Adorable 2 bedroom suite - 200 steps to beach, car available

ALMOND TREE VILLA: Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We are located on a quiet, dead end street that culminates at the beach, just a 200 meter walk away.
The suite has a private entrance, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, open plan kitchen, living and dining area with a dedicated work space and a large elevated wrap around deck overlooking the garden. One of the bedrooms has a private entrance to the deck.

Rental car is available on property, most reasonable rates on island. Drivers must be at least 25 years old.

There are two other guest suites on the property with community laundry facilities, patio and yard.
Our property is very charming with lush green gardens all around. We are walking distance from Port Lucaya Marketplace for restaurants, shopping and nightlife.

NOTE: We are located in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, not Nassau (which is on a different island)

Friends get away!

Such a fabulous place! Perfect location, Jens is a fantastic host, having a car available is priceless. Third trip to Freeport and can’t wait to come back. Love the people and love the beaches!

Amazing Beach house

Awesome experience. Very clean, Jen the host was most gracious and accommodating . 200 ‘ to the beach. Car rentals avail on site.Great relaxing experience.

Very nice two bedrooms two bathrooms apartment.

This place was even nicer than on the pictures. Short walk to Port Lucaya, short walk to the beach (1-2 minutes). Sweet and helpful host. We would like to return!

Wonderful Place to Stay

Host was exceptional. Rental was all we hoped for and more. Easy walk to the beach. Close to grocery store, restaurants, Lacaya Market, and more. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend with an A++

Enjoyed the stay. Has everything to make you feel at home. My only issue was with the wifi. It worked the first night I got there then stopped. It didn’t work again until my last night there. But other than that, my experience was 10/10

Family Funeral

The stay and place was awesome. We visited Freeport for a funeral. I had a family of 5 people there. The place was very nice, clean, and the walk to the beach was a very serene experience. A family member returned there a couple of weeks after I left. They loved it so much. Would love to come back.

Very Nice Stay

Nice location, large spacious unit close to beach. Availability of car to use was a great plus. Jens was helpful and was able to assist me with places to eat and where to pick up groceries. Outside door lock was a problem that needs to be addressed. And normally soap or shower gel are available in rental homes which were not made available here. But other than that I would recommend it for a great Grand Bahama vacation!

Great spot near the beach!

Our 2nd time staying here! Once at the lower unit and this time at the upper. Both were amazing and will 100% be staying here each time we come back

The property was very comfortable and clean and a good quiet location with just 200 yards from a beautiful beach The property owner was very helpful and a lot of good local restaurants close by We would definitely recommend this property and plan on visiting again

The Best!

Beautiful. Newly remodeled, steps from the beach, large wrap around balcony, overlooking garden. Helpful, friendly and capable host! Quick to meet every need. Lovely, peaceful and quiet and close to everything … beach, restaurants, Lucayan market. Best all around stay in years of visiting the Bahamas!

Wonderful property. Very close (walking) to beautiful beach that is nearly empty. Having the car is very important for grocery shopping, sight seeing, etc. All as advertised. Would definitely return.

Beach Bahama Dream

Our two week vacation on the Grand Bahama Island was amazing. Susan was an excellent host, she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The home was perfect, bright, clean with linens, towels and even beach chairs, we needed for nothing. The vehicle was a must and provided an economical transport to tour the island end to end. Mid-February 2023 Stay

Found the property to be spotlessly clean and very well equipped for a long stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen although, we ate out for our 3 day stay. The property manager was happy to accommodate a special request for our anniversary. A very quiet neighborhood and just a short walk to beautiful Lucaya beach. All in all a very clean and well kept property. Would certainly stay here again.

Lovely Home Centrally Located to Everywhere

We had a great stay at this lovely spacious 2 BR home. We LOVED that the windows and doors were all screened to let in the ocean breeze and you could hear the ocean from the home, most times. Close to everything and even more convenient with a vehicle. Our favorite places and experiences were off the tourist grid: don't hesitate to ride out to the East and/or West End of the Island, with great sightseeing. If you're looking for fresh local bread, baked daily - (1) Bread for Life (they can even slice it for you); (2) Ronnie's Bakery (breads and island pastries - yummmm) and Harbour Lights Bar & Restaurant for tasty inexpensive lunches (Pinder's Point area - near cruise port); Terry's Conch Shack (Smith's Point) hands down the best conch salad with strips of tender conch not minced and lost in tomatoes; MacAttack Restaurant & Bar (Mack Town) great BBQ Friday/Saturday; Bishop's Seafood restaurant (High Rock - towards East End) is very good and also inexpensive; so talked to the locals for recommendations and they did not disappoint. We also got a private sunset cruise with Brian Moss (which can be scheduled from a stand at the Port Lucaya marketplace next to Big Daddy's Conch Shack). Book this place, if you want privacy, peace and quiet, you will not be disappointed. Thanks, Jens, Susan and Ricardo. The very best for 2023!

A short walk to the beach.

Lovely Property and Hosts

The unit was beyond my expectations. It was not only spacious with a huge l-shaped deck, 2 bedrooms and open space living room, dining room and kitchen surrounded by windows but was also tastefully decorated, something you don't often find in Freeport. The general impression on entering is one of light, space and harmony. And the best part - right near the beach.
