Relax in the calm & stylish Urban River Suite, 1 of 2 vacation rental units in a newly renovated home. The Suite occupies the entire 1st-floor of a beautiful historic house, steps away from the Hudson River. The building is located in a charming residential neighborhood and only a short drive/walk to Newburgh’s downtown (Liberty St.), the waterfront, and much more!

Feel at home right away in this beautiful large 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Suite, complete with everything you will need for your stay. This mid-century modern-inspired home is complete with a fully-equipped kitchen with cooking and baking essentials, a coffee bar, spacious bedrooms with queen beds, plenty of natural light, art by Black and Latino/Latina artists, and views of the Hudson River and Mt. Beacon! It should also be noted that the primary bedroom has a separate room attached where we have included a private office, which guests may use as a dedicated workspace.

Please enjoy the outdoor space our property has to offer! Relax on your private deck or enjoy the fire pit in the shared backyard!

Self-check-in at 4pm. The suite is accessible with a keypad. I have prepared a Guidebook with recommendations to nearby attractions, instructions, suite rules, and other important details for guests. Free parking is available at the property.

While we do not have baby equipment onsite, we are able to arrange for it to be rented to our guests for a fee. Please contact the host to learn more.

Water Street (one block behind the property) is the primary road that takes you to Newburgh’s waterfront for premier dining. At certain times traffic noise may be heard. It’s not intrusive, but may be noticeable depending upon the time of day. If you are an extra light sleeper, complimentary earplugs are available in the bathroom.

The Hudson Valley is a National Heritage Area steeped in history, natural beauty, culture, and an incredible food and farmer's market scene. Enjoy the views from the suite and I encourage you to check out the local restaurants & coffee shops, wineries & breweries, art galleries, shopping, and outdoor activities during your stay!

This apartment is beautifully decorated and well stocked, it has everything you need to be comfortable for a few days.Check-in and communication with the host were seamless throughout. I’d definitely stay here again when in the area. Oh and the views of the trees and river were stunning!!

This rental was conveniently located in that it was very close to shops and restaurants in Newburgh as well as a quick 10 min drive to Beacon. It's spacious and it was clean and comfortable all around.

The house was very clean and comfy. It was bright and airy. The decor was very nice and the accommodations were five star. I loved watching the sunrise from the kitchen/porch area. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Newburgh, NY. The waterfront area is very beautiful and the house was in a great location.

Property sits in an ideal location. Access to the waterfront, hiking and shopping was convenient for us. Nice get away with a friend worked out perfectly. All was provided for us. This was one of the most beautiful, clean, and restful places we've stayed. Everything was outstanding, especially the renovation of an old house to an upscale, trendy, comfortable place. Beds and linens were exceptional, and the art was a plus. Every tiny detail was thought out, and the residence was just steps from the parking--really amazing. Communication was excellent, too, and we got a great rec for several restaurants but chose the diner--another win. Thanks and we'll be back!

Great little apartment

Quaint town with beautiful views

Great spot!

Really enjoyed our stay at this little place! Only tough bit is the 1 bathroom. But other than that it’s a no brainer. Great view of the Hudson, really nice little coffee bar, and comfortable beds in both rooms. Easy parking and access as well. Would highly recommend.

Perfect weekend getaway

Our recent stay at the first floor Hudson River Suite was an absolute delight and the perfect weekend getaway for my family. The suite itself is perfectly appointed with everything fully stocked and thought through. The tasteful decor and attention to detail created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The spacious living area provided ample room for the whole family. Super nice neighborhood with views of the Hudson River made it all the more enjoyable. The location of the suite was ideal, providing easy access to various attractions and activities in the area. We took advantage of the nearby biking, charming riverfront, and fantastic local restaurants. The friendly recommendations provided by the host were greatly appreciated and made our experience even more memorable. Throughout our stay, Tahra was incredibly accommodating and responsive to any inquiries or requests we had. Her genuine care for our comfort and enjoyment was evident, and it enhanced our overall experience.

Cute, Clean and Easy

Everything about our short stay in Newburgh was perfect! The house was very clean, adorable, exactly like the pictures online. The host was very nice, accommodating and thoughtful. My sister and her husband and daughter stayed with my husband and I and we had plenty of space. We already said if we need to stay in the area again we would 100% stay here again. Thanks for making it a great experience !

We are thrilled to host our home in the lovely Hudson Valley. I grew up here in Orange County and my parents still live here. It has been amazing to see the area flourish over the years. My husband, Donnell, and I are parents to three kids (25, 17 and 14). I know, they aren't really kids...I should say young adults! We both have worked in NYC for over 20 years. Donnell in telecom engineering and I have been in the legal industry. About 15 years ago, I found my passion in interior decorating and design, and Donnell found his in construction. We love making older homes shine again! We have renovated over 20 homes in NY and NJ. We endeavored to create a space that makes you want to rush back and relax at the end of a long day out and about in the Hudson Valley. We pride ourselves on delivering a 5 STAR STAY to our guests and turning one-time guests into Returning Guests! We welcome you, your family and/or your friends to the City of Newburgh, the Hudson River Valley and The Hudson River Suites.
