We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly sized home. The home is conveniently located near both the beach and bay and restaurants were in walking distance. The home was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Allyson was very responsive to our various questions.

We had the best time down the shore!! The house was clean and cozy, the host was extremely nice and responsive, but the location of the home was the absolute highlight!! Walking distance to just about everything - beach, restaurants, shopping, activities, you name it! I would be so happy to stay there again! Thanks for everything, and we can’t wait to be back in the future!

Stayed here with friends for a few days and we had a blast. The house is in a perfect location for beach and restaurants/bars. Beds are comfy, AC works great, nice outdoor space, clean and spacious. Pictures don’t do it justice.

House was perfect and the location couldn’t have been better! Beach passes, beach wagon and chairs made our time at the shore so memorable. Alyssa was a wonderful host. Highly, highly recommend

After figuring out the cooling system, we all enjoyed out stay. Clean, lots of drawer space, convenient kitchen. I didn't like having 1 house key which we needed to keep in a lockbox when we left separately for the day. Overall, nice area, short walk to the beach!

House was clean and good location to beach and restaurants the inside was great. The icemaker was broken but a liquor store on the corner so close to buy ice. The outdoor space was horrible upstairs and the back patio was filthy weeds, mildew on the fence, a broken door mirror leaning on the fence and leaves all over from the fall! I ran out bought a hose which there was none to wash off feet , chairs and beach stuff. Upstairs deck had rusty chairs and floor and rug dirty we did not use the outdoor space. Would have been a 5 if the outdoor space had some attention.

We did want to clarify a few points regarding the outdoor space. The property is equipped with an outdoor shower specifically for rinsing off after the beach, which is why a hose is not provided. We also perform seasonal landscaping and cleanup before each summer season, so we were surprised by the comments regarding leaves and weeds, as this has not been an issue reported by other guests. The outdoor rug is intended for outdoor use and, like any outdoor furnishing, may collect some sand or dirt during the season. We regularly maintain the space and will certainly inspect it again to ensure everything continues to meet our standards. We also wish these concerns had been brought to our attention during your stay. Had you contacted us, we would have been happy to address any issues immediately so you could fully enjoy the outdoor space. Thank you again for staying with us, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue to provide a great experience for our guests.

Great location w/comfortable accommodations

We booked a few weeks before our stay and were very happy about the property. The 2 large bedrooms are comfortable and the third is small but fine. It was walking distance to beach and many restaurants & shops. Highly recommend!

Great location! Clean and awesome host!

Had a great weekend away! Beds were comfortable (could use a few extra pillows), fully stocked, clean, easy walk to main strip and beach! Of note the one full bath is downstairs, but still nice to have 2 full baths accessible in home. Would certainly stay again!

Margate vacation

Great location. Easy walk to beach. Two minute drive to paddleboard rentals and inflatable water park. 1/2 mile to local restaurants. Short drive to Ventnor and Atlantic City. One block from Longport. House was comfortable and owner was nice to work with.

Convenient, clean, great location

Our family of five plus dogs started here for a week of fun on the beach. The property including all the linens were very clean and well-kept. Check-in was seamless. Host was very easy to communicate with through the VRBO app. Outdoor shower was super useful after a long day at the beach, just a short stroll down the block. I'd never been to margate before but the beach and surf eerr excellent, the town itself was very nice and quiet, and it's a short ride to the boardwalk amusements at ocean city.

We didn’t know the main bathroom was shared and in the hall. No private bath in master suite. 3 rd bedroom no closet. Converted. Deck off master was a bonus. Great location and easy beach access.

Better than Imagined

This was one of the best properties we have stayed at using VRBO. Allyson, the host, was so helpful and responsive. The property is gorgeous. It was spotless and cozy. The home had plenty of linens and kitchen amenities. The central air was refreshing after a long day at the beach. The hosts thought of everything down to the tiniest detail. For example, they had fully stocked handsoap ready at every sink. The walk to the beach was shorter than expected and very easy for us to do even with a one year old and tons of beach gear. We loved the peaceful neighborhood. The home is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and miniature golf. We had an amazing stay and hope to return. I'd give this property more than 5'stars if I could!!

Good and potentially better in the future

Beach house amenities were lacking. Beach chairs were sized for children, not adults. Back deck and outside shower needed to be power washed. We never used it due to appearance. A garden hose would help tenants keep sand out of home and clean beach chairs. Listing should mention that the three bedrooms share one bathroom on second floor. The second bathroom was on the first level and not convenient for older guests at night. Parking was good and front deck was comfortable. Location was outstanding.

Great place - best for heavy sleepers

This property was perfectly located and was extremely charming! All of the amenities were just as listed on the Vrbo site, but there is no way to know that the A/C is very loud, and the ceiling fan is even louder. The back bedroom has the outside A/C unit next to it, so every time the A/C kicked on, it would wake up our daughter. So we put her in another bedroom, and the ceiling fan (when on) was very noisy. She did not sleep well during our stay, which made it hard for us to sleep. This place is best suited for folks that can sleep through noise - or maybe it’s better in the winter, when A/C and fans are not needed. Other than these things, it was a lovely spot!

Hi there thanks for your review. City regulations require AC units to be installed on platforms above the flood plane. There is only one spot for the condenser on our property and due to the city’s requirements, it can’t be changed. I had my handyman check on all ceiling fans and none of them are making unusually loud noises, just the normal low hum ceiling fans normally emit. Thanks for your comments.
