The property itself was absolutely awesome.. the location in relation to Paris Island is super easy to navigate.. just exit the neighborhood to the right, take a left at the light (hwy21) and follow it out of town, in about 5 or so minutes you’ll see the Paris Island exit, which takes you straight to the main gate… Also, local shopping is not too far away, and there’s a FANTASTIC sandwich shop (Alvin Ord’s) right around the corner. The inside of the house has a few minor quirks that need attention like the sitting room ceiling fan is severely out of balance, and the towel rack over the master bedroom sink falls apart with the slightest touch, and the couch needs replaced.. sheets of plywood under cushions does not fix a broken down couch.. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nicely appointed, however there were no tv’s or radios in the rooms so the sounds of the nearby hiway was pretty noticeable, simple alarm clock radios would easily remedy this. Also this property has two porches with sitting areas, with the back porch being screened in.. we didn’t use either of them due to the layer of dust and grit that had been left on the furniture.Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely rent again, and recommend it to friends.. bottom line is we saved about 400 over renting hotel rooms.
