This home was exceptionally clean, well - appointed and gorgeous. The kitchen is a chef's dream. The grounds were fun to explore and we loved having a variety of ways to be fireside. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown Blairsville and Blue Ridge. Owners were very responsive. This is the best VRBO we have ever rented.

The home was well kept and very clean. We like to cook when on vacation so having a well-stocked kitchen and the overall kitchen layout was awesome. Everything about the property was as advertised. It felt very comfortable and secluded, but we weren't far from town, stores or all the surrounding activities. Host was very responsive to questions throughout the rental process. Access was no problem at all.We will likely be back over the summer.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 5 friends! The check-in process was very easy, and the cabin was spotless. It had everything we needed — a well-stocked kitchen (spices, flour, blender, ice, etc.), comfortable beds, a working fireplace, and reliable Wi-Fi. The hosts even brought us extension cords upon request! The lake was a bit dried up in October, so the highlight was definitely the cabin itself. We also appreciated the convenient location, with Walmart and Blairsville just a short drive away in case we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful and had great amenities, appliances, and details. Our children enjoyed the loft and game room and hiking around the property. When we had a question (and a small issue with some nature) the hosts were very friendly and responsive. We can’t wait to come back.

A beautiful cabin nestled in the woods, it was a wonderful weekend accommodation. The bedrooms were comfortable, with very nice thick bath towels in each bathroom. The kitchen was phenomenal with upscale appliances and every piece of equipment one could possibly need. Our weekend plans took us away from the cabin for most of the day, but one could easily spend all one's time there resting and enjoying the privacy and natural setting. It was practically perfect in every way.

Hidden Gem

What an amazing cabin. I almost don’t want to share this hidden gem with others! The cabin is absolutely beautiful. New appliances and lots of nice touches. Unlike other rentals, you are stocked with all of your basic needs and more! The kitchen is ready for anyone who wants to cook a nice meal. The property is beautiful with wildlife all around. Drinking coffee on the amazing porch and spending time there was the highlight. My nine year old was fascinated with the trails. I will absolutely be coming back. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with all the amenities if home, this place is it.

Beautiful Cabin

What a beautiful cabin in a great location. The cabin is very well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and more. Our family enjoyed our time at the lake and hopefully will return soon.

Exactly What We Needed

The owners are very attentive to detail and quick to respond. You can tell they put their heart into this property. Literally all we needed for the week was to bring ourselves, food, and clothes. Local to many state parks and simlar type venues. We saw deer and wild turkeys on the property.

Happy at Pinewood!

We have spent numerous get-aways staying in Select Registry B & B's and Pinewood VRBO was cleaner, had better decor and so well thought-out. More so than many of the other inns! Thank you for that experience.

Beautiful cabin and wonderful host

We made a little impromptu trip up to this cabin and it has everything, I mean absolutely everything you would need. Don’t pack anything extra bc Cynthia has probably already included it in the cabin. Short little walk to the lake to let my kids do some fishing along with trails on the property and s’mores fire pit! Even saw quite a few deer! We are already looking at booking another trip here.

Perfect Place!

This house was perfect for our family of four but could easily fit a couple more. The owners thought of every detail in building the home and hosting. From the high end appliances to the well stocked kitchen and baths, you have everything to relax and enjoy. You won’t want to stay inside much though because the outside is equally amazing! Our kids enjoyed roaming the trail, and we all enjoyed spotting the dear, foxes, and turkeys that wander the property in the early mornings and late afternoons. The location is centrally located to the state and national parks for an easy outing to hike or fish or even visit one of the quaint towns or wineries. We definitely hope to return!

Beautiful Log Cabin

This cabin seemed like it was brand new! Everything was clean and every detail had been thought of. It was great to step into a place that felt like home and that you didn't have to worry about a thing. So often there are issues with appliances, wifi, the ac, and the list goes on. Not here! The Hosts have thought about everything! The view from the front porch is very relaxing. Thank you for making it so easy. Would love to return!!

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful property on 4 1/2 wooded acres. View of the lake is limited due to the trees. Interior of the cabin is immaculate with top of the line appliances. Looking forward to another visit!

We had our own log cabin built on Lake Nottley over 20 years ago and have been enjoying this second home in the North Georgia mountains. Covid gave us the opportunity to unplug from daily career demands and with this acquire 4.5 acres and build a new cabin designed and finished specifically for guests. We very mindfully furnished and appointed the space and property for what we think someone wanting a luxury, private mountain get away would need and want.

The location of this property and cabin is ideally suited for both privacy and the opportunity to be immersed in nature and ready access to nearby activities and attractions. From days of never leaving the property and enjoying the comfort and tranquility of such a private, nature immersed retreat, to frequent day trips to the lake, hiking or trips to town and nearby attractions, this property affords it all.
