Cloud Nine at Tamarron Resort (Lodge #343) is our updated studio condo with kitchenette, conveniently located near the resort amenities including golf course, heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. 10 min to ski resort, 20 min to downtown Durango. Wifi speeds are 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

This studio condo has views of cliffs and golf course. There is a queen bed, sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, wood floors, and electric fireplace. The kitchenette has two stovetop burners, full-sized fridge, microwave, toaster, crockpot, blender, coffee pot and electric tea kettle. The updated bathroom has a walk-in shower. Dining table with 4 chairs. Located on north end of main lodge with easy access to the community deck with outdoor dining area, community grill and Engineer Mountain views.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

AWD or 4WD is recommended in Winter (Dec-Mar).

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would definitely stay here again! Aside from a comfy, updated condo, the mattress was comfortable and there were blackout curtains, making for some great rest after a day of hiking. with restaurants right onsite, we didn't have to venture into town much, but that was an easy drive. The VRC staff was always very responsive, friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Durango Vacation

We stayed her while on vacation. When we got there the elevator was broken but was fixed by the next day. We really enjoyed the view and our stay.

Great place

Loved the place. It's not a full kitchen but we made it work. Great location. Some crabby neighbors didn't like the kids - I think they were permanent residents ☺️

When we needed bedding for the pull out (both closets were locked in the unit) the front desk staff were helpful at getting us what we needed. We would stay here again!

Nice area, bad smell

We were overwhelmed with the smell of dog as soon as we opened the door to the room. We couldn’t stay in the room with that smell, so the property manager was very helpful in finding us new accommodations. View was nice. Area was safe and nice. Place would have been great if not for the smell.

False Advertisement

It was a cute little room but we did not walk into what we had booked and paid for. The original booking showed two beds and a couch. When we walked in there was only a bed and a couch. My children had to sleep on a metal bed and a blow up mattress that kept going flat. The host was very rude about it and did little to accommodate us. The room we stayed in was less cost than what we originally paid. We definitely got scammed.

Just what we needed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 1st time to Durango & we loved it! Our room had everything we needed & was spacious. During our stay we were checked in on to make sure there wasn't anything we needed. We had no problems at all checking in & front lobby & pool staff were very friendly. This location is up on the mountains & very peaceful. Only thing is, you have to drive 20 minutes into town if you get hungry after 8 pm but we really didn't mind it. We will love to go back again & stay here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property sits in the beautiful mountains outside of Durango. It has very nice facilities and the staff are quite friendly and helpful. The different condos can very in quality of furnishings which we found out this trip. Due to scheduling we had to stay in two different apartments. Unfortunately this unit had the softest beds I’ve ever slept in. It was literally like a hammock with zero support. I ended up sleeping on the floor all theee nights and my daughter and wife slept there for two of them. Facilities, location and grounds are awesome, but this unit really needs to invest in some quality mattresses. I seldom complain and travel extensively for my job and have never had a similar situation where the floors were more comfortable than the beds. Again probably it and miss with the lodging here depending on how it is furnished. Our first unit was outstanding in every way. This unit was clean and nicely kept just the beds need thrown out and replaced with quality mattresses.
