured.

Our three night stay could not have been better. The house was immaculate on arrival, and we found the place to be just as pictured in the photos. We enjoyed fantastic daily breakfast prepared by the cook recommended by the host.

Great family getaway!

What a perfect place to spend a relaxing 10 days! House is immaculate, offered every comfort, has lots to do steps from the ocean. Our host ensured our every convenience. Quaint town of Akumal a few minutes drive or long beach walk. Great local restaurants or schedule the private chef.

Wonderful house, wonderful location

Three generations, nine people, ages 7 to 74! Our second year here and we couldn’t wait to come back! Owner and staff always very attentive. Great pool. Akumal is fun with good food and drink. And snorkeling with the turtles.

Great stay!

We absolutely loved the stay. The house, pool, and beach were wonderful. Karin and Edgar were amazing both as caretakers and cooks. We had dinner at the house on 2 nights and the meals were great and the setting eating outside at the pool patio was very nice. Kim (the property manager) was also very responsive and friendly. Would 1000% recommend this property and people for a great vacation. Three generations of our family lived it.

great time

We had a fantastic time. We had the power go out during a Tropical Storm and they were they quickly to help with water, flashlights and to tell us what the power company had told them. It was not really an inconvenience at all because of their attentiveness. Property was perfect. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Exquisite Home

We just finished a 5 day trip to Akumal at Casa de las Conchas --- we should have stayed for two weeks! The entire experience was pleasant, relaxing and super fun! Jacob and Kim do a wonderful job communicating and fulfilling requests that helped make the trip simple and stress free. The house staff are sensational - the food is fantastic and the entire property inside and out was manicured and clean throughout our stay. The home is very luxurious (I don't think the pictures capture just how nice this home is - it's amazing!).

Loved our stay!

Great home! The pictures are exactly how the house is. We stayed with 12 of our family with an age range from 60-3. The house staff were amazing and checked in often to make sure everything was going well and to answer any questions we might have. It was a little hard for our driver to find on the way there from the airport. Going to Akumal for restaurants etc was a bit of a hike for a three year old so we only attempted that once by foot with the whole family. Everyone is still talking about the awesome vacation - so well worth it!! THANK YOU for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful location and Property

Amazing house and host. We rented the house for two friends 50th birthdays. All 5 couples had their own room and bathroom. 3 rooms have ocean views and the other two rooms have a more private feel. We loved the kayaks and being right at the water. We walked to town along the beach and really enjoyed the town of Akumal. We would all definitely rent this house again. The owner set us up with massages, and they have cooks available also. There was filtered water in all the bathrooms and kitchen. This is a perfect house. Thank you so much!

Paradise

We just spent 8 nights in the beautiful place. There were 10 of us all together ranging in age from 5 to 70. This place is perfect. The pool and outside area are as perfect in real life as in the pictures. You can walk a few steps to the beach and we snorkled every day in the bay in front of the house. We saw fish and sting rays. Just a few minutes walk down the beach and you arrive at Jungle Fish Cafe where we ate dinner several nights. We also had the in house chef make us a couple of meals. They were amazing. The house host, Kim, is incredibly attentive and fast to reply to every need you may have. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic Fun in the Sun

This house was perfect! We had 10 people for a 50th birthday celebration and we had everything we needed. The whole area was extremely safe and private, we felt like we had our own beach. Edgar and our housekeeper were great and very responsive. Kim was very quick to reply to wordings our needs before and during our stay. The previous reviews helped a lot...bring water shoes is the biggest! We meet a wonderful neighbor that shared some great informant as well and we felt so welcome. 10/10 definitely recommend and have already given the info to a couple friends. We did stop at Sams club to get most of our food on the way to the house from the airport and that was helpful. Edgar

Amazing house and location

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa de las Conchas. We have stayed at Akumal Sur before and love the little "private" beach. Even though there were high winds the week we stayed, we still enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking in the bay. The pool was wonderful and we used all of the seating areas on the beach and pool area, especially the hammocks and palapa lounges. Kim easy to contact and quick to reply. Edgar was so friendly and kept the pool area and beach area in top shape. Karin was great too. The views from the 3 beach facing rooms were fabulous, and all beds/bathrooms, and the living room and eat in kitchen area, were very comfortable. Having the water jugs in the bathrooms was convenient. The amenities do not list shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so bring some with you, but several of the bathrooms had a few of these items. Fabulous week - we would love to stay here again!

Perfect family Resort style Casa

Where to begin? This beautiful villa was home to my entire family and I and for 8 days. This house was equipped with everything we could possibly need from nice cooking utensils, serving platters, a pack n play for the baby (already set up for us), an on site staff ( Margarita she was a sweetheart)to keep all of the rooms tip top while we played in the ocean and the pool; and the list goes on. Jacob was very helpful and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was running smoothly. The rooftop was a stunning place to enjoy the sun set or the sunrise! We were appointed a chef for a couple of the evenings which we were celebrating special occasions and Martine made sure they were nothing short of special, and delicious! The location of this property is far enough removed from the high tourist traffic but close enough if you choose to visit these destination spots. What a great place to spend with family or friends; we hope to revisit one day in the future!
