Great place to stay, in a great location. The access to the building is a bit sketchy but the condo is great, clean, modern and very comfortable.

My husband & I were in town for just a couple of nights. The Aether was perfect! So much to do and see in the immediate area. We walked everywhere. The parking pass was a great perk.

We loved being right in the middle of town and could walk to everything. It was also a bonus that it came with a parking pass. The apt was beautiful, spacious, clean and had all the conveniences of home provided. The only downside was the street was loud at night, but earplugs were provided at our bedside and the location was worth the noise. There is also a rooftop bar in the same building. I would definitely stay here again. It was also walking distance to a wedding venue that we attended. The host was great and all the directions were sent ahead of time and very specific.

We were very happy with our stay at this downtown condo. It was a great location for walking to many of the highlighted things to see/do in Wilmington as well as the great restaurants. The condo was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Also, the parking pass was a nice plus to have. As others mentioned before, the condo is right in the middle of all of the fun, so it did get loud at night. We were expecting that, so not a negative (just a fact)! We would definitely stay here again!

The space was beautifully decorated. It was extremely comfortable and close to everything. Fri and Sat nights were loud due to the rooftop bar. Overall a great place!

Perfect central location

My friend and I had a wonderful stay. We felt perfectly safe having a night on the town, and could walk anywhere worth being for the nightlife. Absolutely recommend

Great apartment in a super convenient location right downtown. Only thing keeping me from giving a full 5 stars is the level of noise from the clubs around the building (and on top) is remarkable. Being on the second floor it sounds like you are standing in line with the revelers below. Owner does provide earplugs and a top notch nose machine but you need to know that it can be really loud. May not be an issue mid week or when school is out but just keep it in mind.

Excellent host. Very communicative and responsive when I had questions.Since we were incidentally there during azalea fest I had issues with the parking garage and they were looked into immediately. All recommendations by host were perfect.I would stay again, for sure (but not during azalea fest).Rooftop bar was a perk I did not know was there.

Unbelievable location! "Too many" options for bars, restaurants, shopping and activities literally right outside the door. Electric car charging and super conveneient parking right across the street. Will most likely stay here again on our next trip since we just scratched the surface of what the area has to offer. Beautiful comfy condo as well.

Perfect little spot

Stayed here for Ironman 70.3 North Carolina. Close to everything and right along the run route. Finish line was behind the building. The Aether was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a long weekend. A great getaway in a quaint town. Highly recommend The Aether!

Last minute weekend getaway

My husband and I were traveling on our motorcycle and we needed a place to stay overnight. This place was perfect. We visit the battleship while we were there. It’s surrounded by many places to eat, so we were able to walk to the restaurant and back. It did however get very loud due to all the college students around but the host provided single use earbuds which did help.

This location is perfect if you want to take in the vibrant scene of downtown Wilmington and have a very short drive to Wrightsville Beach. We were able to walk to each restaurant we visited, and all were excellent! The property is precisely as advertised, in the heart of Wilmington. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and all linens, utensils, dishes and flatware were of very good quality.I was able to communicate often with the property host without any delays.Parking is very convenient with a garage directly across the street. Even on busy Saturday evening I was able to find a spot.I highly recommend this property, and we look forward to return!- Patrick & Tanya
