What an awesome house for our long term stay! Charles and Judy were amazing at making sure the property was clean and that we knew where everything was. The layout is really spacious and cozy. Plenty of bathrooms for our family of 6 which is a big plus. The backyard property is beautiful, and the pool is one of the nicest we've seen in a Vrbo. We would highly recommend this space for any stay!

Country like but still in the city

Super cozy, comfortable & quiet. Only a few minutes away from the highway, shopping & restaurants.

Perfect Location!

Perfect location for out of town family, pool! and plenty of parking for in town family to come over. Different grill options, outdoor seating overlooking the creek. The pool and margarita bar is where we spent most of our time. The house was well stocked, from kitchen having everything we needed to make big meals for a party of 16. The whole house is updated. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well decorated and had nice towels and other supplies. Game room was a big hit with the kids. We rent through VRBO often and this is one of our favorite stays! We’re already planning for next family get together.

The owners were great and ensured we were taken care of. Family went tubing, then spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in the pool. House met our needs perfectly.

Great for entertaining!

We enjoyed our stay! We loved the pool and patio! The host communicated well and made our stay pleasant. The rooms were great sizes and the beds were comfortable & clean! Would stay here again.

City/Country Getaway with Groovy Pool

We loved the roominess of the home and the game room that overlooks a groovy porch area with views of deer and birds- a peaceful spot for morning coffee or evening family hangouts. All bedrooms were comfortable & each had a tv. Big kitchen and dining area for eating and/or playing games. A fenced in area for pets was handy. I adored the pool area, especially after breakfast and early evening. The whole area was well-maintained and very clean. The host responded quickly to all questions and gave us a detailed tour of the place when we arrived. Great place for a wonderful Father's Day weekend!

The house was beautiful the pool... questionable

The home was beautiful, but we experienced problems with the pool during our rental. When we first arrived on 6/7, the pool was green and we couldn't even see the steps. During our tour with the owner we asked if it was still safe to swim in and we were told the pool was treated and would be clear in the morning. However, Mr. Lovett said it was SAFE to swim in. Some of us swam that afternoon. On 6/8, we got into the pool in the early afternoon. While swimming, the pool guy unexpectedly showed up and commented on how we were brave for swimming in the pool. He asked that we exit, and then he took a test of the water and told us it was not safe to be in. He shocked it while he was there and told us to give it at LEAST an hour before we got back in. This scared us, so we got out for 2 hours just to be sure. He told us that he informed the owner that it would NOT be clear by that day, which is what we were told. We rented the home mainly for the pool amenity, and we were very saddened that we were told it was not safe, it was murky during our whole stay and upset that we lost access to it for a portion of our stay. Other than the pool the house itself was beautiful and clean.

A great base

Judy and Charles have a wonderful spot here - close to lots of things to do while still having a country feel; our group loved watching deer come to feed on the property! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Fantastic property with lots of nice amenities.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The check-in process was as simple as could be and the property manager/s were wonderful! The highlights for us were of course the pool area which was TOP NOTCH! The pool was clean, as were the the pool furniture and the margarita bar/ pool shed. Some other highlights were the fantastic views off the back porch along with the wildlife in the morning and evenings. The bedrooms and the bathrooms we're all clean and seem to have been recently renovated. The bathrooms were also stocked with the essential toiletries and towels. Kitchen and the main lounge areas were very nice also, with ample space. Big fan of a large dining table. Also worth noting that all of the appliances were new and we had no issues with any of them during our stay. The property also has some games and arcades at the location which was a nice touch! Just a few minor negatives I'll mention. The house is a bit close to a somewhat busy road but it's not too bad. You might occasionally hear a loud truck drive by, which is to be expected. Also the kitchen pots and pans were not of the best quality but that's okay as well because they were serviceable. Overall we had a great stay and hope to be back when we're in the San Antonio area again. We do highly recommend this property!

Nice property for family getaway

Overall we had a really great time at this property. The pool and margarita bar was amazing and that is where we spent most of our time. The house itself was great also with all the amenities you could ask for. My only complaint is that the property is that it sits right on a busy road and that was not shown in the pictures.

Perfect for a fun getaway

It was nice having a private pool. The game room was fun for a break from the sun. AC worked really well. There is traffic noise but we were a large group there to celebrate a 21st birthday so it didn't bother us. Having a grill was convenient. Location was great. Close to restaurants and grocery stores.

Just ok

Told the owner I would not give a bad review. All we asked for were clean sheets with no hair embedded in them. Didn't think that was too much to ask for. They said we were not a good fit and to leave immediately with a full refund. We did...end of story.

Family Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home! The house was very nice, clean and extremely well stocked for your every need. The pool/Margarita bar was wonderful- very well maintained. So nice having a refrigerator so close by for food and drinks. The swing on the back porch was also very enjoyable in the mornings and evenings- so peaceful. And of course everyone loved the deer that visited all day. Last but not least- we loved being able to take our German Shepherds with us- made our getaway complete. Thank you Charles and Judy for sharing your home!

Creekside Haven

Overall very nice place to stay. The master room bed was a little lumpy and the sheets were lacking in thread quality. The hosts were very nice to us and it was great having our own Swimming pool and cabana. Great area with close access to restaurants and other amenities. Natural Bridge Caverns exit off I35 was just very close to our retreat.

Wonderful Home.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The location was close to a couple of parks where we could walk our dogs, and there were a number of great restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream shops within a few miles. We enjoyed the game room and the pool each day, and the beds were all very comfortable.

Great place for a family vacation

Our family had a great time. The hosts were very kind and attentive. Kitchen was fully stocked. The kids loved the play area and our two dogs loved the fenced area. Pool was our favorite part of the house. Lots of lounging and eating areas. We would book this property again for our next vacation.

Grandchildren friendly

This was a great property. Our three grandsons loved the game room while their parents and us hung out in the living room/kitchen area. Since the boys' bedroom was on that level, there was no need for them to come upstairs to the quiet adult bedroom level. Pool was great too and we didn't need to worry about any noise they made bothering neighbors. Kitchen was well appointed and all paper and cleaning products were provided. Judy quickly responded to our questions. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We wanted this to be a place that encouraged groups to relax and get away from every day life in a location that is pastoral yet near urban amenities. With so many activities available in San Antonio and New Braunfels 15 minutes of driving takes you to the best these cities have to offer. Come see for yourself what a great property this is for your vacation/entertaining needs!

Nothing compares to the attention to detail in this home. Beautifully appointed and welcoming, it is situated on over an acre of land, beautiful views, pool side bar and great out door spaces.

30+ foot Private Pool. We own 1/2 the creek bed, the other 1/2 is part of a gigantic Green belt that connects into parks and hiking trails that go on for miles. Home is comfortable with AC and all the amenities. Restaurants with memorable taste treats are just minutes away. Fun-time Margarita bar attached to the pool. Separately cooled sunroom with gaming tables and lush green views that go on forever. Three separate patio-type gazebo areas. Close to the worlds most famous waterpark Schliterbahn, and one of Texas' most famous attractions, Six Flags . Plus we're less than 30 minutes away from The San Marcos Outlet Malls ( tied even with the upstate New York Malls for the largest). These property owners are attentive and wanting your stay to be a positive experience.
