While the neighborhood itself was not ideal, that would not have mattered if the home had been properly cleaned and adequately stocked.When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, the floors had not been vacuumed, and there were pillows without pillowcases. Basic supplies such as soap, toilet paper, trash bags, were limited and dishwasher detergent was not provided, and we had to purchase these ourselves to accommodate our visit. Additionally, the front door lock was not working and required us to replace the batteries just to gain access.We have stayed in many VRBOs and understand that things can occasionally be missed by cleaning crews, but this felt like a lack of basic preparation and attention to detail.I reached out to the owner to communicate these concerns but unfortunately never received a response.With better cleaning standards, proper stocking of supplies, and more responsive communication, this property could improve significantly.
