The Anchor House was the perfect plane for us! We had 4 adults and two small kids! The beds were very comfortable and the house was extremely clean. It was a quiet place to really relax!! We would definitely stay there again!!

Very clean , great lighting The pool could have been alittle deeper ,I may have missed that in listing as I reviewed property.Over all excellent stay .My husband enjoyed the pier and well lit at night .Would definitely stay again

Amazing

We enjoyed staying here, the house was very clean and comfy. The views, pier and large area outside are perfect. Our 3 yr old did not want to leave! Can’t wait to book here again!

Property and home were great. The only and major downfall, was that we were notified an hour and a half prior to check in that ther pool was not in service due to a leak in a pipe under the house. We specifically opted for place with a private pier/pool. We wanted to avoid a public pier/pool, so we used additional funds for this very reason. All we got was an "Im sorry about that". No other communication or a do the right thing or make it right for your customers attitude. I wasnt going to ask either, I would have expected it to come from the hosts. Even my 8 year old grand daughter mentioned, maybe they will give you a discount for that? I told her, we will see if they will make it right on their own. We made the best of it. Wasnt going to let that ruin our vacation. We stayed from Friday - Monday. I understand some things are out of their control. The only expectation set was, " I beleive it is getting scheduled for repairs". I dont typically like to leave this type of review, but it was very disappointing and would like to let other renters know to ask if pool is open prior to booking.

Enjoyed the stay, close to good restaurants and shopping, wasn’t expecting price to jump to 475.00 a night but it was what it was, with trip insurance it was over 2100.00 for 4 nights

Fall break, coast trip for the kiddos.

This place did not disappoint. My kids had fall break this week so we decided to take a last-minute trip to the coast. The house had plenty of room, the house was clean and the yard was well-maintained. It’s a short driving distance to H-E-B, Walmart, and the gas station. The fishing was amazing under the lights, the first two nights. We caught a little bit of the front and the wind picked up on our last night. One of our best experiences we have had and we will definitely rebook a future trip. 5 starts all around

Our stay

It was a fun weekend. Wished the weather was better. We did need to call to have the pool cleaned as it was very dirty and full of bugs. Pump probably should have been on a better schedule. Also the pool deck was very uneven and a little hard to navigate. Also the beds all squeaked and made sleeping a little hard. We also could have used more towels. 1 per adult is not enough for a 5 day 4 night stay. We ended up washing a load of towels. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The entire experience was wonderful. The property was large and the view from the fishing pier was beautiful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Very quite neighboring properties. We would gladly book another stay.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed staying at property! The house was very clean, had plenty of towels, stocked kitchen, and nice decor. Enjoyed fishing on the peer and relaxing in the spa pool. The pool was smaller than expected, it was probably around 2ft deep. Overall the house was great!

We like Rockport and these are the properties that we always stay at, once a year for our fishing vacation, we enjoy going fishing! Liked that it had some yard for my special need son to walk around. It exceeded My expectations love the TV ROKU in the master bedroom it was great for my special needs son he was able to watch cartoons and I didn’t have to put on the DVD I took with me that was the best thing! Always very nice & ready to assist you with anything and very knowledgeable

The property was very beautiful but WARNING! The house does not cool down lower than 79 degrees. All day the house would stay at 83 degrees even if the AC was running all day. Would not recommend if you care about sleep in a comfortable environment.

Mr. Gonzalez, Thank you very much for your feedback. We deeply apologize that you felt the home was not cooling during your stay. We are all South Texas residents and, trust me, we ALL know how important a fully functioning AC is this time of year! Our staff has the ability to monitor home temperatures digitally, during your stay we saw no more than a 3 degree discrepancy between the "set to" temperature and what the thermostat was reading. However, after seeing your review, we have addressed the issue with our HVAC contractor and they are assessing the system to ensure that it is running without any problems.
