Convenient to Downtown Austin

Stayed for a week without any great problems. Convenient to down town (as much as any place in Austin can be). We were attending state theater competitions and had easy good access to down town and the theater. While the home is in an older neighborhood that had once been nice, it is begin revitalized as we speak. Never felt unsafe. Accomodations serviceable but somewhat low (I'm a tall guy). Mattress in master was too soft for me but still serviceable. Highly recommend. Host is responsive.

Guys Weekend in Austin

The house met our needs as a group of seven 62 year high school friends on a weekend trip. The seven beds were all comfortable. We found what we needed for the limited cooking we did and everything was clean. Howie responded quickly to a couple questions. The house is within 15 minutes of downtown, the capitol and UT. A great experience all around! Thx!

UT Football Weekend

House had plenty of rooms and bed, each bathroom had great waterfall showers. Yard was huge but a little overgrown other than that we we definitely use it again if we are lucky to get tickets again

Very easy to communicate with the owners! House matched the listing - everything up to date and seemed newly remodeled. Not in the best neighborhood. Wasn’t clean and had a strong odor.

Sorority House

The property was as listed and was tastefully appointed. We did have trouble getting into the house because the code did not work. I called him and he reset the code. right away. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very accommodating, especially the master bedroom. Both had rain showerheads and new fixtures. However, the front bathroom shower curtain had a large area with mold on it. I called the homeowner, who was not able to come out and fix it, so I told him that we would buy one at the Family Dollar down the street if he could reimburse us. We also had to buy lighters because the stove igniters would not work to turn on the gas stove. He reimbursed me electronically the same day. Overall, the house was very clean and had everything that we needed. The rug in the living room could have been cleaned. We had nine ladies who were attending a conference at the convention center. The drive to the convention center was easy and did not take long. Our host was very accommodating and worked with us to fulfill our needs. I would stay here again. Thank you Howie

Austin pre eclipse vacation

We loved this place, with only a couple of hiccups 1. locking and unlocking front door was difficult as they sad to pull door hard to close, but that’s not really necessary one we figured out just close normally it worked just fine 2. we missed garbage pickup day because we were unaware of when that happened overall nice clean spacious place

SMELLY HOUSE & OVERGROWN YARD

House smelt of fish so had to purchase Febreze and yard was very overgrown. Grass was taller than our 3 year old and we were unable to have a Easter egg hunt for our kids. We never got the check out instructions although we were familiar with the process so we reached out to the host. He blamed VRBO for not sending out. Area carpets were stained. Host did try to cancel on the day of arrival but we could not find another place to stay due to the short notice. I wish I would have asked for a discount since house continued to smell of a possible plumbing problem. No curtains in the living room which allowed all to be seen by the neighbors

Bachelor trip

Our stay was good inside the house was nice. Very disappointed with the yard being unkept. We planned on playing yard games all weekend but we’re unable to because the grass was knee high and full of weeds and thistles.

Great guys weekend

Lots of space in living areas and plenty of beds for our group. Was also easy to get Ubers and short distance from downtown. Updated interior made it very comfortable.

Property Awarness

Property was just as described and photo are accurate. Upon arrival to property the door code did not work. When i called the host i was sent to voicemail. They responded to text though very quickly and gave me a new code to get it. I was not to thrilled about this as i feared the code was not a one off. Front windows did not have curtains, so the neighbors could see inside. Once inside the house is beautiful and looks brand new. Beds are comfy and the shower was great. Ice maker in the fridge did not work. Overall it was a great stay and would use the property again if in Austin.

Pretty Cool Spot

Property was super spacious and ver accommodating. I had a part of 12 and everyone was comfortable. The location is in a quiet neighborhood just 10-15min from downtown. Only suggestion is spraying for pests, lawn care, and trash. Suggestions for guests- make sure you pack your own seasonings and cookware.

Friends trip

We truly had a great time here! It was a perfect size for all the boys and it was a nice place to sit back and relax. Some more furniture would be nice as well! But that is it as far as that! Great place to stay

Great, updated home in East Austin

The description is very fitting for this home! It is very spacious and well laid out! The kitchen is amazing!! High end appliances and has all that you will need to prepare a meal....just bring in your groceries! The beds are really comfortable! Bathrooms are clean and updated as well! The property manager, Howie, was very helpful and available to answer any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend this place to our friends and look forward to staying here again!

Great stay!

Everything was just as pictured. We had 8 people in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was a little older of a home but it was nicely updated and you felt like you were in a brand new house once inside. It was very clean and had everything needed!

I'm your host, Howie. I grew up in Taiwan. During college I visited Austin once. Since then I knew I would eventually move here. After graduating college, I worked as a mechanical engineer in the auto industry for 14 years in Kentucky. I dabbled in real estate on the side as an investor and I loved it. Covid19 pandemic gave us a brand new perspective on life. After consulting with my wife I decided to quit my job and became a real estate agent full time. And it had to be in Austin. The city just has so much to offer and so much to do. My wife and I are so glad we are finally here. And we hope to provide a comfortable stay while you're in the city whether it's for vacation or work.
