Only 3 blocks to the beach. Dog and family friendly. House is elevated and surrounded by forest & wetlands.

Relax on the gigantic private back deck listening to murmurs of the ocean. A true bird watcher's paradise! No neighbors on two sides so you can really enjoy the peace and quiet of the Oregon coast. Deer and raccoons regularly walk through the yard. You will feel surrounded by nature, but it's Just a few blocks to shops, restaurants, and grocery store in downtown Rockaway Beach!

The house is designer furnished with playful colorful murals and high end touches. New Casper King Mattress in the main bedroom. Bunk bed in the second bedroom includes roll out trundle so there's room for everyone.

Super high speed WIFI using Starlink. "Cloffice" in the main bedroom closet tucks away out of site when not in use. It is fully equipped with Grovemade accessories and a sit-stand desk with chair. Perfect for work from anywhere!

Beautiful and quiet spot

This place is beautiful, quiet and well located. It’s close to the beach and the main Rockaway Beach boardwalk, yet isolated enough for a quiet peaceful stay. The place was clean, welcoming, well stocked with amenities. And my wife and I who are both pretty terrible sleepers were obsessed with the pillows. We ended up looking them up hoping to buy some for our home. No luck.

Week at the duck pond

We love this house. We came back to the duck pond this summer for the third year in a row. The unit is very clean, secluded, and only two blocks from the beach. It sleeps my wife and I and our four kids comfortably. Also, rockaway is a great jump off point for All things on the northern Oregon coast. Will definitely come back.

Great Location!

The house is great, and location was great - short walk to the beach and the main strip. I gave the house 5 stars overall but one thing that was mentioned by one of the guests is that non-slip mats need to be in the tubs or available. The only other "issue" was that the sofa was not comfortable at all... but we were out and about so weren't using it much.

Great experience for the second year

Stayed here for the second year in a row. The house is immaculate, very private and accommodated my wife and I and four kids really well. Very good beach access and rockaway is a great jump off point for the rest of the north coast area. This house has gotten more expensive unfortunately and this is the only downside.

Beautiful place!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place! It was perfect distance from the beach for easy walking. Dog friendly as well!

Great beach vibe!

We loved the location - the deck and layout was amazing. Could use a fire pit or gas grill just to add to the house. Only tiny issues was dishes needed washed again prior to use.

Great experience in a quiet beach town

My wife and I and our four kiddos stayed here for a week. The owner was very responsive to emails and phone calls and responded to all questions within an hour. The property was spotlessly clean and well-decorated. It had lots of games, puzzles, beach toys, etc. The beach was even closer than we thought and only took about 3 minutes to walk to. Compared to many of the other towns on the coast, Rockaway is quiet and there were times midweek when it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. This was a fantastic jump-off point to get to Cannon Beach, Depoe Bay, Manzanita, and all the places we wanted to visit while we were here. The back deck is incredibly spacious and opens up on a wetland with birds singing every morning. Given the wetland environment, I think I expected more bugs but we didn't get a single mosquito bite. You can't see any houses from the back deck and it felt like we were in the middle of a nature preserve. Very cool. Overall we had a fantastic week and will try to come back here next summer.

Duck Pond

We had an excellent stay at Duck Pond. The house was decorated super cute and is just as pictured on the inside. It is spacious and has everything you could think of. It was very well cleaned when we arrived. It is close to the beach- an easy walk across the highway (not busy at all and easy to cross with the crosswalk). It takes about 10 minutes to stroll there. It is walking distance to everything in Rockaway which was great! And the Oregon coast is just so beautiful. We had never been to the Oregon coast before and didn’t know what to expect. Rockaway is much quieter and smaller than Cannon and Seaside where we were originally going to stay and we liked that! It’s a short 30-45 min drive to those towns and we enjoyed our days there but it was nice to get back to the relaxed vibe of Rockaway. The only bummer was the house being built right next to ours. It took away from the serene scene we were hoping for when we arrived But, we befriended the owner and workers and they were very nice. They stopped working at 5 and were respectful of noise at night, so that was good! They did not work on the weekend. We took our teenage son and his friend for their graduation present and had a great time playing poker and monopoly (all games at the house). The beds were comfy and the porch was huge! The frogs started croaking at night and it was fun to listen to them. Don’t hesitate to rent this house. You will love it and the construction will probably be over by then!

Great Place to Stay and Play

Duck Pond is a unique property. It is super close to Rockaway Beach but yet secluded enough to offer a private getaway. This property has almost everything a family or couple needs to enjoy the Oregon coast. (Jen, please add a firepit and hot tub to the deck ;-) Everything is clean and well maintained with lots of space to spread out. Well be back next time we're on the Oregon coast.

Modern interior with natural setting

We loved sitting on the large deck, listening to all the birds sing and frog croak. Just across 101 from several beach access points. Kitchen was stocked well, beds were comfy, and most importantly soft towels that are made for human sized bodies. Jen even had some beach essentials to use (blanket and sand toys) that we loved borrowing. Great Rockaway weekend, thank you!

Weekend getaway

The property is a very close walk to the beach and shops. We saw lots of hummingbirds all around the house. The weather wasn’t the best so we enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing some games.

Beautiful house

This home was perfect for our trip. It is nicely appointed on the inside and well stocked with everything you could need. The back deck is very private. The location is good for exploring up and down the coast.
