Escape to the natural beauty of Pajaro Dunes Resort, where miles of pristine, quiet beaches meet the sparkling waters of Monterey Bay. This comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath beachlevel condominium offers a relaxing home base for up to four guests, with beautiful dune views and easy access to the beach.

The primary bedroom features a comfortable California King bed, while the guest bedroom has a Full-size bed. The condo also includes two full bathrooms, a cozy living area with a decorative electric fireplace, a washer/dryer combination, and a Weber BBQ. Recent updates include new carpet, paint, bathroom tile, and heaters.

The gated Pajaro Dunes community is a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy the coast. Step outside and wander along miles of uncrowded beach, watch shorebirds and coastal wildlife, search for shells, fly a kite, or simply listen to the waves. Whether you're looking for adventure or a quiet place to recharge, the peaceful setting makes it easy to settle into vacation mode.

Pajaro Dunes Resort offers a convenient guest lobby and gift store with services and amenities to make your stay even more enjoyable. The lobby offers concierge services, a coffee station, and a small market stocked with groceries, beer and wine, toiletries, and other vacation essentials. You'll also find beachwear and artisan clothing, jewelry, kites, gifts, and much more.

There was a good view of the beach and dunes, the beach access was only steps away from the condo. Everything was exactly how it was described in the listing. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again

It was an enjoyable stay. The location was great; centrally located to both Santa Cruz and Monterey, on the beach, and yet away from the crowds and noise of the city. The unit was quaintly furnished and had a good selection of housewares to meet our needs.

Peaceful and Relaxing stay

Cozy space with great beach access and very quiet. Lots of walking areas and several pickleball and tennis courts for the sports minded

The stay was without insane. Very lovely setting. Absolutely photo worthy.The condo had some minor issues but overall a pleasant stay.Hard to identify where the convenience store is located as well.Cheers.

Great spot!

Pajaro Dunes is quiet and beautiful. This specific property is clean, everything worked well, and had a well-stocked kitchen an cleaning supplies you might need. It also has a washer and dryer, not pictures but definitely handy for a 4 night stay with kids. We had a great time!!

Good location

A little old and run down. Location ok easy walk to the beach. Several things did not work in the property.

Great location...tired condo

The location is awesome!! Walks on beach 3 times a day!! The house needs some TLC. Drawer in kitchen broken, the slats for the bed in second bedroom aren't long enough so the mattress kept curling off the side of the bed. The slider worked so hard we thought it was broken. The master bedroom blinds were broken... but we fixed those...I think!! The place just needs some basic maintenance. So hopefully most of things will be taken care of. The location is FANTASTIC! We saw dolphins, seals, sea otters, and pelicans. The house was comfortable for the four of us. Well stocked kitchen. We did all of our own cooking and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Really....if the maintenance issues get solved, this is a great place!!

Pay attention to the fees

The property is located closer to the parking lot than to the ocean. It's a short walk to the ocean either way, but if you were hoping to look out your window at the ocean, it's not quite that close. The property was clean and well-maintained. Staff was pleasant and checked us in quickly. The king-sized mattress is a little on the firm side, but otherwise comfortable. Unlike some other properties we've stayed at, minor items like soap and shampoo for the shower were not provided so plan on bringing your own if you plan on using the shower. Hand soap for the sink was provided. IMO, the chairs and sofa could stand to be a little more comfortable. They aren't old or worn down by any stretch, but they get uncomfortable to sit in for longer stretches. If you are planning to rent this property through VRBO, check the fees before committing. We rented for a three night stay and the fees (between VRBO fees and resort fees) ended up being almost as much as the three-night rental fee. The fees at other rentals that I've rented through VRBO have not been nearly as high. We like this complex very much, but given the cost we probably would pick a different unit on our next trip.

We do have a resort & property fee to help cover accidental damages, hoa nightly fees and access to Sports Equipment, Beach Toys & Boogie Boards, DVD Movie Library, etc. While we do not supply shampoo & conditioner, we list all of the supplies we do offer in our confirmations & amenities listed on Vrbo. We do have a gift store on site, where you checked in, should you have forgotten any toiletries, groceries, beer and wine and of course souvenirs. We'll check on our furniture! Our company Pajaro Dunes Resort offers a variety of properties so hopefully we can host you at another of our condos with a more full ocean view next time & more affordable pricing.
