We had a great stay! We really enjoyed the hot tub after long hikes at Yosemite and had a great time unwinding on the back patio. Michael was quick to respond when we ran out of coffee pods for the Keurig and pointed us in the right direction for refills. All in all we had a great stay! Michael's place was very quiet and clean and it was just what we needed. Really wish we could have stayed longer.

Clean space with everything needed. Easy check in and out. Weather was too hot to use the hot tub. Incredible star viewings and quiet area. AT&T and Verizon both worked from the house (cell service can get spotty driving to and within Yosemite). WiFi worked great.

The cabin was perfect, centrally located to anything you would want to do in the area, it’s was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare any meal, the hot tub was a perfect temperature, and a welcomed relief after a full day of hiking and exploring. Michael was a pleasure to do deal with from booking to check out, will highly recommend Casa de Manzanita, to anyone heading up to Yosemite.

We had a lovely stay at Casa de Manzanita! The cabin is secluded and the surrounding mountains were beautiful Very quiet and peaceful place for my wife and I to spend our anniversary!

This was a studio cabin, perfect for a couple or a solo traveler. The place was clean and secluded. Jacuzzi was the highlight! It was awesome spending time in the hot tub after hiking all day, looking at the stars, with no nearby neighbors. It was very private and quaint. The only downside was the lighting system because the kitchen lights were on the same circuit as the ceiling fan, so if you wanted the fan on at night, you would have to unscrew the lightbulbs in the kitchen; but this was no big deal at all. Otherwise, all was great. Thank you, Michael. My husband and I enjoyed your cabin and would love to stop here again when visiting Yosemite in the future.

The host had great communication and was very welcoming! The cabin was clean and well supplied, everything you'd need for a perfect weekend getaway. Loved the Jacuzzi tub and bbq grill overlooking a beautiful sunset view. Would highly recommend to friends and family to stay here.

We had such a relaxing stay at Casa de Manzanita! We had the area pretty much to ourselves and the sky view from the hot top b at night is incredible! Michael was great and fast to reply back to any inquiries we had :) definitely recommend staying here.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay at Michael’s home was. I had just lost my mother and was looking for a peaceful, private getaway. His place was exactly what I needed—quaint, homey, small but incredibly cozy, with a beautiful outdoor area and plenty of privacy.My only complaint is that I could stay for just two nights! Unfortunately, I had to spend my third night somewhere else, and it didn’t come close to the experience I had at Michael’s. The wildlife was beautiful, the communication was excellent, and the entire property had such a peaceful and spiritual feeling.It may not be the biggest place, but it is the perfect place for one or two people looking to relax, recharge, and get away from everything. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.Thank you again, Michael. See you soon!

This cabin is great. Super clean and warm in the winter. Kitchen has everything you need to cook (we cooked all our meals: spaghetti, burgers, steak, risotto, and breakfasts). The hot tub was wonderful after all the hiking we did at Yosemite. During our stay the grill ran out of gas and the owner replaced it the next day so we were able to grill again which was not expected but so appreciated. Love this place. We already are talking about returning in the summer to do more hikes and would like to stay here again!

Excellent getaway!

We went to Yosemite for our anniversary, and this place was perfect! Comfortable, quiet, and the hot tub was great! Only thing I would recommend is to bring beach towels for the hot tub. We ran out of towels, otherwise highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay!

This is one of those rare places that is even better than described! Super charming and clean. So quiet and peaceful. Just the perfect place to enjoy the serene outdoors. They have everything you need. Full kitchen with a cute coffee bar. Comfty bed and living room. Just so quiet! We will definitely return!

This was a lovely getaway! The hot tub was so nice. The bed was very comfortable. The decor was so cute. All in all it was a beautiful setting and I enjoyed my stay! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because there were ants in the kitchen, some mold in the shower (in a spot at the base of the shower doors that is probably tricky to clean), a few lightbulbs seemed to be out. Things that were unfortunate, and not the owner’s fault, was low water pressure and the mosquitoes made it impossible for me to hang out at the back of the house.

Better than advertised! So peaceful and quiet. Worth the drive to the park . We enjoyed sitting in the front at night looking at the stars, and having breakfast in the back to watch the sunrise. The hot tub was perfect after a long day. Fantastic stay! Highly recommend! Host was helpful and informative. 10/10

So cute and cozy!

What a cute little spot this is. The frogs in the pond in the backyard are so serene. It’s also close enough to the park, and we got right in no wait. I definitely want to come back in the summer and have the best nights sleep of my life next to this pond on the top of this mountain. Also the price was great.

We had a wonderful time at Casa de Manzanita. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable - we especially enjoyed the backyard space and hot tub. The house was close to Oakhurst for restaurants and groceries. The house was a great base camp for us as we explored Yosemite National Park for the first time. It took about 90 minutes to get to Yosemite Valley, but the drive was easy and had beautiful views. Michael was very responsive and an excellent host. We would love to come back!

Beautiful little cabin with kitchen. The hot tub out back was a godsend after a day of hiking! Close to Oakhurst with restaurants and grocery stores. Easy to reach both south and west entrances of Yosemite. Note- we stayed a week, and towels weren't replaced. We only had 2 bath towels. Still a 10 for cleanliness and decor.
