Cozy Beach Cottage in Downtown South Haven

Come enjoy summer in South Haven at this cozy beach themed cottage. Great location that is a 5-minute walk from downtown. Our Cottage is a historic craftsman that has been renovated to provide all your desired comforts of home. Professionally cleaned prior to your arrival with coastal themed linens and bath towels. All of our bedrooms are located on the first floor, as well as the living room, dining room, kitchen and a rear three seasons room. The master bedroom comes with a queen size bed and cable tv. Two additional bedrooms have a queen bed and a full-size bed. A fully stocked kitchen provides all cookware, silverware, Keurig and serving dishes for BBQing. Full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave and dishwasher. Large outdoor space comes with a Weber gas grill and a picnic table for six. Wrap around deck with a sectional rattan patio set for enjoying morning coffee. Front porch comes with an outdoor swing to enjoy the fresh South Haven breeze.
Our home is located in a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors. Late night parties will not be tolerated.

Great rental! Clean, close to town, close to surrounding towns, peaceful back yard, nice neighbors. Only one suggestion.. would be nice to have softer lighting in main sitting area. All the wall lights really make it very bright when relaxing at end of the day. Definitely one of the nicer rentals we’ve been at.

This is a beautiful house; very clean, warm and inviting. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor space is so pretty. We had a great trip!

Lovely place, great location

Immaculate house, comfortable and beautifully decorated inside and out. Close to beaches and all the things in town. Well stocked towels and linens and everything you would need for the kitchen - much more than any rental we’ve been in. Older house but didn’t feel that way. Neighbors were nice but driveways are adjoining right alongside the houses, so you just need to be considerate. Would certainly recommend it and would stay there again.

Great spot!

Location is in a nice neighborhood and convenient to downtown shops/restaurants. The kids (ages 4 and 6) enjoyed the toys, games, and books in the cottage. Nice back yard with picnic table and fire pit. Plenty of room for our family. Clean and well appointed. Great stay!

The house was beautiful. Neighborhood was safe and location was super close to downtown shops and beaches. We enjoyed our stay very much. House was very clean and had all the extra items you could have wanted. Outside area was really nice as well. We will stay again

Girls weekend

The house is lovely. Quiet neighborhood. Close to shops and restaurants and walking distance to the beach. We had very nice time and would stay again. Only recommendation would be to have more mirrors. One mirror for four women is not enough😊.

Three chicks in South Haven

this property was a good, clean place to stay in a quiet neighbor hood. Best of all, all bedrooms were on the first floor. A great place to relax at the end of our busy day. Only one drawback, one mirror in whole house (in bathroom). This is not good for three women. All in all, my two sisters and I had a great time.

Neighborhood Gem

Great place to relax with well stocked house and outdoor space. Had trouble with front door but we’re thrilled when we entered. The local contact was very helpful and owner had good communication. Impressive organization and decorating by owner. Good place for a family, but take caution going down basement stairs. Would definitely stay again!

Instagram-worthy lake house

If you searched Instagram or Pinterest for "Michigan lake house," this house would appear in the results! So much attention to detail in this warm, cozy, immaculately clean and comfortable house. From the bathroom to the patio to the kitchen, the house has everything you could need and more! Location is great too - close to downtown, beaches, bike trails. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There's also children's books, toys, bowls, cups. We loved our stay!

Picture Perfect...

We took a long weekend trip with our adult children. We always stay in rental homes when we travel, and this is one of the few places we would rent again! It was exactly what we needed. The home was so clean, well appointed, and comfortable. There is a large table for dining and game playing. (They had some vintage games that brought back some great memories.) The back yard was fabulous with a fire pit, deck, picnic table and beautiful landscaping. The front had a lovely covered porch with a porch swing. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but it's close to everything. The only negative was that we couldn't stay longer...maybe next time 😊

Lovely home

This house is spacious and clean, with a beautiful backyard! Beds were comfy and there were toys for the kids to play with. We really enjoyed our stay, especially being walking distance to the beach!

Beware you need to read this and act accordingly

This was a beautiful property clean and well stocked… my family had a good time doing normal vacation things… it seemed like everything was going well with the hosts UNTIL… they accused us of damaging their air hockey table which was damaged when we got there… they charged our credit card the max allowed which is interesting as the table probably wasn’t worth that even if perfect… I had to spend a great deal of time to dispute the charge to get my money back… I believe that they knew it was broken and were trying to cheat me… I’ve never had a problem of any kind with other short term vacation rentals… I don’t know if VRBO is different but they were not helpful in this case… I’m going to stick with other rental companies from now on…

South Haven Charmer

This home treated us well during our stay. It felt like a second home getaway and South Haven was a pleasure to experience. Agree with previous comment that kitchen was perfectly and thoughtfully stocked for guests. The yard was so well presented and taken care of. This was a winner and we felt like neighbors in this neighborhood 😁

The property has undergone an extensive renovation over the past two years. It is finally finished, and we are happy to be able to share our home with our guests. It has a great backyard for relaxing and BBQing on a beautiful day and it's only a 5-minute walk to downtown South Haven.
