Nice place, nice people

House is great. Was there for a fishing tournament with two boats. Neighborhood is a little tight but ample room at the house for the rigs. Good neighbors that understood getting in and out during the early mornings and evenings.

Great House in Gilbertsville

This is a great property, clean, and very close to The Moors Resort and Marina. Very open space and a great outdoor patio. We'll be back for sure!

Excellent house!!

Very nice place. We had a small group of friends and really enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was nice and clean and very well setup. Highly recommended

Beautiful house with lots of room. Owners were very attentive and helpful. Use of four kayaks plus trailer to transport them is a nice bonus.

Great house close to marina.

We always enjoy our yearly vacation to Kentucky Lake. Typically we have stayed at Moors Marina lodge but our family has outgrown the rooms. We decided to start looking for houses nearby and found this amazing place only 1/2 mile from the marina where our boat was docked. This house has everything you need and then some. It is very clean and well furnished. The owners are very nice and communicated with me several times before checking in and shortly afterwards to make sure everything was good. It’s only been a few days since we left but we are already looking ahead at next year and plan to return.

Great Place to Stay

The property was so easy to find with GPS. There was plenty of parking for our 4 cars and it was easy to enter with the code. The outside was just as described with a nice fire pit and seating. The owners supplied graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows and nice skewers for s'mores. We ate most of it the second night! The inside was very nice and clean. They had a full kitchen with everything described as well as plenty of towels and wash cloths in the two bathrooms. You might want to bring ear plugs if you wake up easily. There is a rooster right across the street and he struts his stuff early! He didn't wake me but he did my husband:) You can also rent a golf cart to travel to the marina but we didn't need it. We'd stay there again!

Our stay at Kentucky Lake

Overall things were fine and we enjoyed out stay. The golf cart and kayaks were a big plus. Was well decorated and furnished. The big issue was the horrible smell coming from the laundry room. It was so bad we stayed in the front room and did now use the master bedroom area. Candles and a flower bouquet helped mask the odor. The online listing had exterior views of the house but no views from the house. Had we seen what the views were going to be from the house we would have continued to look for a place to rent. The neighbors were not a problem but the setting was a little seedy.

Five Star Gem

My daughter and her two kids joined us on a much-needed vacation. It was the first time we had spent quality time together since the pandemic. I got to hug my grandkids!! The house is located in a very tranquil older neighborhood. We woke up every day to chirping birds and fresh air. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We literally didn’t have to call Danny or Jennifer for anything. But they contacted us to check in to see if we needed anything. The backyard is perfect for family gatherings and there is a very friendly dog next door named Bailey. The kids fell in love with him. The back yard has these very comfortable Adirondack rocking chairs around the fire pit. They even provided the firewood and a special surprise related to the firepit (I won’t ruin the surprise). The house was 100% clean and appeared to be brand new construction with brand new appliances. The furniture and beds were amazing and very comfortable. I haven’t slept that well in a long time. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance, pan, or utensil you could need. This house could have been on one of the HGTV shows as a house make-over. It had many professional touches and lots of quality upgrades. On our way there, we picked up the groceries at Walmart that we had pre-ordered so we didn’t have to lug it all from Michigan. I’ve never spent time in Kentucky and was totally amazed at how friendly and kind everyone was. Southern charm is amazing and made the vacation even more enjoyable. Suggestions: Use the Moors Marina and Ralphs restaurant often. On a non-windy day, rent a pontoon boat (call ahead) and go east to the Land Between the Lakes. Then head south along the shoreline slowly and quietly. You will spot the most beautiful eagles. We saw six in one trip. We never found a beach, so plan on being in the boat on the trip. The Mexican restaurant in Benton is delicious and great service.

Great house

We had a great time. They had a full kitchen with even a slow cooker. They provided the makings for s'mores. We rented a boat at the Moors marina. Everyone was friendly. The kids went horse back riding at a place Between the Lakes which they had fun. Thanks for a great house to enjoy our vacation!

The Six Sisters

We traveled to Gilbertsville for a family member’s 70th birthday celebration which coincided with the 4th of July. This meant there was a real good reason to have 2 parties at our local family’s home. In between we all met up in downtown Paducah for candle creating and dinner. It was a wonderful 3 night stay for the six sisters.

Nice property

Fishing trip

Great little spot close to The Moors!

Very pleased with this property and our time spent at KY Lake. The house was very clean and had all of the amenities and then some! The owners left nice little spa gifts for relaxing, there wasn’t an item they didn’t have in terms of needing for cooking. Beds were comfy and the outside was perfectly cozy with the rocking chairs by the fire pit. I’d rent again for sure!

Great stay

We loved this little place. It was decorated so cute and we had plenty of room for 5 ladies. The house was very clean and very well stocked with everything you needed. They even left us snacks and coffee. Great communication with the host. They even left us a surprise gift! Would definitely stay here again!

Girl Trip

Six longtime "girl" friends (in our 70's) took a shopping trip and spent the night at this great house. The house was lovely, very clean and meticulously equipped. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it. The owner was very accommodating!

Great Short Stay

Had a great time over Labor Day Weekend. House was great, liked that each had their own bedroom. Golf Cart and Kayaks were a huge hit. Danny was great on answering all my questions. Close to Moors Marina with a quick ride in the cart.
