Welcome to Kettleby , a historic village in King City, Greater Toronto Area.The village of Kettleby is a peaceful, safe and scenic place with lots of fun! You can watch polo and book a riding lesson in Toronto Polo School, enjoy the delicious food in the famous Kettleby Bakery and buy fresh eggs, vegetables and fruits in Round The Bend Farm. And don't forget the golf courses, equestrian farms, winery, lake, trails and Upper Canada Mall nearby.
This cozy and elegant English villa is situated on 0.5 acre with spacious first-floor master bedroom suite, inside and outside office space, lovely sunroom, beautiful fenced backyard, BBQ, fire pit and long driveway.
Awesome location lots of fresh air, greenery and beautiful fall color, everything is close by within around 10 minutes drive but feel like you are in the countryside. Just 5 minutes from HWY 400 and 30 minutes from Toronto Person Airport.
The open concept living , dining and kitchen area is located first floor with master bedroom, which has spacious office, sitting area, a full bathroom and an individual place for air mattress. The second and third bedrooms are on second floor with a full bathroom. The sun room connects indoor and outdoor space smoothly for some peaceful time.
Only the number of guests on the reservation is the number of people allowed at the property, if have any visitors, need to confirm with the Host prior to Booking.
BBQ Grill is on patio and the guests need to bring their own gas.
Make sure you know the location of the Fire Extinguisher and know how to use it before you use the fire pit. Please don't move the fire pit near to the property, pay great attention when use it and make sure the fire is fully extinguished after using it.
Please don't leave trash in the fire pit when check out.
Guests need to bring their own wood for the fire pit.
Guests will park in driveway and no garages will be available.
Parties and events are strictly not permitted. The only exception is quiet wedding-day preparation stays (e.g., getting ready for a nearby ceremony).

Beautiful picturesque stay

Would highly recommend this space, super responsive host and quaint, thoughtful details to suit our family. Will be looking to book again when we’re back in the gta!

Place was nice and opened, beds were all comfortable, and the bathrooms were nice.

It was a great and easy stay

The host is so sweet!! And very responsive! Everything we needed was there and well organized, which made the stay easy and pleasant! The backyard is beautiful!

Home away from home

Great home just outside of Aurora - we brought our furry child, and she loved playing ball in backyard! Lots of room for our non-furry kids too! House well equipped with everything you need, and manager extremely responsive. Really lovely place!

Beautiful Property!

Helena was an amazing host! We used the property to get ready for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect. Very clean, exactly as listed. Easy check in and check out and great communication from Helena. Highly recommend!

Great Location

This was a great location and home base for our family adventures. With the Go Train in King City it was convenient to go into Toronto and reasonable commutes to Canada Wonderland and Toronto Zoo. A very rural and quiet setting but very close to necessary amenities. The house was very comfortable for our family of eight.

Just lovely!

We spent a few days at this sweet home during our honeymoon. What a gorgeous area! The villa is clean, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The outdoor space is serene and beautiful. The sunset views are spectacular. Helena was so easy to communicate with, prompt and kind. Check in & check out were a breeze. Definitely recommend this property.

Peaceful Setting/Convenient Location

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this adorable cottage, which is more spacious than it looks from the outside. Property is well-stocked with items you might need in the kitchen, including chopsticks, which we were so happy to find when DoorDash forgot them. There's exercise equipment, a fenced backyard, grill, fire pit, great water pressure. It's also convenient to a lot of amazing restaurants with plant-based options and just a short drive to Toronto. Highly recommend.

BEAUTIFUL HOME

I love Helena Home, she made my family and I feel comfortable in her house and we will never forget it since it was a special date for us on having a dinner to share memories with our special people on our engagement. Her home is clean , cozy and she’s very responsive whenever we needed to have communication with her. We wish we could go back on summer because her house has a beautiful backyard. I will definitely recommend to book her place.

King Property Review

There is a very clear reason as to why I rated my stay with a perfect score, and that is because the owner went absolutely above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect for my stay. I rented out her home for my birthday, as I wanted to do something rather intimate and comfortable this year to celebrate. Helena did everythign in her power to ensure that we were all cozy and accomodated. The property itself was clean, beautiful, spacious, and very well-kept. She even went out of her way to provide us all with slippers and a number of additional things to really tie everything together, and make the weekend celebrations perfect. The check-in was easy, and she was always open to communication if there were any questions whatsoever. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to stay in her beautiful home again, and I would recommend it to anyone that I know as well. She made the entire weekend for my birthday spectacular, and it could not have been any better if not for her outstanding hosting capability!

WOW! A fantastic place to stay.

This house is just perfect. Most important is that we were very comfortable here. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Our stay was a mix of work business and personal business, and we got all our work done with ease. Master bed room has a lovely sitting area that one of us can use to take calls, and a small desk to do hours of remote work. Meanwhile, the dining room was my office. Spacious and bright, it felt like home (and home office) away from home. We had breakfast at the dining room table, and transitioned right into work mode. Really felt productive in such a well balance environment. The back yard and the sun room gave us the feeling of really in the country, even though we were only 25 minutes from Everything: Horse Country, Richmond Hill, Markham. These are the things that no one really talks about, but I appreciated about this English Villa. - Great water pressure - Fast internet - Easy access to highways, without being ON the highway - Every night, it felt like coming home, not a hotel Would recommend, and we would stay at the English Villa again.

My villa is quiet, clean, old and new mixed type and detail-oriented, and wish you will have a relaxing and fun stay!

This English-style countryside villa was built in 1955 on 0.5 acre lot in Kettleby, a historic village in King City, Greater Toronto Area.
The location is awesome with lots of greenery and peaceful countryside horse&hay farm scenery, everything is close by within around 10 mins drive but feel like you are in the countryside. Just 5 mins from HWY 400 , 30 mins from Toronto Person Airport, 40 mins to downtown Toronto and 1& half hour to Niagara Falls.
When I visited this property for the first time , I fell in love in it at the first sight ! The old wooden frame under the ceiling, the skylights in sun room and second floor washroom, the big trees in backyard, ... everything is so charming !
I wish every guest will enjoy the stay and have some sweet memory here.

Toronto Polo school is within the walking distance, you can follow their social media to know their early-evening polo event schedule or book some indoor& outdoor lessons for some fun. If they like you , they will invite you to visit their club to have a fun talk, maybe a drink.
The family-operated Kettleby Italian bakery, which also is located in walking distance, is a relaxing place to have coffee, tea, meatball sandwich, tiramisu... a place to chat with local people or the stop-by cyclists.
Drive about 5 mins to Round The Bend Farm to get some fresh eggs, vegetables and tarts! And kids can have chance to watch several farm animals and take part in their farm events.
Pine Farms Orchard is a must-go place for shopping local fresh vegetables and fruits, picking apples in fall and having a cup of hot chocolate in winter. A very romantic place !
The famous trail in Thirnton Bales Conservation area is about 5 mins driving away.
Bring your bicycle because the area is full of beautiful cycling routes and you can find cyclists pass by the villa in good weather days, especially on weekends.
The famous Upper Canada Mall is less than 10 mins driving.
