Amazing property! It was the perfect place to gather with our extended family and make lasting memories. We loved fishing off the pier, relaxing by the pool, and spending time together. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch, there’s no better place to unwind while taking in the breathtaking views of the bay. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

My family loves the beach vibes, but we don’t enjoy hanging out on the sand all day. This house has the best of both worlds. Epic views over the Appilachicola Bay, stunning sunsets, private pool and hot tub…it has it all. I absolutely love the fact that it’s on a single story on a slab (no stairs). Kitchen is large and has plenty of space for preparing large meals. Not only is it pet friendly, but the layout is perfect for our frenchie. This was our second year and I have no doubt we will be back. Can not recommend enough.

Just had a great week at Paradise On The Bay. The house is spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable (wish they had a king in the master). The backyard makes this property, the backyard is huge lots of room for your fur babies to run around, the pool is really big, the biggest pool we’ve ever had in a rental. The dock is great for fishing or watching sunsets. Overall this property is pretty special you won’t be disappointed with your stay here, we will definitely rent it again. The host is very responsive to any questions or needs you have.

Best trip we've had yet! The house was amazing. Huge pool, kids loved feeding the koi, spacious and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend and we will be staying there again.

Absolutely beautiful!! I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this property. The house is spacious and comfortable. The pool is huge in comparison to most pools around. The outside is amazing. The best place we have rented in almost 10 years of coming to this area.

Perfect

This property was the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. The pool and views were amazing! The newly constructed dock and hot tub installation were a great surprise! Sarah was very responsive to all questions we had.

We have been staying at this property for around five years now and absolutely love the grounds and pool area. Sadly, the interior is declining and not being maintained. This trip was for my daughter‘s wedding. So I contacted them well in advance to let them know I would be hosting the bridesmaids for a pool party and to make sure that everything was in working order. We arrived to a pool that was green with algae, porches were so filthy, a fountain that was not working button and fogged up windows that could not be cleaned. Even though I had asked to make sure the pool is heated and in top condition, I believe they had not even opened the pool or done any spring cleaning before we arrived. I ended up cleaning porches, myself. It took the pool crew a good week to get the green algae out of the pool and they were supposed to come back the day of the party and clean again, but did not show. Here are some photos of how we found the house.

The pool was an unfortunate event that was not under our control. We found a deceased squirrel in the skimmer & that is what contaminated the water and threw off the chemical balance. We have our team there twice a week to service our pool & things like this still happen to anyone that owns a pool. They were there every single day working tirelessly (even over the weekend) to get it back to normal. The first 3 days you were there it was also raining. The outdoor areas are harder to keep spotless around the edges at times with weather & dirt blowing around. Especially in the Spring. But we offered to come clean the outdoor porches for you again, but you did refuse. And then quite frankly you were pretty rude to us the entire time, when all we wanted to do is make you happy.

To say this place is amazing would be an understatement! The house is as pictured but this place exceeded my expectations in person. The views are unbeatable and the sunsets were the prettiest I've ever seen. The house is laid out so well that our group of 8 had plenty of space. We enjoyed the pool every day and went out on the pier each morning to fish, drink our coffee, and watch the dolphins swimming in the bay. My favorite was watching the pelicans flying over and perching on the nearby posts. We also enjoyed feeding the koi fish in the pond each morning. The house was fully stocked with anything we needed and very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. We will definitely be back next year!!

Family Bacation

Beautiful property. So peaceful and relaxing. Just gorgeous landscape and beautiful sunsets made our trip so enjoyable. The house is getting tired( worried toilets would overflow -they never did)and (worried about the koi pond drying up). We reported our concerns. Maintenance came to fix the door handles but did not fix them. The washing machine sounds like a rocket taking off. The pool is so beautiful(wonderful pool towels available )and the dock was fun for fishing and watching dolphins. 0ur family really enjoyed all the space in the house. A great vacation!

Beautiful property, would definitely stay again

The property is beautiful, and was as described. The house does need some attention- the electric in the home seems a bit dicey. Some of the lights and plug outlets don’t work at all and some lights constantly flickered. The beds in two room’s (the bunks and the bedroom next to it ) definitely need an upgrade- its hard to enjoy your stay when you can’t get a good nights sleep. The house could have been cleaner, there were large noticeable cobwebs everywhere and the windows were beautiful but so dirty it wasn’t as pleasant looking out of them. The pool was excellent we paid for heating and checked in Saturday afternoon. The pool wasn’t warm enough to swim in until Monday but after it warmed up it was great. The pier, views and sunsets were spectacular! The yard was nice but pest control would be helpful, there were ant hills everywhere and we all had bites, the ants were also bothersome around the pool. Communication with property manager could have been better. I have stayed in many VRBO properties- some I communicated with the owners themselves, others property managers. In the past I always felt welcome and appreciated as a guest, honestly when I had questions or issues on this trip , I felt like I was a bother. She did get things taken care of but I was glad I didn’t have to reach out to her anymore than I did. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to go back. If you are looking for a quiet beautiful getaway this place has it all!
