Absolutely no more than 4 people are allowed in the cottage or on the property. This is a strictly enforced HOA policy.

This unique 2BR/1BA cottage is nestled in the trees of the Lamar peninsula of Rockport, Texas. Decorated for comfort and stocked with all your essential needs of home. This sweet inviting living area features ample seating for you to unwind and watch your favorite shows or movies on the flat screen TV. There is not a direct view of the water from the cottage. The cooking space features many countertops and a full suite of appliances featuring a gas stove and Keurig coffee maker. There is room for four to gather at a wooden dining table. This house sleeps up to 4 guests between two stylishly appointed bedrooms.The first bedroom displays a queen bed, hardwood floors, built-in drawers and a closet.A coastal themed second bedroom gleams with natural sunlight featuring a queen bed, closet and a work desk.The bathroom shared between the two bedrooms has an open-concept vanity area; with a locking door to area with a tub/shower combo.

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, access to a pool, boat ramp, and bait stand. This is the perfect home for you to enjoy long hours of fishing and relaxation by the pool. There is boat ramp available at the marina, so don't forget to bring your boat and get ready for some fabulous fishing and water viewsParking is available for up to two vehicles. Enjoy dining and entertaining near the shared community pools, offering a dreamy waterfront setting and a shaded sitting area. If you feel like fishing, the local fishing bulkhead offers a peaceful spot to cast a line.You can also enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the weather while cooking up some fresh fish on the BBQ grill. This cute cottage is perfect for any fishing getaway and will be sure to meet all of your fishing needs.

Goose Island State Park is a haven for hiking, kayaking, and fishing, and Fly Fish Rockport (5-minute drive) is your go-to option to arrange fishing charters. Drive 5 minutes to explore the fascinating Fulton Mansion State Historic Site - a local landmark dating back to 1877. Hop in the car and head 15 minutes for a day of fun at Rockport Beach Park. This popular gathering space includes a sandy beach, kids' playground, and shallow waters. Local shops and eateries are less than a 10-minute drive away. Be sure to check out the popular Charlotte Plummer's Restaurant for rustic coastal classics in a casual setting.

Always enjoy our visits to SeaGun in Lamar/Rockport! Great little cabin and a great time fishing from the bulkhead. Got to see a porpoise while out there and accidentally reeled in a few stingrays, along with our seatrout and hardheads, but it was so fun!

It is a special place to my family and we are thankful it is available for us to rent when we come down to the coast. So many memories from 30 years ago. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, walking the shoreline searching for shells and giing into town for sone shopping and dining. Thanks for another nice stay.

I was less than 10 minutes from the field where the Whooping Cranes hang out in February and less than 20 minutes from the Rockport Center for the Arts where I took a 3 day Watercolor workshop.

Very emotional being back in my grandfather's old cabin (he owned in from sometime in the 80's to 1998). We all had so many memories to share and even noticed that some items inside the unit were still the same/still part of the decor, etc. Thank you so much for allowing us to gather there and we're already making plans to rent it again in the future.

You need to do floor cleaning. My feet were black from walking around. Bathroom need the floor and corners cleaned. The pans need to be updated. And you can’t see out the windows they are so dirty.

This bayhome was the getaway we needed.

This bayhome was the getaway we needed. the unit was very clean, accessible and very convenient to the bait shop and 7 Eleven for breakfast tacos. The condos were not over populated at all, which was perfect during these COIVD 19 times. We had to call housekeeping twice but they were very quick to resolve the issue. The unit had pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. Felt like we were right at home. The pool and fishing pier on the premises was a plus. Thinking about rebooking soon We booked this little gateaway last minute. And within the hour I received a call from Miss Kitty's service to confirm the reservation. Super polite and got us squared away really quick. They offered up their number in case anything was needed. Felt really good about the booking.

Overall was a good place to stay.

Only 2 bad things. When we would use microwave, we only had 15 seconds at a time before it would short out. We think it is the power strip it is connected to. We were told there was a bbq pit and there wasn't. Disappointed since we like to bbq. We did love fishing at the marina. Overall good vacation.

Quick fishing get away

The rental was very clean and comfortable. Fishing by the marina was very enjoyable, especially at night with the lights. Very quiet neighborhood with quick access to the highway to Rockport. Did not find the barbecue pit. Took a ride to Goose Island State Park and used one there while we fished. We will be returning.
