Loved the spacious townhouse; especially the private back patio. The spiral staircase was a bit of surprise but manage to get my luggage up and down with a bit of maneuvering. Must have car to get around.

Nice neighborhood, very quiet. Unfortunately, the rental is a bit warn out (old bed you can feel all the springs, no handle on fridge, broken microwave handle, furnitures that need a new coat of paint...). I thought VrBO (homeaway in the old days) maintain quality rentals from my past rental experience, alas no more. It's disappointing!

My son & I were in town for the LSU Football game and this was a great alternative to a hotel. Tucked away from all the commotion, yet close to everything. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Louis!

Very convenient to area shopping and also LSU. Everything was as described. As mentioned, the stairs going to the loft are tight, but I did not have any difficulty using them. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Great little place for 2!

Nice location, very safe area, yet still close to conveniences. Enjoyed the little patio area and having a kitchen. Host was very responsive .

Perfect place

The unit is located perfectly, close to shopping, tons of places to eat and of course tiger stadium. Definitely going to try and get this one again next time we are in BR.

Our new home away from home!

We were extremely pleased with our stay, the place was gorgeous inside and very clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The host was very nice and responded quickly. Next time we come to Baton Rouge, this is where we will book from now on. Highly recommend!

Ideal Solo Trip

This stay has surpassed my expectations in every way. The unit is perfectly suited for individual travelers or couples. Its location is exceptionally convenient, offering tranquility and proximity to numerous dining establishments. The host demonstrated exceptional responsiveness to my inquiries. The kitchen stove top and floor had not been cleaned. The left exterior side of the refrigerator was filthy. The living room wasn't properly vacuumed, evidenced by a pill (a former tenant's medication) in full view from the sofa, where I was seated. There were used cotton swabs on the floor by the TV, and an opened condom wrapper on the floor next to the bed (no condom within). By the way, my husband and I are in our 70s so have no need for a condom! The smoke detector had been ripped off the wall, leaving a hole which was stuffed with paper or white fabric.

Great location

Apartment was in a great location and clean. Unit was priced really good. Con- Spiral stairs were very narrow and not suitable for larger/heavier people or individuals with handicap issues.

Cozy place equipped with everything you need, great back patio. Bedroom in loft with spiral staircase was novel. Everything was well taken care of and updated. Backing to Bluebonnet Nature trails was a bonus. Will def return. with spiral staircase was novel

Nice property-tons of potential, BUT needs some TLC and a DEEP clean! PROs: Location, Access to property, and parking CONS: Property not cleaned before checkin, Trash still in can, dishes in dishwasher, dirty film on surfaces, dirty sinks, rings in toilets, debris/dead bugs on floors, nasty build up on keypad-thermostat-switch plates, crumbs on rug, rug itself GROSS—matted down with filth, random junk/trash in cabinets&drawers, INCLUDING A USED TUBE OF MALE ENHANCEMENT CREAM!! Etc, etc. Basic general maintenance needed throughout. Damaged light fixtures, terrible mattress-unattached headboard- cheap bedding. No handle on fridge door, broken handle on microwave, switch plates broken, smoke detector missing, broken lamp, fan remote nonfunctional, has coffee pot but no filters or coffee for it. Shower curtain yellowed & needs replacing, outdoor table has more rust than paint, a weed has grown through the decking for so long that is now a small tree. Needs SO much attention. I don’t understand WHY?!—it’s all things that can be easily improved upon?!?! And at a fairly low expense. It’s such a cute space and just needs some love!! To the owner- I can help do some work on it if you want to comp a few weekend stays in exchange for my time and materials. Let me know. Really hated to leave this review, but it’s my honest opinion. Reach out if you are interested.

Overall this is a lovely property. The kitchen was well stocked with appropriate pots, pans and dishes. The couch was comfortable and the tub was amazing! The tub is what sold me on this property in the first place and it did not disappoint. The host was very responsive. A few things to note: there were no hangers in the closet, the fan in the bedroom did not work, there are no diagrams on the stove top to tell you which burner was which, the spiral staircase is difficult to get luggage up and down. I would probably stay there again, but would bring a fan!

Nice extended condo stay

The property was very comfortable. I stayed for 2 1/2 weeks while visiting my sister who lives in town. The condo was in a nice, quiet area just off the Bluebonnet Nature Trail. The owner was very responsive when I had questions a couple of times. He came right over to get the ceiling fan going. I would stay here again if I needed a place in Baton Rouge. (Per the property description, there is no smoke alarm; you can see where it used to be on the wall but it's gone.)

Great Location

This is a great location for Baton Rouge, within 5 miles of everything BR has to offer. I was there for a bowling tournament and was just a short dash to downtown. While I was there, I wanted to visit the LSU campus, and was within 5 miles of there. If you needed to make a quick trip to a Wal-mart, one just a mile down the road. As for the townhouse, very clean and quaint. Only downside for me was the winding staircase to upstairs, mainly because of bad knees, but overall not that huge of a deal. Being on the end, had a nice patio area with a decent view of night sky. This is perfect for some one with a quick trip, even better when going to an LSU event. Definitely worth the trip. Host was easy to contact and was very quick when I arrived and internet wasn't working. Did a great job of contacting who needed to be contacted and internet was up in less than 30 minutes. Good host, good place, will put on list when I come back to the area.

The townhome was ok. The mattress was awful and needs updating. We bought a mattress topper and used it for our stay....Some helpful hints about the property itself.No visible lights at night on the complex or street lights nearby to see where you enter.No Unit number or ID is on the door.Chandelier in living room has three bulbs that come on and off. Randomly,sometimes they work,most not.TV for local service was random and kept switching to ads and then stalling?Handle on dryer came off,we put it back on.Microwave handle is broken.No handle on frig at all,open from the side.Rusted rack in freezer,icemaker had frozen solid sheet of ice,emptied and turned on icemaker for ice.Didn't use outside table,covered in rust?Some nail holes where mirrors or paintings were hung and removed.No smoke detector,apparently removed and painted over.Used towels and cleaning cloths in drawers and under the cabinets.. We left them there.No safety bar to enter bathtub/shower combo,just towel hangers. No safety strips on the tub bottom,very slippery. Used containers for lotion,shampoo etc and soap scum in tub area. Skylight is discolored and wood rotten around the frame.Towels smelled sour and when used and got wet,smelled worse.No bedbug covers on mattress or box spring. Thin cover on mattress,not a mattress pad.We travel frequently and when you first look,it's great,but unit needs TLC overall.
