Felt like home with all the luxuries of vacation

Thank you for a wonderful week! Your home is beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is stocked with quality items you would find at home, and there was plenty of everything to accomodate our large party. We loved the hot tub, flat top grill, water toys, boat and tube, and the chess board! All five kids learned how to play, and we even created a bracket for a tournament! The kids loved the loft, and the parents loved the true staircase.

This cabin is the perfect place to gather and enjoy the north woods. The kitchen is well stocked and gorgeous, the house has 3 fireplaces, the lake view is stunning, the bedrooms are all cozy, the house is so clean and absolutely beautiful. We loved our stay so much and can’t wait to go back! The location is so close to Eagle River and there is a great bar/restaurant within walking distance which is nice. I can’t say enough about this stunning property and the hosts!

We loved this cabin!!

We loved our stay! Everything was perfect. We had everything we needed and lots of space for the 12 of us!! The kitchen had everything including the huge table and chairs, to enjoy many games and family dinners and breakfasts around it. We hope to be back next test year!

The Perfect Spot for a Girls Getaway

We rented Dollar Lake Retreat to get away with some girlfriends! There were 7 of us and it was the absolute perfect winter spot. We love that the house can be the destination itself, but it's also 5-10 minutes from town with so many things to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, snowshoed around the lake, watched the dear out the window with our morning coffee, played games, cooked good food and enjoyed the beautiful kitchen space and SO much more. The details of this beautiful spot are our favorite part. Angie and Kevin have thought of everything. We cannot recommend Dollar Lake Retreat enough in all seasons!! Seriously, grab your favorite people and book a few nights. You won't regret it!!

Amazing family vacation venue!

This property is a perfect, large group, gathering place in the North woods! The lake house is very well appointed with everything you can imagine from kitchens appliances and dishes to selves fo games for all ages. The boat house has outdoor games, ping pong and many life vests in every size for people who enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, floating on available water craft. Beds are very comfortable. The indoor and outdoor lighting is well planned for ambiance and safety. We keep coming back as there really isn't anything comparable!

Amazing Northwoods Haven!

We LOVED our stay at Dollar Lake Retreat! It's a dream of a home away from home in the North Woods: perfectly cozy AND spacious. We spent lots of time at the big kitchen table playing games and lingering over meals near the fireplace. We loved the vintage decor and all the cozy nooks with cushions, blankets, good books, and chat packs at every turn. The beds were super comfortable, and we really appreciated the cotton sheets. Even the weather was heavenly, with a snowstorm that gave us a thrill both indoors and out. Angie met us on arrival to help carry bags in and tell us about the house, and she kept in touch during our stay to make sure we had all we needed. We would have been happily snowbound, but we were grateful to Angie and Kevin for coming over to shovel and plow. This was our favorite place to stay EVER, and we'll be back! We're already planning to bring our Southern cousins up next winter.

Fall Stay

My girlfriends and I stay in Eagle River every fall. Angie and Kevin’s Dollar Resort so far is out favorite. As moms trying to relax the cleanliness and decor at this resort really made us feel like we were being treated to luxury. Hope to go back next year with better weather conditions to really take advantage of the lake and fire pit area. Lovely place.

Amazing house full of luxuries

Great house, plenty of room to spread out and relax. Tons of great amenities. Nothing was spared in this property, multiple coffee makers, completely stocked kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of linens, you name it they have it! We will definitely be back!

Winter Family Getaway

Dollar Lake Retreat was the perfect spot for us to stay for a Christmas week of family fun. The large kitchen with its fireplace and long table was the gathering place every morning and evening for us to share time together. The views of dollar lake were a beautiful and ever changing winter landscape to enjoy. Our hosts took care of everything down to the smallest detail, and even decorated the house with Christmas Trees. We will definitely be back!!

The perfect Wisconsin winter getaway

We absolutely loved our time at Dollar Lake Retreat and will definitely be back. The home is so intentionally designed and thoughtfully stocked. We had everything we could possibly need: chargers, books, games, a fully stocked kitchen, an abundance of cozy blankets, Bluetooth speakers, and even stuffies for the kiddos that they argued over all weekend. I loved the two different fireplaces- one in the main living and one upstairs, which was the perfect place to curl up and slowly wake up in the mornings or wind down at night. The kids loved the loft area, and I loved that there were bedrooms right at the foot of the stairs so I could be close by. The lake views from the main living room and kitchen were unbeatable. The hosts were so hospitable, available if we needed in anything, and met us at check in and gave us the full tour. Everything about the experience felt elevated, which is hard to find in the northwoods. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It is a great amount of space for multiple families to come together and make memories.

This cabin was a special experience for our party of 10. We had a sibling reunion and the cabin was exceptional. Very clean, beautiful remodeled kitchen and 3 baths. Great coffee bar and extra fridge for drinks. Beds very comfortable with quality linens and pillows. The decor is a retro modern cabin decor that made it cozy and beautiful. Three gas fireplaces. Property owner great with communication and addressing issues. Had good pizza across the street (Heid’s) and the road outside the property was perfect for morning walks and deer sightings. Honey Bear was a favorite restaurant- good burgers at Smugglers. This was the best rental we have ever had.

Multi family summer vacation

Dollar Lake retreat was perfect for our summer family vacation! Angie and Kevin are super accommodating and make sure you have everything you need to have a fun, relaxing time! The house was very clean and there was plenty of room for our group of 14. We enjoyed the privacy of the lake and were able to catch lots of fish. The availability of the pontoon boat was a nice option as well! Definitely would recommend!

Week of Relaxation

The Dollar Lake Retreat is an amazing Northwoods getaway that gives you all of the traditional Northwoods feels combined with all the modern conveniences of a 5 star cabin. Dollar Lake is a beautiful quiet lake filled with great fishing, swimming, and water sports. The natural woods are filled with deer, birds, and trees that fill the air with fresh pine. This was an unforgettable week for our entire family!

Immaculate home stocked with everything you need for a fabulous stay!

This property is definitely a great choice for your family vacation. We spent the week here in early June. The weather was not great, but there was still plenty to keep us occupied. There is a ton of board games and since there is plenty of room, we weren’t getting in each other’s way. The huge kitchen stocked with every pan, bowl, utensils and small appliance made cooking a breeze. The owners were very accommodating and readily available for anything we needed. The lake is great for fishing both by boat and right off the dock. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

The most peaceful I have felt in as long as I can remember!

Dollar Lake Retreat is truly the most peaceful retreat. The lake in the winter is still and quiet and we spent hours sitting in the cozy sunroom looking out at the lake and snow. There is nothing the hosts forgot, and there is even more than you could hope for. You literally do not need to bring anything other than your personal belongings. Our group kept saying that it was all so thoughtful and intentional that we can't even believe it isn't their full-time home because it would be so hard to share. Even every piece of decor is thoughtful. The house layout is perfect for a group. The kitchen is separated from any of the sleeping areas, so if a group is hanging out in the kitchen, no one sleeping would be interrupted. There are two completely different living areas. One is more of the "fun room" with games and a big tv. The other is the peaceful quiet room where the "old folks" hung out. The kitchen is big enough for everyone! One pleasant surprise was the sleeping loft. We were a bit nervous to rely on it for sleeping as it was open to the floor below, but because the sleeping areas are so isolated, anyone sleeping up there would have just as much privacy and quiet as the bedrooms. Our teenage son would choose that room again! We truly cannot wait to come back!

Pond Hockey

Angie and Kevin are not only great to work with but also incredibly accommodating throughout the whole process. They are committed to their guest's comfort and amenities while staying at the property. We came as part of the USA Hockey Pond Hockey Tournament and the proximity to the rinks is ideal. We will be returning. House is updated and appointed nicely. I can't say enough good things about the hosts - they even came to the tournament to take pictures. Thank you again and will see you again.

Dollar Lake Retreat is a stunning, unique property that is unlike any vacation property.

Not a detail was missed in decorating and preparing this home with care and thoughtfulness. The guest was number one in all of the decisions made. Cleanliness, comfort, views, privacy, and enough cooking and bathroom utensils to make you feel as if you are in your own home. The inside and outside of this property is well lit (when needed). Nothing was missed from easily functioning TV, phone chargers everywhere, (again, if needed). A beautiful outdoor fire pit, along with three i door fireplaces with one in the kitchen, provide a sense of warmth throughout your fall and winter stay. Cant say enough about this property.
