Gather your family and friends and start making new memories. Welcome to Sunrise Bay, a beautiful and newly renovated waterfront home that is located on Alton Bay at the southernmost part of Lake Winnipesaukee. With stunning views of sunrises over the water, there is so much opportunity to enjoy what the Lakes Region has to offer with family and friends right from this location.

Comfortably sleeping 10, there are three bedrooms and additional sleeping for two in the finished basement. The beautiful fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and everything you will need for enjoying home-cooked meals or preparing for that family cookout. There is plenty of space for the whole family to spread out with two living areas and a spacious deck looking out over the water. Overlooking the water, the deck is perfect for entertaining and expands across the entire back of the home with plenty of seating, a large table, and a grill for outdoor dining or visiting with friends. The front yard is large and perfect for lawn games. There is also a dock and sandy beach on the property with one boat slip available that will accommodate up to a 24 ft boat. The clear waters and mild waves allow for plenty of swimming and fishing right from the dock.

A true highlight of the home is the basement game room that features a sectional and TV, shuffleboard table, cards, puzzles, and board games. It’s the perfect place to retreat to when the weather is colder.

Things to Know
Window units are provided in all bedrooms and the Sunrise Bay/Estate has two mini-splits, one in the basement, and one in the living room.
With the beautiful views there are five flights of steps (78 steps in total) to get down to the dock and beach area. To make the trek easier, the slanted railings have a hard plastic cover for easy gripping and there is a bench halfway down to rest if needed. Please be aware of this for any guests who may have limited mobility as they may not be comfortable accessing the private dock.
This property is managed by Vacasa New Hampshire LLC.

Beautiful lake front home

This home was wonderful! We stayed with 4 kids and 6 adults and had plenty of space. The lake views were breath-taking, as were the trips up and down the stairs to the lake - what a workout! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The house was perfect. The stairs are a lot to get to the dock , but once down you have a nice sand area and good fishing. Not noted is that it is a shared dock with the cabin on the property. But, great area, amazing house

Great Family Location with views!

The home is very well appointed and modern. The name speaks for itself with the beautiful sunsets. There are plenty of amenities from the kayaks to all of the games and puzzles. We were able to get the family together for our annual family retreat and couldn't have asked for anything better. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and am also looking forward to returning again. Many thanks to the host family for sharing their beautiful property with us.

Check-in was great however the cleaning staff just came back in while we were there after to replace the soaps but didn't knock so that was a bit awkward. Kitchen was well equipped but could use a deep cleaning on floor and appliances.

Good View, with minor issues.

We enjoyed our stay and all agree the view was worth it all. We did experience some issues getting into the house with the lack of instructions. The house could have used a good vacuuming but overall, it did not ruin our stay.

Great home in a great location.

This home was on a great location on the lake. We rented a 24' pontoon and kept it tied at the dock for 3 days and nights with no problems. The home was very clean and well equipped. We met the owners and they were extremely nice and gave some excellent advice for the property and town. The weather was unusually hot while we were there but the ac units kept all rooms nice and cool. The steps from the dock back to the house are something to be reckoned with but are doable for the average person. We would definitely rent this home again.

The house itself was great! Very big and plenty of space. After getting in the house we read the book rules. It explained there was also a cottage on the property that someone else could be renting or the owners of the house might stay there during our stay. It also said the deck on the back of the house/the dock were shared spaces and could be used by the people renting the cottage. That was not in the add when booking. If I would have saw that before I probably would have not booked the house. There were people staying in the cottage during our stay but thankfully they weren’t there much and we only crossed paths once. Also, we almost ran out of paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags during our stay. They only supplied us with 2 rolls of paper towels and 2 trash bags. For 8 people staying in a house for 4 nights I would have expected a little more stock of things. We still had a great time and the house was everything to be expected!
