Beautiful house and setting by a bubbling creek. The creek was louder than I expected in a good way. Hot tub and grill and everything that a great weekend needs.We are looking forward to making another trip to the area and staying here again in the not so distant future.

Cozy and relaxing!

Great layout and amenities. Enjoyed being around the fire places, both inside and out, as much as going out and exploring the Bryson City area. Would definitely do a repeat visit.

Awesome place

My husband and I are fairly frequent travelers. This place was without question- a top 5 stay for us. One of the most peaceful, tranquil, beautiful places we’ve escaped too. We will definitely be back.

Great Getaway

This was a great property. The house and grounds were very clean and nice. We loved the fire pit on the creek bank, the screen porch with fireplace and the hot tub. The property was very well taken care of and it had everything we needed.

Annual Fall Mountain Trip!

One of the best properties we’ve stayed at for over 20 years of visiting North Carolina! Home is beautiful, all the amenities you need are there. Be prepared this property is in a very remote location. Very private and peaceful. Highly recommend this location you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect Location for Relaxation

We spent the day exploring the area and the evenings enjoying the serenity of Watia Creekside. The screened in porch overlooking the creek was heavenly. We spent most of our time on the porch and enjoying good conversation, a rarity in this day and time. We look forward to our next stay at Watia. Wonderful Cabin

We came to the area to do the Polar Express and see a different part of the state. This was about one of the nicest cabins we have ever stayed. It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Very will stocked. Extremely comfortable beds. Highly recommend. Thinking of coming back when the lake is at summer pool.

A little slice of paradise

From the moment you pull in the driveway, you’ll never want to leave! Beautiful, clean cottage with everything you need. We loved the kitchen nook for eating and playing games; the loft with foosball table; the screened porch with gas fireplace; the hot tub and the wonderful sounds of the creek while enjoying the fire pit-complete with split wood!

Perfect Mountain Get Away

This house is really lovely for 4 adults and perhaps a child or 2. I do not recommend adults sleep in the upstairs portion. It is very well stocked, beautifylly kept, clean, tastefully decorated and really has everything you need for a fantastic time in the NC mountains. We would definately stay again when we are back in the area. The management company is super nice and very responsive.

Incredible Mountain Getaway

If you want to relax and get away from it all in a luxurious and comfortable mountain retreat, we highly recommend Watia Creekside. It was definitely hard to leave this lovely home - well equipped kitchen, comfy master suite, hot tub, stream, fire pit, indoor and outdoor fireplaces - it had everything we needed for a tranquil mountain getaway. The home is super nice, but not "fussy", and it was very pet friendly - our dog Sadie had a blast. Easy access to so many great spots to hike. Exactly what we were hoping for!

Beautiful Cabin & Setting

The property was beautiful and very clean. Our favorite part was sitting on the porch in front of the fireplace. The only thing we would change would be the garbage disposal routine. It would be nice not to have to take the trash to the dump ourselves. No complaints otherwise!

Worth every penny, HIGHLY recommended

This place was immaculate & our jaws hit the floor when we got to the property. I have stayed at many properties over the years & this checked ALL the boxes. Beautiful property & the stream flowing behind the house (next to the fire pit!) couldn’t have been more perfect. The hot tub was already heated & ready for us! Can’t say enough fabulous things about this place. WE WILL COME BACK! Book it, you will not regret it.

Watia Creekside Cabin - Fantastic Stay

My husband and I stay in Bryson City a week every year. We love NC Mountain Realty. The communication is outstanding and the response time is usually daily. Anytime we have had any issues, they were fixed the same day or the expectations were spelled out. Watia Creekside was a great location. Roads were easy to navigate and a perfect central location to multiple things to do. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad, locate shopping, and waterfalls. The creek was wonderful while sleeping at night. We will definitely be staying at Watia Creekside in the future. Thank you for a great experience.

Was very disappointed with the price I paid for this cabin per night. There was dog hair all over the floors. The furniture on the back porch stunk and had hair all over them. The lock box needs to be replaced to get the key out. The pillow cases did not smell fresh and top of stove needs to be cleaned.

If you are searching for a getaway that actually exceeds the photos, you have found it. Watia-Creekside Retreat didn’t just give us a place to stay; it gave our family a week of pure, unplugged magic. From the moment we pulled in, the sound of the rushing water acted as an immediate reset button for our stress.The heart of our experience was the creek. Our kids spent hours lost in their own world, scouring the rocks for salamanders and crayfish. Seeing them trade screens for the creek bed was worth the trip alone. While they explored, we found our own slice of heaven by the rock fire pit at the water’s edge. There is nothing quite like getting lost in a good book with a crackling wood fire on one side and the steady rhythm of the stream on the other.We were lucky enough to enjoy the Hot Tub and outside fireplace with the a Full Moon...simply majestic. Logistically, it’s a breeze. Unlike many mountain stays, the roads are easily accessible with no 4WD required, yet the "Quietude" makes you feel miles from civilization. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and, frankly, a little spoiled. It has ruined all other rentals for us. If you want a place where nature meets five-star luxury, book this now. We’re already counting the days until we can return again.
